Marvel's Avengers (2020 Video Game)
9/10
Great game!
4 September 2020
This game has been a delight to play, the story is amazing with so much more to offer than the beta for those dissing it because of that.

And when done with the story, you can grind your favourite character in Multiplayer. I had a very fun time grinding Iron Man and I can't wait for future DLC.

Of course nothing is perfect and that's the case with this game. It has flaws. No major flaws but it can get repetive during the multiplayer missions, since it's basically the same thing on different maps. Although it takes a while before it gets boring.

I'm more of a story game nerd and this game definitely serves in that aspect and I highly recommend buying it. 8.8/10.

Lucifer: Spoiler Alert (2020)
Season 5, Episode 8
10/10
The Mid-Season Finale & Season 5 Part 1 Spoiler Review
25 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I'll do a spoiler review for both part 1 of the season itself and this episode alone.

The Episode

S5E8 "Spoiler Alert" is an amazingly directed episode that never stops going, it's intense action packed and left off on an amazing cliffhnager. I loved the final fight scene and the scene before that in which Lucifer is about to tell Chole that he loves her, now I do have a theory or two about why he didn't say it earlier but we'll get to that later. 9.7/10.

Part 1 of Season 5

I think the season started out very funny, and to be honest this actually would be one of the funniest seasons of Lucifer, which is great for the first part and boends really well with the story. But I hope it doesn't stay that way til the finale, I want the latter half to be nothing but epicness after epicness like season 4 and contain no filler episodes like the first half of this season. I really think it has the potential to take all of these plotlines for all of these characters and bring them together in the season finale.

Maze & Lilith

For example, Maze got some amazing character developement this season with hr mother and her sudden feel of being lost and needing a soul, her mission from what I believe, is to take the ring that Lilith gave to Lucifer as that ring might contain the soul of Lilith her self. She knows better than to trust Michael, but in this case she is too desparate of reaching her goal that she'll do whatever it takes.

Chloe & Lucifer

We all know Lucifer changed when he finally came back to earth, which is understandable since he was in hell for thousands of years, althought the change in him is very significant. He now more than ever wants Chloe. In episode 3 it's revealed that all this time Lucifer chose to be vulnerable around Chloe, and later on he no longer chooses to be vulnerable around her, which makes her believe he's quote on quote subconsciously pushing her away. This will remain a mystery for the time being, aswell as the mojo swapping thing. I did think it was weird of Lucifer to not tell Chloe that he loves her back in season 4 though. I believe that the reason he never told her about that was because of the prophecy, that once the Devil finds his first love, evil shall walk the earth. In this case Lucifer is scared of what might come if he tells her that he officially loves her. Since Eve also is rumored to come back this season they might stumble across some further implications.

Amenadiel & Linda

These characters were always great and all bit they really got special treatment this season that made them some of the best characters on the show. Amenadiel pro, ised to take care of hell while Lucifer was gone, until God apparently told him that he could leave hell without any further consequences. I personall thought this was a cop out and made the season 4 finale pretty useless, although I also believe there is more to it and that hell will strike back at them in the future, perhaps even the latter half of season 5. As for Linda it was revealed she had a baby at 17 that she abandoned because she felt she wasn't good enough for the baby. This storyline coincides with Maze's storyline this season and the whole "mother abandoning her child" thing. Which I felt was a necessary plot for both of their characters. Detectiv Amenadiel was a very interesting episode that showcased his profession as a detective due to him being an angel, and also introduced his own kind of "mojo". His power is capable of pulling out the truth in people. Which is a very interesting concept.

Ella & Pete

Ella this season took on a whole different path for her character, in the final 2 episode arc of part 1 she found a guy believed to be good named Pete. They started an unusually good relationship, Ella later discovered that her boyfriend actually was a serial killer, unlucky am I right. I've got to say the actor that played Pete was phenomenal, he did a great job at playing both sides of the card.

Michael & The Celestial Side of Things

Michael is a great villain so far and is played perfectly by Tom Ellis who also happens to play Lucifer. They really seem like different characters especially in small details like the face expression, the posture and even the accent. We still have yet to discover what Michael's true intensions are which really intrigues me. At the end of the mid-season finale though, God himself finally showed up on the show. And since the next episode after the break is called "Family Dinner" I expect some great drama from them. There's also a synopsis for the last episode of season 5 on IMDb "A Chance at a Happy Ending" that states that it's the final episode of Lucifer and that he has his final fight with dad. Since we know that this is not the last season, that synopsis might be meant for the finale of season 6 now that they expanded the course of this series and that IMDb simply forgot to move that. This really leaves some mystery though. Will it happen in season 5 or season 6?

Daniel

Daniel had a really interesting character arc this season, some good some not. I really enjoyed when Michael kept being nice to him in episode 2 and 3. That made it even funnier when Lucifer came back and remained dickish to him like always. I did find some things odd though, when Lucifer came back and was continuisly mean, Dan was never mean back. Which made Lucifer look like kind off an asshat. This makes me think Dan got some sort of treatment for his behaviour after Charlotte's death. I think it would have made more sense for Dan to keep being dickish back when Lucifer was, just for old times sake. But I did enjoy this new Dan, just wish we got some sort of explanation as to why he is different. Later on when he mourns Charlotte's death and Michael arrives, that really showcases the best of Kevin as an actor. And what follows after really boosts his character arc this season.

Pacing

What I loved about season 4 is that it got straight to the point, every episode was pretty much perfect. This season is different. It was meant to be a 10 episode final season but was made into a 16 episode season 6 and a season 6 with no confirmed episode count. It was later split into 2 parts because of the current state of the world. This will lead to filler episodes such as episode 4 of season 5. Netflix is doing it differently though. Some shows just decide to make filler episodes with nothing important or interesting included in them. Here, in episodes like 3, 4, 5, possibly even 6 and 7 are filler episodes even though they all share a specific point, they all have an important ending or cliffhanger that is important for the plot of the season while 80% of the episode was just a crime of the week, jokes and some lovely character developement. This is my main gripe with season 5. I really hope the second half is more plot focused like season 4 and includes less humour since we already got plenty here. However, I do like that since this is a longer season, the beginning is more soft and slowly but surely starts to plot the main course of the season. Almost like the first part is meant to be this more humourish, but still brings the plot forward. I was so amazed at how every episode of season 4 hyped me up and never stopped basically. So please Netflix, make the latter half of season 5 EVEN BETTER.

Final Score and Final Thoughts for the First Part of Season 5

Acting/Cast: 10/10

Story/Plot so far: 9/10

Pacing: 7/10 if it continues like this. 8 or 9/10 if it's meant to be a slow start and save the best for the next half.

Character Developement: 9/10

Action/Cinematography: 9/10

CGI: 10/10

Overall Score of the First Part of Season 5: 8.5/10

"Fighting a war tests a soldier's skill, defending his home tests a soldier's heart"
14 July 2020
The fortune cookie for this episode perfectly captures the tone of the episode. This episode revolves around the famous battle of Kamino, and after the episode "Clone Cadets" we follow the remains of the Domino Squad as most of them died in previous episodes. Clone troopers Fives and Echo are being sent back to Kamino to defend Tipoca City, home of the clones, from a separatist attack led by Asajj Ventress and General Grievous to whipe out the Clone Army once and for all. It's an amazing episode that shows the danger and consequences of war, there are many casualties. I would give this episode a score of 9.5/10.

It wasn't amazing or anything only because it wasn't the REAL GODSPEED but it was still great and actually showed how strong Godspeed can be. I'm interrested as to who "we" are, meaning the one who sent Godspeed. Either it's Reverse-Flash or it's the REAL GODSPEED! 8.8/10.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was a complete masterpiece, it tied up The Clone Wars so well. The second to last scene just says everything. The crash represents the fall of the republic and the scene after represents the rise of the empire and for Darth Vader to learn that his former apprentice is in fact dead, even though we know she's not. 10/10.

This episode was amazing, it made me cry so many times. It's not as action packed as the others but emotional and absolutely amazing nonetheless. There are a lot of things to talk about that are spoilers and i will not include them here. Another perfect part of the last arc of the whole show, 10/10.

I trust in Dave & Ashley
31 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was better than th last. People are complaing about bog getting action or anything. They don't realise this is more of a character study towards Ahsoka. Ashley Eckstein said in the podcast "The Rule of Two" that what happens to Ahsoka this arc is important to where her character goes in the Siege of Mandalore.

The story is getting and going. They are catched by the Pykes and the story will go on and lead in to the Siege of Mandalore which Dave wrote personally. Have hope guys. 8/10.

The Wrong Jedi Becomes a Grey Jedi...
22 March 2020
Basically the only thing to take in from this episode is the fact that our beloved Togruta Ahsoka is back. People are hating on this episode because it lacks story and tension. Most arcs do start out like this and this is no different. No this was not a great episode but you have to remember that this is only the first episode of this arc and doesn't have much to offer except for Ahsoka and her new "friends". 7/10.

This was an amazing episode, i mean, what did people expect? The episode was called "The Exorcism of Nash Wells" for a reason. And it did just that. It freed Nash of Thawne but Thawne is still out there and will come back. Great episode. 9.5/10.

Perfect!
13 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Well i guess i was wrong, last week in my review i said that it seemed like disney was censoring "too violent" scenes but i am glad to confirm that theory to be wrong. The scene where Anakin killed trench was equally as violent as before. They even added the Imperial March in the background, now that they've proven that they don't hold back i'm really excited to see how order 66 turns out and just the Siege of Mandalore in general!

This episode was amazing! It was ALMOST perfect, i just would've added a scene with Echo and Rex talking about Fives but other than that it was perfect. For me this is easily the best episode of season 7 so far. I absolutely loved this arc. There were some changes to this episode but none of them were major, the first one i noticed being that Echo has a helmet that i believe he didn't have before. Also the ending changed so now Echo joins the Bad Batch which i feel is a much better ending than before. They also added some new action scenes with the Bad Batch all of which were amazing.

This episode turned out so fricking good and i can not wait to see the remaining 8 episodes now that we move in to new territory! 10/10.

Good but not great...
6 March 2020
The last two episodes have been amazing but this one just fell a little short for me. It was shortened down because of the removal of a pretty long scene. It was pretty good too, disney seem to have cut it out because of violence. Are they serious? If they don't show emotional, dark and violent deaths in order 66 then i'm going to be mad. They are treating this like a kids show! They sure didn't treat The Mandalorian like a kids show so why do that with this? Also this was just kind of a lead up episode to the next one. I hope they add some great scene in the next instead.

But that was just the negatives. There are plenty of positives too! The action in this episode was phenomenal as usual with this new season and we got to see some more action with Anakin too. Hopefully though, next episode will be longer, darker, more emotional and just better overall. I don't want them (disney) to hold back with the dark tone and violence with this LAST season. They will disappoint me and many fans if they do! 8.2/10.

Best Ep. of Season 1
3 March 2020
This is (for me) easily the best episode of this season. Clone arcs are so good. My 4th favourite arc is the Clone Cadets arc. My 2nd favourite is the Umbara arc. This episode is part of the Clone Cadets arc. Therefore the best of the season. Lair of Grievous comes very close!

A DISTANT ECHO!
28 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
(( S P O I L E R R E V I E W ))

So i already did i review for this episode but there is just to much to cover that you just can't cover in a non-spoiler review. So here is my spoiler filled review.

The first real change from the unfinished episode that i noticed was when Anakin went to talk to Padmé. In the original version (as many of you know) there was a nose art of Padmé on the side of the bad batch's shuttle. Instead of just taking that fun but unnecessary moment out they instead replaced it with this sweet moment.

And by "this sweet moment" i mean the scene where Anakin went to talk to Padmé and Rex got to cover up for him. This reveals that Rex either knew all along or just found out recently. But the real shocking moment that really had me wondering was when Obi-Wan Kenobi was revealed to had known as well. This was a really sweet scene but also a really important one. So i am glad that they replaced the nose art scene with this.

The next "not so shocking" reveal of this episode was when we finally got to see Echo ALIVE! My favourite clone has always been Fives and i still miss him but this... this was really cool. It is going to be interresting to see his reaction to Fives being dead. And maybe that will tie in to the whole Order 66 Siege of Mandalore arc at the end of this season. Still 9.6/10.

Amazing start to the final season of this beautiful series. I'm so glad it's in the right hands with Dave Filoni and the team. The know what's right and they do it right.

Great decision to remake this clone based arc as the very first. I think this is exactly what we fans wanted. Super excited for the next episodes in this arc and the two more arcs to come.

I don't care...
15 February 2020
This episode had good moments for the over-arching story of the second half. The good story line was with Iris and Barry, while there was a terrible filler storyline with the worst villain of the show - Amunet Black, and a not so good Goldface too. This story was cringe and awful, so awful it was funny. And i let it slide just because it was a filler, fun valenties episode. I take it for what it is. And let the real story of the season come this next episode.

So what can i say? It was bad other than the Iris storyline! People think she gets to much screentime, but people also think she gets too bad storylines and to little things to do. Now that she finally has a good reporter arc that ties in with Black Hole, people are angry that she gets too much screentime instead.

I think the storyline Iris is given this season is the best she has ever had on the show! She's finally not the leader of team flash or anything. But yeah, this episode was bad, but i don't care! Because this is just a filler valentines episode, i will wait for the REAL story to come. 6.6/10.

Holy crimson skies of death!
11 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was crazy! Omg, all he twists too were some of the best parts. For example i never thought earth-1 would go and all of the characters except for the paragons are dead! That makes for a great climax in the coming parts... are they going to fight at the dawn of time like in the comics? Is reverse-flash gonna show up? Who knows what the crisis has in store for us... great episode though and easily the best of the crossover. 10/10

Real good mid-season finale!
4 December 2019
The first two part finale on the flash and it was awesome! This didn't feel like a mid season finale... this felt more like a finale for an 8 episode season. Because at the end it's like they always do at the end of a season... they tease the next. Now they teased crisis instead of next season but still! I'll admit last weeks episode was better but that was godlike... even in my top 5 episodes of the show... so it would be really hard for this episode to beat that but this was still a really good mid-season finale, keep it up Eric Wallace and the writers!

Last episode was 9.9/10 for me but this one will get a 9.7/10 really close though!

Amazing!
1 December 2019
I know this is a really late review but anyways... Grant Gustin just killed it this week! Like i knew he was a good actor but this, this is something else! And i mean something else in the best way possible!! Plus the new showrunner Eric Wallace just keeps killing it this season. Grants best scenes are when he outbursts in emotions and screams and you know those scenes... this episode, like the flashtime episode had alot of those. And i gotta give some to the writers this season... i guess Eric kinda becomes a writer since he decides what happens but anyways. The writing was just phenomenal... best episode since Enter Flashtime, 9.4/10.

Another great episode!
30 October 2019
This felt a little like a mid season finale, because this season is devided in two parts this episode makes the mid season finale for the first half...

Really good episode though... and to awnser that cmburton-29875 guy, i think you're in the wrong episode. Plus, when killer frost threw him out the window, Barry reacted like that just because he thought romero was alive, then when he found out romero was already dead he could "explode" him...

This episode is an 8.8 imo because of the great dialogue between rosso and barry, it really teased him as a villain and leads perfectly in to the next... i think the next one is gonna be even better! But i don't expect good reviews...

Avengers Endgame Spoiler/Spoiler free review
28 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This movie was the ultimate experience of mcu movies, it had the tears, it had the jokes, it had the satisfaction but most importantly for me, it had the heart. This rarely felt like (just a superhero movie) this felt more like a pay off to all of the characters that the mcu made us love from the beginning...

(( S P O I L E R R E V I E W ))

The best pay off for me was the Iron man one... i've been a hardcore fan of Iron man since the movie came out and cried so hard and loudly when he died and so that's probably the best pay off for me but there are some great references and call backs to other movies in this movie like the elevator scene from the time travel stuff (call back from winter soldier) and that "on your left" scene at the end when everyone came back" and my favourite moment from this movie was when captain took mjölnir and went "Avengers.... Assemble!"

That's when i really started crying and got chills and there are so many other great moments in this movie that makes hard to write about all of 'em so my tip is go watch the movie for your self if u haven't already.... strong 9,7/10 from me so it gets a 10/10....
