Sam Raimi was the abosulute perfect choice in for this film his fingerprints are all over the movie from the horror to the visuals to even the cheesy dialogue for better or for worse this was a Raimi fick through and through This was no End game or Ragnarok or No Way He but a solid addition to the MCU Those expecting a multiverse movie might be disappointed but I was happy with what I got

I appreciate how marvel stuck to the Dr strange movie and made it his own as opposed to making it avengers 5 or whatever it genuinely feels like. A sequel to 2016 Doctor Strange

Messy plot with rushed elements but I ahd a great time even if l of it didn't make sense but that's part of the ride and the Trip

I will say one thing tho, that the marketing for MoM and ESPECIALLY the original teaser is kind of (but kind of not) showing. A different movie for again for better or for worse so don't expect what you think you got from the trailsr

Not on my favorite MCU flick but definitely an ENTERTAINING film it was worth the wait ...just not the way you might have wanted.

Quick review This film is good sometimes bordering on great but the pacing ruins it This movie was great one of the best acting casts of the year but the pacing ruins it all Way too long!! So many unnecessary scenes Predictable but uplifting and emotional in other words your average sports movie I really wanted to rate this a 7.5 but IMDb has no option See it I believe it's important for kids and to see when and how to be independent.

DEH was my intro to modern musical theater and has had such a big impact on my life, so when the movie was announced I was ecstatic and boy it did not let me down

The film was nearly exactly as the stage play with the same mannerisms and even same exact dialouge That's not to say there were changes as there were but that doesn't mean that they were bad

First off it's a little unfair for the movie to be the same as the play because they are 2 different art forms with the play being more theatrical and the film being more stoic and closed up

Anyways the biggest difference in my opinion was the relationship between Zoe and Connor while the show had shown it's moments their relationship was seen as murky distanwith fleshing out Connors backstory and Zoe's independence ow growing up was for the two of them I personally liked this added flair Here in the film they went all out with Connors backstory and Zoe's independence and flair I personally liked it

The elephant in the room is on obviously Ben platts portrayal of Evan Hansen when he clearly out grew the role I tried my best to ignore it and found myself mildly successful but Ben's performance was beyond amazing

The film made me and my brother cry by it's beginning with waving through a window and it's height of the climax at words fail

Overall the flick was more or less the same as the Broadway show so take it or leave it

Anyhoo if you liked the play I'm sure you will love the movie and if you're new to the story I dare you to try it out without andy preconceived notions and openly see it together with a loved one be prepared to being a pack of tissues and just remember...you will be found.

Shang-Chi is definitely not marvel's best film as with most marvel orgin stories but should be a welcome and very likeable character in the MCU

The action was amazing and beautiful choreography The editing was flawless and was shot excellently Simu Liu and Awkwafina presented likeable character The world building

Overall I would say the story started out great and slowly crawled it's way to the finish line

Lebron's acting was ....passable in a passable movie

Don cheadle's role and character arc.....above average in a passable movie

The tunes acting all looney was... better in some parts than others in a passable movie

See the trend here? This movie (like most) doesn't have to be black and white; good or bad.

It can be cute but really pushing in the corporate sponsorship there It can be soulless but yet still have some heart at the end (remeber dialectical!!) To be honest I thought I was gonna hate this movie from the start and I did I actually did but as the film progressed and the characters were given more time to shine especially in an important scene that required emotions I thought it wasn't good neither bad just.... Passable

To say it was better then the original is a battle you will never win because it remains such a memorable piece of nostalgia so it's really silly to fight over it

Does this movie redeem the Looney tunes to their former glory .... absolutely not

But to the younger generation it just might be (Dialectics!!)

It's rare that a movie gets me thinking so much after the film like joker did Everything in this movie was perfect, not good not mediocre but absolutely perfect!

This film will stand the test of time even in the comic genre.

The score was extremely haunting

The movie was a feast on the eyes and I'm soooo jealous of the screenwriters their talent to present a moment, any moment in the movie is amazing.

Overall the movie is about how one bad day with the right circumstances can lead to one chaotic person.

GOSH I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!

Man it definitely is hard for Pixar to follow up after onward and soul so when I saw luca I had high expectations.

Then I realized that this movie was not made to be like other Pixar greats it was made to show the beauty of life, youth, friendships and what a magical summer can do There was no big twist no big arching plot just a simple story about 2 somewhat simple boys and the meaning of family and relationships

That being said I was quite disappointed with the results mostly because of the ridiculously high bar Pixar has set but after some time I realized that I was on the verge of tears at the last scene so yes even though the plot may be limited the villain may be stupid or heck they maybe could've done alot more with the material it doesn't matter cause once again it wasn't made for that it was made to enjoy after a nice long day with a loved one by your side and embrace the simpleness It may not be a pixar classic but in some ways MAY be a pixar classic.

Good film in which Emma Thompson soars and provides an excellent character as well as Emma stone soars I enjoyed my time at the theater but wouldn't have loved it if I watched it on my phone per se The plot is very advanced especially for a Disney flick and there's something different about it then other Disney live action remakes it's darker for sure has less laughs and overall more adultish.

The costume design is beyond stunning but even so this movie had an mediocre plot with only 2 really good actors but in the end lived up to the hype (though the bar is not that high)

In my opinion this is the best Disney live action remake to date.

While certainly not reinventing the wheel in any matter dream horse is an unqiue film that manages to paralell laughter and tears and certainly earns it (as opposed to forcing it down your throat) I must say ALL the actors did a darn good job but obviously Toni Collette steals the show It's a feel good flick and something we need these days Does every movie has to be citizen Kane worthy?

Gosh honestly where to begin I wouldn't be so angry if it didn't have such a great premise and plot design.

Well....um.....the simple answer is yes While it certainly a unique showcase the actual STORY lacked any execution and lacked any climax When the movie was over to say I was disappointed is an understatement I was ENRAGED!!

This flick stole 2 hours of my life that I will never get back It's not character development that's bad in fact that's the only good thing about it I repeat ONLY good thing It's the execution and how they went about the STORY If you're looking for something to watch oi highly recommend something else

Do yourself a favor and watch this genius movie with extreme heart and insanely creative humor and beautiful never before seen animation!

Only reason not a 10 is because of its plot building and acension and it's journey structurally . That's normally a major flaw in any flick but the mitchell's vs the machines is an exception cause of.... Well.... It's frikin amazing!!! See it with your family or friends trust me you won't regret it.

Raya and the last dragon is a great family film with beautiful visuals superb acting and a very good storyline that if it wasnt disney couldve been amazing let me clarify rhats not to say Disney makes bad movies its just that they make very FOTMULATIC movis but the system works if this was live a ction and free of the Disney formula it would have been amazing! Great world building and storylines and possible outcome

. But that doesnt take away from the beauty if it the film is heartwarming and cute see it on disney plus its worth the $$ or go with the family or friends to theater for the first time in a year (at least in ny where i live)

Liam Neeson man what could I say the dude is a legend! Almost 70 and hes still churning out great films! The marksman is a story cinema has told many many times but for some reason THIS time feels a little different. Well to start with Neeson does an incredible job portraying a lone soldier trying to find something to spark the few moments his character has in his life The child portraying Miguel isnt perfect but hes better than me so theres that The villains are your avsrage pack of goons trying to kill the protagonists. But the gist of this movie is not the beging nor the ending. Its the JOURNEY Traveling across america with a mission in mind to get Miguel his family. Theres heart and heart breaks Theres showing portraying of what is the meaning of life Theres great cinematographiy Listen its not a perfect movie but who says you need one to enjoy a night out Definitely surpassed my expectations by a mile

Im a super mega uber pixar nerd with too much memomibrilla and clothing to express mt love for the studio. So when the most of the entire decade of 2010 was cinematic trash i cried myself to sleep after every watch. Crappy sequel after crappy sequel and even its lone bright spot coco I thought that Pixar will never fine its footing again. Well 2020 may have been one of the worst years of all time but pixar ended it with a bang! Soul is not only funny but entirely mind blowing at its end showing us what truly is the purpose of life. I watches it with my grandma and thisbis NOT a movie for kids not for anything inappropriate just because the plot and its themes are incredibly deep i found myself juggling the trail of the story and trying to followit and ultimately understand its message. Pete docter has proven himself to be the leader of pixar going forward after this film. It is funny it is heartwarming it has plot twists it has drama it has emotional moments it has relationships it has an amazing so soundtrack it has beautiful animation it has representation it has EVERYTHING (The only reason im rating this a 9 and not a 10 is because of the movie is too good for itself it is too artsy and not very contemporary But it that does not take anytbimg away from the film itself it just is a personal nitpick and an example of the bigger they are the harder they fall. Unpopular opinion but I think onward is the better Pixar flick of 2020 but that is only because it is more contemporary anyways BELEIVE THE HYPE GET DISNEY PLUS AND GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!

How in the world did they call this a thriller this is the most boring lifeless movie that tries to pull at your heartstrings but only makes things worse with its one extermely simple and BORING plot im actually writing this in the theater as I speak waiting for my uber to come pick me up and....oh gotta go to sum this up in 5 words DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

Listen to be honest I had very low expectations for this indie flick and it slightly excedded them. Good action decent acting prediciable plot what more can I say.. But for a guy who hasnt gone to the theaters in almost a year (!) this will do fine Stay safe!

First off im a HUGE theater nerd im lucky to live in NYC ("the greaest city in the world") and ive seen a pelothra of broadway shows. (obviously hamilton tops the list) When ive heard they were going to make a film of the live staging i couldnt wait till 2021 (thanks disney!) Ive seen the show live although not with its original cast and let me be the first to say THIS SHOW TOPS THE CURRENT BROADWAY VERSION. the production crew is flawless making us the viewer see emotions and angles you weren't able to see live besides the fact that the orignal cast KICKS any other form of hamilton. You see Lin manuel miranda and leslie odom jr's literal tears as they were acting! I honestly say that i enjoyed this filmed version of the show than the current broadway show. 10 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While the way back wil proboly be looked back upon one of ben affleck's greatest performances (serioulsy this dude is talented!) the story, script, other acting, and everything else in this movie SUCKS!!! The way back calls itself a basketball film but it hardly shows anything about its players and their coneections. simply put it is just a bunch of guys playing basketball, we know they they are the protagonists so thats why we go for them but other than that we dont feel for them or care for them thus making them a group of very bland one sided characters. half the movie shows ben drinking with consequences only later shown. The movie is slow, boring and uncharsimatic.this is not to say the movie was bad, if the film was just without the useless basketball and mainly focused on a mans deepward spiral into addiction (which by the way also hardly shows then this would have been a decent movie. but just to repeat myself this is proboly ben affleck's greatsest performance

While not exactly redefining the wheel (which we've come to expect from pixar films) onward is powerful and so clever that it does in its own unique way. The story revolves around two brothers for the whole 2 hours, showing their ups and downs which makes two elf brothers seem very real. Obviously the movie can't just have a good message, it needs to be a good movie! Dont worry cause pixar will take you on roller coaster of a ride and still do it on a great place. The world building is something, and the wit consistently made me smile. But the best part of it had to be the cleverness of the movie, I cant say how they did it without spoiling the movie. Bottom line expect a kids movie aimed at adults and watch with a loved one (and a pack of tissues)

Spies in disguise is just a big mix of things you've seen a million times in any other kids movie. The hero doesn't like to play with a team. The underdog nerdy scientist. The cliche boring bad guy. Nothing was screaming originality for me except for the whole pigoen spy thing (which was the only reason I saw it)

That said this movie could have been a whole differentl ballgame if the writers actually cared and given us a better plot and more in depth characters. Not that your kids would mine of course. I went with my grandmother and she loved it. But if you like creative filmmaking and hate or strongly dislike mediocre movies I would advise to stay away

There's really nothing for me to add on that others hadn't already said. This film was made for cash and merchandise so I didn't expect much. But you would think 6 years is a long time to think of even a bit of a story, but there's nothing there, besides exposition and fluff to distract you from this mediocre movie.

I literally almost fell asleep at this movie. Sure this movie has heart and Tom Hanks and Matthew Rhys are incredible at their roles but that doesn't take away from this all out snoozefest. The speaking is all monotone and the pace is slower than a turtle. My grandma said it best "there's nothing happening in this movie" and why Matthew Rhy's character has bunny ears, (yes that you read that right) I don't know but that's just another reason to skip this movie. But if you loved mr Rogers growing up or want to see a movie with a message of the power of love and forgiveness and in today's harsh world go ahead give it a try and see this movie. If you dare...

Excellent well made movie overall and bale is abnormally amazing delivering an Oscar winning performance but the ending is cruel and unforgiving I can't give away the rest due to spoilers, of course that doesn't take away from how the rest of the film is, overall some serious eyecandy

What do you want me to say Harriet is just an average movie nothing amazing or special about itexcept for times when the filmmaking is spot on and emotional. Sure there may be some strange supernatural parts or African American villains but that doesn't take away from the movie (or dare i say it history) If you like drama and history have a fun time and watch this movie Although it's mostly about Harriet and how she saved her family and not necessarily about how she operated the underground railroad

Either way the movie was well made and kept me interested!
