Cyrax Bit dissapointed that he didnt use a South African accent as Cyrax is born and raised in Botswana. Tesfay is not South African but he is of Eritrean origin which is East African. He is also a superb martial artist and stunt man.

Kano (R.I.P) Reprising the role. unfortunately this Legend has pass away. Shah Darren Majian Lavi can not return for Kano.

Kano (Recast) Apparently Kano is Australian, so it makes sense for an australian martial arts stunt man to take the role.

Reptile Park is a British Stunt man and Martial Artist whose role as Toad makes me think he should do Reptile.

Queen Swindel Quon is an East Asian stunt woman who needs to take the role of Swindel.

Baraka Baraka practices Silat in one of the MK games so Rahman is my choice for the character. Also South Asian and south East Asian character and martial arts are heavily ignored by Fighting Games. So an actor from the raid series has to show up as Baraka. In addition Baraka's name is Arabic for Praised. In other languages (for Example my Family know Sylheti) Baraka is recognise as a loan word for Praised. Baraka is also a name used by many Muslims and Iko Uwais is a Muslim aswell. Interestingly Baraka's Tarkartan Blades are very similar to the Pata (Gaunlet Sword) a weapon brought to South Asia by the Muslim Mughals.

Ashrah Ashrah's name is Arabic for Ten. Ebadi is of Iranian descent and is a talent stunt woman. So she is very close to Ashrah.

Tanya Tate is a beautiful black, stunt woman who I would cast for Tanya. She returned in MKX looking more like Cleopatra in Green rather than an African Woman in Yellow. Not Sure why but it is great to see her return.

Jade Jade in MK is dark skinned (darker than Kitana but lighter than Tanya) She is described as "Asianesque" is appearance so I would presume she is West, South or South East Asian. Bhambree is of Sout Asian origin and is a talented stunt woman. It is possible that Jade's martial art is slightly based on Eskrima, Silambam or Lathi Khela. But in the games her fighting styles are referred to as Fan Zi and Kuo Shou.

Kobra It's suprising how much Kobra looks like Ken Masters

Rain No not as himself. Rain as the character Rain. Just a happy coincident.

Kurtis Striker originally I had Rueben Langdon for Stryker, but I did feel that Langdon was a bit over qualified and for a character like Striker an acrobatic martial artist is not necessary. Ryan Phillippe is an American actor and taekwondo martial artist.. With darker hair he suits Stryker in terms of age and physique.

Tomas Vrbada AKA Smoke Daniel Bodlak is a Czech martial artist and stunt man. I found out that Smoke is of Czech descent on the MK Wiki.

Skarlet Im not sure what it is. But Red Heads are hot and I personally would love to see Fisk as the lethal Blood Thirsty Skarlet

Mavado Dasz is of Spanish, Italian and Argentinian descent. He is a capable martial artist and stunt man. I chose him for Mavado because Mavado's name is based on the Spanish/Portuguese word: Malvado meaning Evil Man/Person.

Kabal Originally I had Umar Khan as Kabal for this list because I couldn't find anyone closer. Khan is a great martial artist and stunt man but now I've found someone closer to Kabal. Elkest is of Egyptian descent and Kabal's name is Arabic for Fortress. Also Kabal's hooked blades are very similar to Egyptian blades used in Ancient Tahtib.

Nightwolf Booboo Stewart was my choice for nightwolf because he was one of the only few martial art actors I've seen that are native Americans. However I recently remembered Jay Tavare is a Native American martial artist and stunt man. He is acrobatic and I feel that he was unfortunate to play Vega in the 1994 street fighter but nightwolf may be another way to redeem himself.

Sonya Blade With the introduction of Cassie Cage, I realised that my actress for Sonya and Johnny had a very large age gap so I've now gotten someone closer to Matt Mullins physical age.

Cassie Cage Needed a young blonde stunt woman for Cassie since her introduction to MKX.

D'Vorah D'veroh is the Queen Bee lady from MKX. Her name is a common middle-eastern/West Asian name used by Jews and Muslims. In Hebrew it means Bee and in Arabic it means Hive. I felt that Algerian Dancer Boutella would be suitable considering the background of D'Vorah's name and the fact that Bees apparently communicate with each other by "Dancing".

Kintaro Dalip Singh being a 7'1" tall wrestler would be great for the character. I felt the Tiger look of the guy kinda reminded of the Bengal Tiger so I thought *beep* it. Kintaro is a south Asian Shokan.

Goro We all know that Goro is the original four armed monster of MK. I feel that ever since I saw Nathan Jones in Tom-Yum-Goong I thought that with an extra pair of arms he'd kinda look like Goro.

Sheeva I'm hoping Holden isn't too old for this character. Considering that Sheeva is tall and dark skinned I think 6' tall and black beauty Marjean Holden can bring this iconic Amazonian Shoken Warrioress to life.

Torr Tall muscular Canadian actor Daniel Cudmore is who I'd definitely cast for Torr. The new MKX character is not alone tho.

Ferra Grace Bruce is a 5'1" tall British stunt woman and martial artist. I feel her small statue would make life a lot easier for her and Cudmore to work together.

Bo Rai Cho Sammo Hung may not be the fattest east asian out there. But he has acted in plenty of Martial Arts films and plus he does look the role facially.

Shao Kahn Due to the origin of his surname I always imagined Shao Kahn to be Asian (specifically mongolian). Kimko is actually half korean and hald caucasian. He knows Kung-fu and several other martial arts. Shao Kahn practices Dai Tzi and Leu Wei (might have spelt those wrong)

Kotal Kahn. He and Mileena start a civil war in Outworld over the title of Kahn/Kahnum of Outworld. Kotal Kahn is based on Aztec gods and looks remarkably similar to Ogre in Tekken. Khotan is a Mexican actor who is 6'2" tall which should work for the Kahn as it matches Kimko's height. Is also is fluent in English, Spanish and Portugese.

Shinnok. I personally saw Shinnok as Japanese as his name sounds like it. I felt Hal was suited for the role due to his age and the fact he is capable at imitating martial arts movements and has had growing experience in Martial arts. He also knows his way around portraying evil villains.

Suchin Mother of Takahashi Takeda and lover of Kenshi. Suchin rasied Takeda with her mother and without Kenshi aware of his son's existence. She was killed by Red Dragon assassin's who were after Kenshi. She was skilled enough to kill three of them with ease before being gun down. She is of Thai descent so a female Thai martial arts actress like Yanin is perfect for the role.

Takahashi Takeda. Reprising the role. In Mortal Kombat X Takeda is one of the most mix raced characters. He is a quarter Caucasian, quarter Japanese through Kenshi and half Thai through Suchin. Stewart is a skilled martial arts actor and martial artist himself. He is also very mixed race, His mother is a mix of East Asian ethnicities (Chinese, Japanese and Korean) and is Father is half Blackfoot (Half Native American) and one quarter Russian one quarter Scottish (Half White). This makes Stewart Half East Asian, Quarter Caucasian (1/8 Russian 1/8 Scottish) and quarter Blackfoot.

Kung Jin The younger cousin of Kung Lao. I heard Lewis Tan earned the role but I felt Soo Hoo is more suitable because he is of Chinese descent and is younger. Lewis tan is also 6'2" tall which would mean Jin is about the same height as Kotal Kahn. Zhenwei Wang was another possible choice but I felt Soo Hoo's sharp facial features and slightly broad nose resembled Jin whilst Wang has a more rounded face.

Quan-Chi I felt that Quan Chi had to be played by an East Asian since his name sounds like it originates from that region. James Lew is an East Asian stunt man and martial arts actor who suits this role.

Sareena. I have no clue what Sareena is supposed to look like ethnically. If the name Sareena is derived from Sarah which is West Asian then that could be the origin. However I've always wanted to have Facchinello for a martial arts role and I feel she could pull off Sareena.

Li Mei Lauren Mary Kim is an American martial arts stunt woman who I think is of mixed Korean and Caucasian descent. I feel she could play a convincing Li Mei.

Frost Another member of Thousand Pounds stunt team. Anna Ranoso had appeared in many YouTube videos with her colleague and rival Amy Johnston. She has impressed me and I feel she deserved a mention on one of my lists.

Tremor Tremor has been released on MKX as dlc character and the one thing that stood out was his height. He towers over his fellow "ninjas" so a tall martial arts actor like Zaror would be perfect. In addition, Tremor's style of using Rocks/Earth products kinda reminds me of an exaggeration of Tinku. A Bolivian martial art that uses Rocks to greater increase the force of a punch. So a South American actor is also fitting.

Havik Andrew Tinio had suggested I find an actor for Havik. When researching into Havik I found that his Snake style Kung-Fu immediately reminded me of Azim Rizk. Azim is an American actor famous for player Black/Green ranger: Jake in Power Rangers Megaforce. In the Intro of Megaforce Jake (Azim Rizk) is seen practicing Snake style Kung-Fu because when training under Jungle Fury Red Ranger Cassie he was told he possesses the Snake Spirit. Azim himself is actually a stunt man who is well talented in Parkour and martial arts. I wouldn't be surprised if he actually learnt Snake Style Kung-Fu.

Fujin Ally of Raiden and God of the Wind. Fujin appears as one of the none playable characters in MKX and I feel Shogen from Assassin's Fist should go for this role. He is skilled in Karate, has long hair and is at least 6' tall which should match up to McInnis.

Jacqui Briggs I had trouble finding a young Black actress who was skilled in Martial Arts and is capable of doing her own stunts. Lauren Okadigbo is a martial arts actress, model, dancer and stunt woman. She is of Nigerian and Finnish descent so she could get away with an African American. She is also 5'7" and in her late twenties so she should match up to Booboo Stewart. For more info on her here is a link: *beep*

Erron Black Erron Black is mysterious cowboy character who works for Kotal Kahn. he is considered to one of the most dangerous warriors. Whilst he does look like a character Clint Eastwood would portray. I wanted an american martial artist. Rowe played Deadshot in Arrow so it seems like if Neatherrealm ever to MK v DC again. I can see Black vs Deadshot
