Today is Galactica's 40th Birthday! Glen A. Larson's Battlestar Galactica turns 40 on 17 September 2018. We fans of Star Wars ate this up for its 1 season. It had its share of accolades with several nominations and was a Winner of a People's Choice Award. Sadly the ratings were poor, and it was too expensive to make.
