This is a very inordinary movie. With perhaps too much emphasis, and too many metaphors, making the movie feel like many small stories, instead of one singulare. Pictures and feeling by themselves, instead of a coherent film. It has a lot of beautifully written dialogue, but I did feel unjointed by everything being smooshed together. The movie had beautiful acting, touching performances especially from the lead played by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman. Who did an amazing job. The writing of Charlie Kaufmann is briliant, but I much prefer when someone contains his beautiful writing, and has more of a red line throughout the story, so it feels more put together, and not just a scramble of a bunch of quotes, metaphors.

Watched 11 episodes. The narrator keeps repeating himself. Also pointing out the most obvious things we've just witnessed. It's beyond dumb and annoying. The show could have been great without it, but it ruins it. It's like the narrator is made to help dumb people who can't understand what the heck is going on. It's sad. Really sa, since it had big potential.

Are you that one in a million? Movies like this has forever distorted my view of love. Only one in a million has a change for a love life as shown on screen. But we all dream don't we?

However much it has screwed my head, making me believe or hope for a beautiful love story as this, good movie love stories still gets to me. Hoping I will one day be that one in a million.

The start of the movie didn't have me hooked at all, but it did catch up very well by around the middle, and had some very touching moments that had me tearing up. Just as a love movie should.

Because of the great catchup the movie had, I'm giving it an 8/10.

The best friend I ever had was a jehovas witness, I lost him where him being a jehovas witness was a part of the reason. My mother grew up as a jehowas witness, with her father being a tyrant and power hungry person with very little love to share.

I have never myself directly been involved with this "faith". But after watching and reading a lot on the internet, and watching this movie that should be a true story and what resembles the stories I've read and heard about, I think it is a very important movie to watch and think about.

Not only for people who are jehovas witnesses, but for anyone who have any beliefs. Putting things in perspective, I myself get these questions. "How can you put your faith/love in something you never seen or only have been told about, above REAL human beings/family".

To that I will never understand, and will as the main character, think it is more egoistic to deny your family, then your own beliefs.

To get into a more movie perspective, the movie was by no means perfect. It's filmotography was the worst part of the movie, real dull and not very movielike. But maybe it was intentional to make it feel more "real"?

Anyways if the message of the movie was not as important or near and dear to me, I would rate it a 7, but because of personal importance I dedicate it a 9.

Filled with plot holes, clichés everywhere, out of this world unnatural dialogue.

It probably would have worked fine for me if I was a teenager, and haven't seen as many movies as I have. The movie takes too many "textbook" ways, while also lacking a lot in character developments. If I could describe the world presented, it is very teenager like. You could say it reminds me of another movie not in my age group "Twilight".

I don't think there is more worth saying about this movie. As a very avid movie watcher, it's def not worth watching. But for pure spectacle, it is still suggested for non avid movie people, and the younger audiences.

Magical. That is the first word that comes to mind when describing this movie.

The movie has so many life lessons put into one, but none of them feel forced or are repeated so you start to feel sick. It has the perfect balance of action, everything just melts together and fits together. The mood and the storytelling, how it IS a animation, so over the top things works brilliant, the art direction supports this. I teared up several times during the film, already after few min, and I think you will to.

The pacing is brilliant, big concluding finale, nothing really overstays it's welcome. It has a lot of funny, clever jokes. It just puts a big smile onto your face, while also touching you in deep places, and with stuff we all think off. We want to do this, we want to do that. I know I do, forget to live in the now. Get over the past, it only does one thing, and that is hold you down, which this movie literally shows time again. Each time he makes bad decisions because of the past, the house gets lower and lower and harder to carry.

It's just a fantastic movie, I've seen more movies then I can count, and I can honestly say that this is one of my favorite movies of all time. Everything blends together perfectly, I couldn't find a bad thing, even if I tried very hard.

A great example on how well you can tell a story without much dialogue.

A old saying is that a picture says more than a 1000 words, that is a saying, I very much find to be the truth.

The movie in a sense reminds m of another movie called "The Fountain". Both movies there is very little dialogue, it is all about that word again, picture. Pictures of men, pictures of battles, pictures of passion. Passion in men, and feelings scenery and music can stir up deep inside of us.

That is what this movie does, tells a simple, yet beautiful story, through very little dialogue, but through beautiful emotions shown in the actors and actresses. That tells us much more than words could ever do. The cinematography is simply beautiful and brilliant. Some would say this movie has too much slow motion, but like I already said the movie is more telling its story visually than any other way, and this is one of the very few times it really works.

To sum it up, beautiful emotional performances by Gerard Butler (his best showing I've seen) and fellow costars Lena Headey and David Wenham.

If you are one who can with simple, yet powerful storytelling receive enjoyment and excitement, this movie is for you. If you can only find excitement in character progression and dialogue heavy stories, this is not for you. For me it is a 9/10. Very close to 10. (I keep changing from 9-10)

This is a very entertaining movie for sure. I think this is a good line to begin with, because from a movie perspective I see it as a big old B film, hehe... But I enjoyed the movie from start to end, even with all the clichés, the americanish touch, the sometimes laughable dialog. This is a movie where you just turn your brain off, and just enjoy the fun ride it is, and root for the humans, and especially the Americans (:p) to win over evil!...

The movie I must say has a lot of memorable moments... A lot of them comes from the great special effects. I remember when watching this as a kid, I was woved by the effects, and they still look pretty good to this day! So to end it all, if you are a movie viewer who watches movies for character development, clever dialog, etc. This movie is not for you. If you just want a good time, and a good feeling after watching a movie, I recommend this very much! Thanks for reading, and have a great day!

decent flick, just dragged out...

This movie was a decent flick about the "end of the world" … It was just to dragged out, and too much the same… The movie where 2 ½ hours, and it should only have been around 1 ½. To much fills in, which didn't give anything to the plot, just fillers… Well that's it for my short little review, 6 out of 10.

I need to write a little more so here goes: A lot of the times in the movie, the acting wasn't that good, like when everything was collapsing and stuff, people didn't seem to fear, etc... Also it was quite cheesy at times, and over the top exaggerated.

Why do I keep falling in love with Rachel McAdams She just has this sweetness about her… This movie is a real tearjerker, so prepare… almost in the league of movies like The Notebook, also starring Rachel McAdams… All the time with movies including time traveling, there is a lot of questions, but just don't bother trying to answer them, no one can…! But this movie was a delight in the way It tried to be… It was mostly sad, but also happy in a way… But the type that makes you cry, or made me cry….

The movie is about a guy who travels through time, and falling in love with a girl… He is not in full control of his time traveling, and he just appears in times that had a big impact on him… And she had a big impact on him…. If love is real, and you found it. Pleasure it and enjoy every second of it… Don't live through time trying to change the past or the future, live in the time which is now, the past cannot be changed… and the future… is out there, but don't think about changing it, don't think to much of it, it will drive you nuts!

When seeing this movie I laughed out loud on several occasions... the whole films view on things was just fun, not a movie to be taken serious, even though it kind of involved a kind of serious subject, mostly father son differences and men not being able to say how they feel... the movie also was in on other subjects everyone can relate to...

I must just say, this movie was fun as s***, it had great references to a lot of stuff,... And you could just hear on the actors that they had a lot of fun doing the movie, and they really did an amazing job with the actor performances, they just seem so happy when telling the story, and it reflects the whole movie, just fun...

anyway this is it for my little review, go see it if you wan't to have a good time and some good laughs... It is definitely better than most animated movies, and I rate it a 9 out of 10...

This movie was not all fun, not all an experience... It was at moments, dull, like when you feel like a movie needs to fill up space... But it was actually just like in real life... When life lessons are learned, a lot of the middle is not very exciting, but the lessons that you have learned are what counts... And for showing them in a very realistic way, and not so movie like like many does, where the boy always get's the girl, the movies should get praise for that!...

To sum it up real quick, the movie felt like a bad movie in the middle, but still with good acting etc. When it really was a good movie, just different from other movies, and that is probably why I didn't give it higher, I'm not use to movies, not being like movies. But it is brave move to make a movie like this, and big props for the people involved in the movie for doing that...

Funny people I give a 7 out of 10, above average...

Well just s SHORT description, this episode was great! :) It reminded me of simpler days, when you where child, and had child loves, and your very first kiss... My very first kiss was also at a summer thing, and I remember it like yesterday... Perhaps even better :D I can go back to all the emotions and happiness I felt that time in life, and watching this episode brought it all back, and it gave me little tears in my eyes...

I must say this movie is for me one of the most inspiring movies to date.

It is truly inspiring with the messages it sends throughout the whole movie. The spirit of the movie is truly great, and you feel what the main person feels, and if you are like me you recognize them. And understand them.

The movie is not for people who like short movies. This is a long and great adventure. And as I see it, his life in this movie, was a glorification of life in the past.

My advice is to you. If you like inspiring movies, and want's to get some inspiriation to just follow your dreams or your instincts, then go watch this movie! You really won't regret it, one of my favorite movies of all time! Deserves an Oscar in my book for a wonderful story, that touches you all sorts of places!

This is sure a 10 out of 10 movie! Go watch it and see if you don't think I am right! ;):)

I just saw this movie, and I regret it badly. I hoped for a good nice comedy, that would make me laugh, and give me a nice feeling after watching it.

With this movie I didn't get that. MOST of the jokes was to lame for my taste, and not very fun. As the movie progressed my final grade became lower and lower, almost ended up at 1, which is the lowest grade. The only good thing about the movie was the Knight Rider scene, only because of that, and some SMALL laughs it get's 2 stars instead of 1. Also I wanna point out that the acting in this movie is not very good. Some scenes I find vulgar, and very disturbing. Not fun at all, you kinda wait now here comes the joke, and then there just comes nothing.

If you think about watching this movie, my advice to you is don't watch it.

This is my review of Dan in real life which i've just seen.

The movie was in my eyes very realistic, and I think that is a big plus. I can't recollect that I've seen a movie where I felt that what I saw was real like I did with this movie. The acting was great, Steve Carrol gives the character so much, the awkwardness that he brings to the person in some of the scenes are just great, you feel like it was happening to you, and it probably could, and we are all familiar with the situations which are seen in this movie.

The movie also had some great Hilarious moments. The movie was not made to be all fun, it had a good script, a nice well written story, where you at no time where confused about anything. The plot was straight out, and there was no time you where like oh my god what is happening now. In my opinion was the movie excellent :D:) And I loved the last scene, where he finish it with the best quote, and a really helpful one, which I would try thinking of from time to time in my life, a very good advice. And I think that that the movie had a nice message to send out to everyone, and it did it in a very good and well done way. Last words. I think that especially the connection between Steve Carell and Juliette Binoche was just fantastic. The emotions between them where very realistic and sweet. I rate this movie 9 out of 10, VERY close to a 10

Edit: I bumped it up to 10 after rewatching several times. It's a movie I really like coming back to, so I think it deserves a 10.

Hi everyone out there!...

I have had the pleasure of watching the all new Futurama full length movie, Bender's big score!... I have been a big fan of the series and have watched all the episodes more than once, and I can say already now that I am not disappointed by this full length movie!... The story was extremely well put together, and I think that it really had a big deepness to it. I watched the movie for the second time just now, and I can only say this. Watch the movie a second time, it really helps you understand the movie, and help you put all the pieces together. And it also made me realize how nice the storyline was put together. It really have some nice tweaks because of the time traveling, and it can give you headaches trying to figure out what is going on the first time watching it, but watching it a second time helped me put it all in order, or almost I think... Because time traveling can't really be explained properly.

For me as a fan, I think it is just GREAT to see Futurama BACK in the AIR! :) ... I hope in the future they will make more Futurama, but somehow this also gave a nice ending, also letting you know that Fry was the one for Lela! Very sweet :) You should be aware that there is a change from the movie and the series from how often the funny lines comes. In this full length movie there can be some time without the humor in first place, but it should also be different from the series in that way, it is a full length movie, so it should have a better storyline, and I think it surely does. :) And it also makes, this film more deep than any of the episodes where. So to all who likes Futurama go out and see it, be sure NOT to miss it... :) My grade will be 10, because I can't give 9.8, which I was thinking of ;). so the closest would be 10. close to perfection! :) Thank you for reading!
