The trailer plot caught me--love an interesting Sci-fi. First 30 all is good up there, then all hell breaks loose down there. Of course the hell that broke loose below between two countries while astronauts from 2 different countries were sharing ISS quarters. Interesting premise in my view that could have been written better plot wise. These astronauts were merrily working together and only have each other. Down on earth there is chaos and the dust had to be settled. Instead of saying to hell with the ingrained military rules, a war of there own is started as they follow the chain of military tactical commands of what to do to save ISS at all costs (someone from below sent both parties this info). Saving ISS becomes primary matter with "who can I trust" issues develop. The last 20 minutes (1 American/1 Russian left)is the best and should have been the primary plot for all living in the confines. I really wanted to know how all crew members felt as they watched what was going down below. Not just to follow the protocols their military sent them. At one point I considered them to be both countries lab rats under such a cataclysmic situation (interesting timing). Being it's an independent low budget film I give the company/producer 5 Stars proving you don't need tons of money to create great sets, or over use of CGI.
I didn't dislike this movie and probably watch it again after reading these reviews. I just wished I knew who most of these characters were about before the chaos. If you can sit through the middle to see the end (LOVE THE END), you'd get what I mean.
