Far Cry Live Action Fan Cast

Jack Carver/ The Jackal Jack Carver is the main character of the first game. He is a former US special forces soldier. He is ends up working as a freelance boat charter which leads him get hired by a reporter who needs to go to an island. It is rumoured that Jack is the Jackal in Far Cry 2. I believe Jake looks very much like the character, having dark hair, similar build and bing american.

Valerie Constantine The reporter who hires Jack wanted to investigate the island which was once occupied by the Japanese during WWII. I would have Morena Baccarin for Val as they are both beautiful american brunnes.

Richard Crowe Crowe is a mercenary hired to by DR Kreiger to guard the island from outsiders. Judging by his rugged muscularity, I'd definitely have Hugh Jackman for this role.

Harland Doyle I'm a bit confused whether Doyle is Black or White because the far cry wiki shows two photos of this guy. I would assume he is supposed to be Black but his skin is kinda fair. I think Howard looks very much like the character.

Dr. Kreiger Udo Kier was born in Germany so I would expect him to be accurate for the stereotypical German scientist Kreiger.

Reuben Oluwagembi Adewale is a British Nigerian actor. I feel because of his heritage he should play as Reuben who is also Nigerian. His accent will also be realistic.

Addi Mbantuwe Initally I thought Addi was supposed to be Somali because his name looked similar to Abdi which is generally a common Somali name. I think Barkhad who is only an inch shorter than the charcter and is of Somali descent can pull off a realistic portrayal.

Oliver Tambossa Ali's role as Mombassa in Predators shows to me that African-Americans can do native African accents.

Prosper Kouassi I saw Campbell as Ndale in Waterloo Road, a Malawi expariate to Britian. He pulled off a brilliant accent and he look young enough for the role. He is a British Eritrean actor.

Paul Ferenc Paul is a Hungarian Israeli. Fehr is an Isreali actor of mixed Isrealis Jewish and some European descent which makes him suitable for the character. He is a bit tall being 2 inches taller but isn't much of an issue in my opinion.

Andre Hyppolite Andre is of Haitian descent so I makes sense to have Haitian actor Charles for the role.

Warren Clyde Jensen Ackles is a bit short as Clyde is 6'3" and Ackles is about 6'2" but there is striking resembalance between the two off them.

Josip Idromeno Rade Serbedzija is the Albanian guy from Taken 2. Because of that role he suits the character Josip who is a Albanian.

Xianyong Bai Jean-Paul Ly is well known French-Chinese actor, Martial Artist and Stunt man. I feel that he should do more than just stunt doubling and that he suits Bai as both are short young Chinese men with a tan and athletic potential.

Quarbani Singh A Punjabi Mauritian who serves as an ally or playable character. I felt a Sikh actor would be the best choice since Singh is a Sikh himself.

Hakim Echebbi French-Algerian actor Tahar Rahim is well known in France and oversees for many performances and is fluency in multiple languages. Echebbi is an Algerian Navy soldier and I feel Tahr is perfectly suited to this role.

Marty Alencar Brazilian soldier alencar is about 5'10" and is seemingly either of White/Pardo descent. Pardo meaning Mixed Raced. I thought an actual Brazilian actor would fit the role.

Frank Bilders The Irish Hooligan was known for being a notorious Vandal and rioter before joining the IRA. I feel that a real Irish actor like Jason O'mara could pull off a realistic Irish badman.

Flora Guillen An Angolan girl from Cuba. She is an ally character in Far Cry 2 and generally is very cynical to others. I Dania Ramirez's role as Callisto in X-men kinda gave a good impression that she could play this character despite being Dominican.

Nasreen Davar Not the easiest character to cast as Davar is a 5'4" Tajik female soldier. Alam is from Central Asian aswell but she is 5'10" and from Uzbekistan.

Michele Dachss Bit difficult trying to find a French actress for Dachss as she is apparently 35 despite her youthful look. I felt that Marion can dye her hair blonde to reswemble the character since there is a slight similarity in the facial features.

Jason Brody Grant Gustin is 6'2", quite slim and young so he kinda fits the look of Jason. Also Jason is one of the few Far Cry characters that initially is incapable of wielding a firearm.

Riley Brody Younger brother of Jason. I felt that when I first saw Riley he reminded me of Dane from the Amazing Spiderman films. Probably becasue of his height and young appearence.

Citra Talugmai Citra ethnicity is presumably ambiguous. However her name is a common and traditional name in Indonesia and Malaysia. It is likely she is SouthEast Asian Descent. So I felt Indonesian actress Sicily should go for this role.

Dr Alec Earnhardt something about Walton looks remakably similare to Dr Alec. Albeit Walton may be bit younger.

Grant Brody Grant is the older borther of Jason and former member of the US military. I can see a similarity between Chris and Grant so I thought why not.

Ajay Ghale aka AJ Gale Ajay is a Karati American. So a South Asian American actor would be suitable for this character. Sendhil is nearly 5'10" and is has similar features to Ajay. Whilst Sendhil is actually Indian American, Ajay Ghale is Kirati American (Kirati being a Nepalese ethnicity). Funnily enough the Asian characters refer to him as Ah-Jay Gha-Le, but he and non-Asian characters always refers to him as Ay-Jay Gail.

Pagan Min Pagan Min is the main antagonist of Far Cry 4. I personally consider him as an evil tyrant but not an antagonist to Ajay as he is kinda safe to him. Tom Wu is a British Chinese actor who is 5'11" and is well experienced in action films. Ironically Min is British Chinese and Ajay is Karati American however in British the term Asian refers to South Asians and East Asians as generally described as Oriental. In USA Asian refers to East Asians and South Asians are described as Desi. So neither Min or Ghale would be described as Asians in informal contexts in their National countries (Britian and USA respectively).

Amita One of the allies of Ajay Ghale. She believes in modernising Kirat. Amrita is of half Nepalese, half Ukrainian descent. which fits because most of the Kiratis are Nepalese.

Sabal Another ally of Ajay Ghale. He is the opposite of Amrita as he wishes to preserve the traditional culture of Kirat. Shaan Rahman is a Bangladeshi Canadian actor and martial artist. Noore Najjar British/Canadian actress of asian descent. Karen David was born in the foothills of the Himalayas to the Khasi tribe. This make her very suitable for a Himalayan woman.

Yuma Lau Ally of Pagan Min and his adoptive Sister. She hate Ajay's mother Ishwari because she blaims her for making Pagan weak. Therefore she is an enemy to Ajay.

Bhadra A young girl who is also an ally to Ajay Ghale. She is generally very adventerous and is presumed to be the new Tarun Matara, the real life incarnation of the Bride of Banashur from Kyrat mythology. Anjli is a British Indian actress. She may not be a teen anymore but she could still play this character.

Vaas Montenegro I felt it would be best to have a latino actor for this latino psycho.
