Disinformation
3 May 2021
Full of disinformation. But, they cover themselves legally by saying vague statements like "linked to" or "probably not a good idea to." The biggest problem is this is it is full of confusing causation and correlation in every statement they make. There is absolutely no scientific fact here at all. It's almost like they just took some blog spam, pretty'ed it up with a good narrator, decent graphics and just hit play. If you want to just watch anything on TV because you can't stand the sound of silence then this is ok, but the actual content is pure garbage disinformation when paid attention to.

Nightflyers (2018)
1/10
It's quite lame. Netflix is really setting itself to be in the business of low-budget idle-watching.
6 February 2019
This show is ok to watch, if you aren't actively watching it. Like, in the background, while you do some task like work. The scenes are all mostly filler. Some happen for no reason. Characters change or their attitude just become whatever without making any sense. It's like watching robot chicken a bit, but the same actors over and over again. This is perfect low budget, idle-watching. I gave it 1/10 since IMDB is about reviewing films, and as a film (story, plot, characters, CGI, etc) this one is 1/10.

Lastly, like may sci-fi stories, the story itself just changes so whatever intrigue is built up means little later on, it will just do another 180. Between the story having no fidelity, and all of the filler, the intrigue/lore constantly changing, this is, this really is meant to be watched as filler, maybe while you do something more entertaining like play video games or clean your house. Easy to just watch in the background and forget it, pick it back up, since there is nothing to pay attention to.

Most autistic and lifeless actors
27 December 2018
The hell is Elon Musk doing in this movie? An pointless virtue signaling to nerdy autistic fans?

So I have an odd theory and it's that most every movie with either Nicholas Cage or Morgan Freeman suck. NC in all his generic thriller movies and MF in all of his really bad sci-fi movies he does. This is another bad one, not worth subjecting your brain to.

As for Johnny Depp. He literally just rehashed the same character from Secret Window, showed up for 15 minutes of screen time, and was out. Oh and of course, the boxart for this movie is just Johnny Depp. What garbage.

Unwatchable

Warning: Spoilers
This show is pulling all the strings in vainful attempts to help it's ratings. It probably should have come to final season in season 6.

The last straw and what prompted me to write this review wasn't even seeing an episode (since I sort of forgot about the show but was going to watch more of it later). It was the blatant SPOILERS that the marketing team is putting out about how the main character dies. The show is THAT desperate for attention that they are spoiling such a huge event like that, easily the worst thing you can spoil. This show must be in a real financial mess to be that desperate. I can't even watch it now, but I'm sure there probably somewhat happy with the viewers that they brought back for a quick glimpse due to advertising spoilers.

This show is finally going out in a long-winded, annoying deathrattle that the producers just won't stop trying to get everyone to look at.

I would have given this a 4/10 - 6/10 if it wasn't for the advertising of spoilers in season 9. I would have given it about a 5/10 for producing a good/great few starting seasons and eventually ending up with some really bad trash TV during the Neagan reign. Like the episode with the really bad CGI animated deer was the writing on the wall. I think we all sympathize with Neagan because we want to watch this annoying show die quickly with a blunt to the head via baseball bat, in an act of mercy, instead of just sueel it's annoying deathrattle as it begs for viewers by stooping to advertising spoilers.

Forced and awkward
13 September 2018
Norman is new to town, and as soon as the show starts a group of popular and attractive girls offer him a ride in their BMW convertible. Ok, this is looking pretty bad already. Since when do potential pyscho murders get offered this kind of attention and friendliness within 5 minutes of just moving to town. This seems like a decent chick-flick for those interested in highschool romance dramas.

I can forgive the unrealness, as reality can be boring. I have no problem getting past a few scenes like this. What really just makes the show unbearable is all the characters who keep forcing their way into each scene. It's so unrealistic. Norman has met and befriended so many people on the first day, this is just bizarre and not normal human behavior at all. I guess a show about a pyscho loner murdering people wouldn't be interesting, so they had to cram Teen Wolf into it, just replace the werewolves with an unrealistic pyscho killer who acts like a rebellious teen with lots of (hot) friends and the occasional momma boys scene that is crammed in to make seem different than every other heart-throb high school teen drama.

I like season 1-3 more than Breaking Bad
4 September 2018
Warning: Spoilers
So I think season 1-3 are amazing. But since season 4, it just really seems to be stretched out and filled with so much mundane filler. Too much shift has been put onto Kim Wexler while Jimmy is just playing Saul Goodman without any explanation as to why other than maybe as a way to avoid guilt of his brother dying and it being his fault. But this isn't portrayed much at all, instead how about we develop Kim Wexler as wonder woman who has to save criminals as some kind of guidance counseling lawyer.

Season 2 really pivoted into a slow paced and dark for the sake of edgyness
2 September 2018
Season 1 was good and had a certain flow to it. Each of the characters made sense as to why they had screen time. Season 2, seems to be all about the wife and her political career, with lots of spooky and morally dark scenes. Wow, very spooky I feel so dark and gritty I almost cut my wrists on all the edge factor. This movie just went with the lowest common denominator: large but low quality nudity, sex, murder, violence scenes. Yet plays it corporately safe by trying to tally an even amount of screen time between the wives and husbands, as to appeal to the broadest amount of audience (ie: profit in Netflix subs) possible. This appeal to make the show gender equal just dilutes the appeal of it being about a drug empire. I mean, what kind of evil cartel empire draws the line at being politically correct? Seriously, that's the line that they won't cross? Very spooky!
