The first "Monster of the week" episode. Doug Hutchenson with Kick Green eye lenses (well...Green on our TV screen). For the life of me, I always thought this was the 4th or 5th episode in for some reason. The monologue from Det. Briggs really puts the edge on this tale.

Director: Pat Boyette | Stars: Russ Harvey, Helen Hogan, William McNulty, Michele Buquor

Pat Boyette's attempt at making a horror movie is greatly hindered by actors who just show up on screen and deliver lines of a complex nature in a real monotone voice to the point that the other two actors who trying to act with the monotones simply bounce off of them like a ball bouncing off a wall. It was so sad that I turned it off midway. Rather to leave the protagonist on the bloody island then have him escape to infect the colonies with severe boredom.

The most quietest alien invasion movie I've ever seen. Character development was great, but it seemed the aliens were in the background.

The film is alright. It's kinda hard watching 20 year olds act like adolescents. It also doesn't help that Sam Katzman was producing this. You can just smell his cost cutting effects.

This is the first adaptation of Donovan's Brain. It moves well in the beginning but trails at the end, not knowing what it wants to do with the characters once the goals are already met. It's a good movie to have as a sort of goal post of 50's sci fi.
