Let's start off with the best and most heartbreaking scene. Bodie stands his ground and takes on Chris and Snoop. Unlike everyone we've seen Chris and Snoop kill Bodie stands his ground and in the end he ends up another body but he ends up being a body in the street with a name instead of a faceless decomposed corpse in a vacant. "You ain't puttin me up in one of them empty ass houses neither" Bodie fights Chris and Snoop diagonally like a pawn. Snoop and Chris move in diagonally like knights. O Dog moves in forward and left like a knight and kills Bodie. "Bodie c'mon man."- Poot The cinematography in this scene is on point and it's on point throughout this entire episode. I'm a big fan of that green lighting they choose for some of the night scenes. Bodie's reaction to Lil Kevin's body getting carried out and him smashing the car's window. McNulty's reaction to Bodie's death and deciding to return to his original job for Bodie. McNulty and Bodie's talk. I feel old. I been out there since I was 13. I ain't never fucked up a count, never stole off a package, never did some shit that I wasn't told to do. I've been straight up. But what come back? You think if I get jumped up on some shit they'd be like "All right, yeah. Bodie been there. Bodie hang though. We got his pay lawyer we got bail. They ant me to stand with them right? But where the fuck they at when they supposed to be standing by us. I mean when shit goes bad and there's hell to pay, where they at? This game is rigged man. We like the little bitches on the chess board." Bodie, a young man too old for his work. Bubbles trying to hang himself was heartbreaking and Landsman ignoring the numbers game and letting him go really adds to his character. Landsman's reactions to Bubbles and Zig's murder story shows the difference between people like him and people like rawls. Kima looks out for Bubbles and brings that guy from season one to him. Bubbles sees him and immediately starts crying and collapsing. Such a sad scene. This entire episode is just sad scense after sad scenes. All of the vacants being emptied out and everyone being rallied out including the suspended Herc in order to grab all of these bodies. The bodies filling up the school. "I went to school here back in the day. Got a decent education now that I think on it." Chris and Snoop getting caught with a gun through Greggs investigating their car and finding their insane hiding spot. Omar and his crew splitting up the drugs. Omar saying goodbye to Kimmy. Omar asking Butchie what he's gonna do with all of this drugs and Butchie jokingly saying sell it back to him. Omar realizing that might just work. Omar getting his fixed clock back from Prop Joe. Omar smiling outside the glass window and walking straight into Prop Joe's shop after robbing him. Prop Joe refusing to give up Cheese to Marlo. Ironic given the event in season 5. Carcetti sells his soul and becomes like any other politican. His career before his people. The cycle continues. Dukie giving Prez the gift for his desk and then leaving. Prez follows him onto to find Dukie on the corner because he wasn't ready for high school. Bunny's group getting disbanded and Bunny leaving the research presentation. We see that the kids in Bunny's group has actually improved are less disruptive. Cutty in the hospital and Colvin meeting him. Colvin meeting with WeeBey! and talking about how Weebey can succeed just not on the street. Weebey's talk with Namond's mother. The last shot of Naymond being in a nice neighborhood with Colvin and his wife and noticing his car jacking friend stealing a car. Namond left the streets but the streets will always be with him. "But you gonna let go of that boy." Carver trying everything to get Randy to a foster parent even trying to take in Randy himself. Randy sleeping in Carver's office. Carver fails and has to drop Randy off at a group home. "It's okay." "what?" "You tried. You don't need to fall bad." Even after all of that Randy still understands Carver tries. That last shot of Randy getting jumped was heartbreaking. Randy's likely to not end up in the game due to his reputation of being a snitch and will probably jump from foster home to foster home. His life is ruined and the spark within him has died so he'll no longer be the entrepreneur he once was. He could have gone far but the system wouldn't let him. Michael is running with Marlo, Snoop, and Chris now. All three of them go to Michael's house and Marlo realizes Michael has the ring but let's him keep it. Michael commits first murder. "No matter who he is or what he's done you look at him right in the eye."- Chris Partlow. The ending montage is amazing as always. That shot of the gun being thrown in the storm drain and the car driving off was amazing. Carver looking at the wall with the names of all of the kids was one of the saddest scenes in the entire series. Namond wins. Dukie looses. Michael looses. Randy looses. The cycle continues.

The first time I watched the ending of this episode I knew this show had entered greatest of all time territory. Let's start off with the best scene in the episode which is really between Stringer getting gunned down and the rooftop talk. My personal favorite scene is the ending with Omar and Brother Mouzone cornering and gunning down Stringer. In order to stay in the game the queen is given away and cornered by a knight and a bishop. Only the wire would make me feel bad for a character who I despised so much in season 1 for what he did too Wallace. "It seem like I can't say nothing to change yall minds... Well get on it motherf!..." Second best scene is the rooftop scene with them reminiscing about the past and hug each other knowing that they are betrayed each other. Stringer knowing that there's a chance the charge on Avon might have him end up being in jail for life instead of just violating his parole as he intended and Avon knowing that Stringer will get got at that meeting. They share their memory of Stringer stealing a Badminton set despite the fact that they didn't have a yard. Stringer always aspiring to get more. "We ain't gotta dream no more man." Stringer meeting Bunny paralleling Mouzone confronting Avon and Avon giving up Stringer was great. "Look like you and me both trying to make sense of this game"- Stringer to Bunny "If there's a way, I mean if my man..."- Avon to Mouzone. Bunny showing Carcetti the good and bad things about Hamsterdam was great. Seeing the new town meeting scene paralleling the scene earlier in the season was great. McNulty leaving that politician lady at the restaurant was great after realizing that she was just using him to get information on Hamsterdam. The opening scene with the almost western like standoff between Omar and Mouzone is one of my favorite scenes and is one of the scenes I revisit the most. Stringer realizing that he's been fucked over by Clay Davis after talking to the lawyer was great. Stringer slowly unraveling and breaking pencils, smashing the desks, and throwing the files off the table was great. Stringers talk with Avon and Slim Charles about trying to gun down a politician was also a fantastic scene. "You need a Day of the Jackal type motherfucker for that shit, not a rubble tumble niggah like Slim." "That niggah took our money man" "I seen it coming." "Well he got to go" "You a fucking businessman. Handle it like that. You don't wanna get all gangster wild with it and shit right?" Stringer is caught on the phone talking about two hitters which means that Stringer was going to assasssinate Clay Davis. His obsession with trying to leave the game to become a business man and ignore his roots was his downfall. The cops getting Stringer through the tap and cheering was great but also kinda sad given that Stringer gets gunned down moments later in the episode. Cutty boxing and helping the kids throughout the episode was great and helped lighten the mood of the episode. Brother Mouzone and Omar Little gun down Stringer Bell and the camera moves up to the sign reading B&B Enterprises. Perhaps this might be the greatest episode in the Wire and it is for sure one of the greatest episodes in television history. It's episodes like these that prove that The Wire just maybe might be the greatest the show of all time.

Absolutely amazing finale. Everyone's reaction to Mcnulty and Lester's insane stunt. Because so many people are at fault and there's so much shit on each other that they will all go down destroying half of the department along with McNulty which means McNulty and Lester loose their jobs but do not go to prison. Rhonda and Levy's talk where they both know they have shit on each other so they make a negotiate leaving Marlo free and everyone else screwed. But the catch is that Marlo is forced to leave the game and if they even get a scent he is done for and he goes to jail. The team behind The Wire is genius and gives Marlo the perfect ending. He is in his own personal hell. He pretends like he's fine with being a business man and is forced to sell his connect, but at a very wealthy price. He gets Stringer ending but the thing is that he's Avon. He's a soldier and he wants his corners but he can't have them. He leaves the business meeting to flex his muscle a little and takes a corner all by himself from two people. He's cut showing that he's vulnerable now. He gave up the crown and he's lost his protection. Also those two guys he takes on don't even recognize but prior to his arrival they are talking about the mystery behind Omar's death making up the most outlandish tales. Omar lives on a legend in the street and Marlo is already being forgotten, his legacy on the streets is not enough to leave a mark. Omar the man Marlo hated the most got what Marlo wanted. McNulty's talk with Templeton was so great I can't even put it into words. Templeton is shown the truth behind it all, the most insane story he's ever heard that he can never tell because he's stuck in his own web of lies. Michael and his screw learn of Snoop's death and agree Michael has go to go except for Chris. Chris believes Michael only killed Snoop because he found out they were going at him. Marlo tells him to get his head straight trying to make Chris believe that Michael is the snitch. Chris Partlow takes the hit for the all of the murders and ends up in the prison and in one of the coolest shots in the show he's hanging out with Weebey. The amount of bodies on those two guys alone must be insane. McNulty's killings inspire a copycat and McNulty finds out who it is right away. He arrests the mentally ill card guy from prior and even though he only committed two murders he takes the fall and is labeled the killer behind it all. PREZZZ!!!!! It looks like Prez has finally gotten hold of the teaching thing and kids are respecting him now. He's got a grown out beard and everything. Prez returns and Dukie goes to him to ask for money. Prez is obviously suspicious and tells him that next week he'll go to that school and check if Dukie is in. If he's in it'll be great but if he's not he can never go to Prez ever again. Dukie takes his money and burns his bridge with Prez. In probably the most heartbreaking shot in the entire series Dukie is seen shooting up and becoming an addict which completes his transition into becoming the next Bubbles. Bubbles on the other hand get's his story printed on the first page of the newspaper and in probably the most uplifting shot of the entire series he walks up those stairs and joins his sister for dinner. Bubbles wins. Daniels is asked to juke the stats but he could get back at them by exposing the McNulty situation but it would bring a lot of people down including Rhonda. Daniels gives up his police job but not before getting to congratulate all of the new people getting promotions including Carver. Carver gets promoted and Herc is even there to congratulate him saying he's proud of him. Herc is making a ton of money including enough to pay for some of his cop buddy's drinks. Herc and Carver win. Cheese makes a huge speech holding a gun to Fat Face Rick's head only for SLIM CHARLES!!! to shoot him right in the head. "That was for Joe."- Slim Charles. Slim is last seen with Fat Face Rick talking to the Greeks meaning that Slim Charles was the pawn that made it across the board. Carcetti is elected governer, Campbell becomes mayor, Valchek replaces Daniels, Pearlman is a judge, and Daniels is a lawyer and is dealing with a case where Rhonda Pearlman is the judge where they smile to each other across the court room. Spider runs his crew on Bodie's old corner. Michael becomes the new Omar and robs Vinson. "You just a boy." "That's just a leg."- Michael. Templeton wins the Pulitzer award while Gus and Alma get demoted. Kenard get's arrested presumably for Omar's murder. McNulty and Beadie get a happy ending as Beadie lays her head on his shoulder signifying that she is accepting and forgiving him. McNulty's "funeral" was a fantastic scene. Landsman crying after giving his speech about McNulty and everyone making jokes was hilarious. Lester arriving and McNulty making gay jokes was hilarious. McNulty pretending to be dead on the pool table. The Body of An American playing is always great. "I'm a freeborn man of the USA!" It was also heartwarming to see Lester and McNulty hold no grudge towards Kima after she admits she was the one that turned them in. They understand and think that she had to do what she had to do. Lester and Kima go inside to have a drink as McNulty walks away and gives some money to a homeless person around the corner. Sydnor reveals some information to the judge revealing that he has in fact become the new McNulty. Shardene also returns and she's still with Lester. Lester goes back to making minitures which is something he enjoys and this time he has Shardene with him too. The theme song from season 1 plays during the final montage which is perfect. McNulty looks all around town and finally finds Larry and tells him they should go back home. McNulty and Larry drive away as the camera focuses on the city of Baltimore. As of this moment I truly believe that The Wire is the greatest show of all time and I will without a doubt continue to rewatch this show as many times as I can.

Another emotionally devastating episode that gave me the same vibes as Final Grades. Bubbles giving his extremely sad speech of remembering the good times and then remember the bad times as well. We see this mirror Dukie as he remembers the good times and the bad times are right around the corner. The entire scene with Dukie, Michael, and Dukie in the car as they say their goodbyes to one another. Dukie remembers the good times and when they had the piss balloon fight. Michael doesn't remember signifying his loss of innocence. "See you 'round Mike." "See you Dukie." Michael drops off Bug at their aunt's place with a box of cash. Michael bends down on a knee and makes sure Bug is ready like he always did before school. "C'mon now a man don't be sheddin no tears. Go on Bug." The crack in his voice when he says go on Bug hits really hard. Michael arrives there first and finds out that Snoop is going to try to kill him. Michael has her pull over after faking having to pee and pulls a gun on her. Snoop points out that he was never one of them because of his tendency to question their orders. Snoop acts like a dude throughout the entire show but her last words actually actually very woman like. "How my hair look Mike?" "You look good girl." The shot of the back of the car and the bullet going through the window was great. The night time shots in The Wire are amazing and I've never seen any show do night time cinematography better than The Wire. Greggs faces a moral dilemma and makes the morally correct decision. She visits Carver prior to going to Daniels and warns him to tell his men to say they didn't know anything without giving him any specific details. She asks Carver if he regrets how he handled the Colicchio decision and he says no he felt like shit but he feels that he did the right thing. The scenes in the beginning of everyone tracking down the warehouse and ambushing Marlo's people including Cheese and members of the co-op when they pick up the drugs from the Greek's people. Marlo in his courtyard cuffed and on his knees and Lester going to him and specifically grabbing his phone and picking up the clock in order to show him that he knew all of it. Marlo flexes his acting skills once he finally gets a scene to show real emotion. "My name is my name!"- Marlo Easily my favorite Marlo quote. Gus checking in on the army guy who lost his hands, played by the one dude from Ozark. It's great that the army guy trusts that the other dude didn't lie and instead the newspaper company did. Marlo wondering who snitched and he gives the order to take out Michael even though he has no idea. Chris believes Michael didn't snitch. Bunk going to the scene of Chris's arrest and smiling with a huge cigar in his mouth. McNulty going to the track and this time it's Lester drinking instead of bunk. McNulty refuses to drink because the situation is really hitting him hard. The police are still chasing the serial killer which wastes valuable police resources. Colvin and his wife proudly watching Naymond giving a speech. Naymond got out of the life and is on his way to likely become someone like Clay Davis given the parallels shown between them back in season 4. It's good to see Colvin again. Colvin doesn't shake Carcetti's hand which I loved. Davis telling Lester the corruption with the lawyers and how he ripped of Stringer bell and milked him for all his cash because his lawyer wasn't there. Rhonda and Daniels going to check on the phone that belonged to the serial killer and finding out it actually belonged to Marlo Stanfield.

Lots of amazing scenes in this amazing episode. The best scene being the scene where Wallace dies. Probably the most heartbreaking scene in the entire show it's only possible rival being the scene in season 4 (if you've seen it you know the one). The second best scene is the Where's Wallace scene with D'Angelo screaming at Stringer and his lawyer. "Where's Wallace String?" Third best scene is the scene where McNulty and Daniel arrest Avon. "Look at these delta-force motherfuckers" "Catch you later" The scenes leading up to Wallace's death were extremely intense the most notable ones being the lunch Wallace has with the two people who eventually kill him and the meeting between Stringer Bell and Bodie. The three officers looking at the board with all of the information from the case and Sydnor saying that this was the best work he's ever done and that it doesn't feel finished yet. Daniels standing up to Burrell the entire episode was great especially when he stands up to that corrupt politician. That final shot of the empty orange sofa was a sad one.

The ending is one of the most haunting scenes I've ever seen in a show and hands down one of the best scenes in the wire or in television history. Seeing Frank go to the meeting right as the Greek gets called about him being a snitch even though Frank wasn't going to testify is super intense and seeing him walk towards his death is one of the saddest scene in the entire show. This episode embodied the death of the union guys down at the docks. Seeing Frank getting arrested and having this turn his image bad and his votes against him was sad. So many great lines from Frank and some great acted scenes. Frank and his brother talking about their kids and the trouble they've gotten into, seeing Frank talk to Ziggy while Ziggy was in jail, seeing Frank crying along with Beadie, and seeing Frank's final talk with Nick were all extremely emotional and sad scenes. Spiros had a lot of great scenes this episode and this episode added alot to his character. "Why don't they use their feet". His talk with the greek showing that he roots for Frank and the family was great but ultimately sad due to the fact that it all goes to shit. Beadie following Spiros was great. The opening drug busts and raids on all of the different places like Nick's house (the basement of his mom) were all great scenes. "Your a Sobatka"- Frank "Fucked is what I am" Ziggy. Omar great as always. Omar's hunt for Brother Muzone and how he copies the knock, shoots Muzone, and then has a conversation with him is great. That's easily one of my favorite scenes from this show. His little nod to Mouzone before walking out the door was great. Omar's talk with Stringer was also a fantastic scene having them come face to face once again. Overall one of the best episodes of The Wire and tv overall.

All of Avon's scenes were great. The scene where he's at the desk being quiet and Stringer's death weighing heavy on his mind. Slim Charles watching Marlo from the distance and Avon gathering the crew at the stash house to kill Marlo was great. Marlo was very close to being killed. Seeing Avon starting to dislike the fact that they started a meaningless war showing that Stringer's death has helped him see what Stringer was saying and the stupidity of a war over a few corners. The cops come in and catch Marlo. Marlo seeing that Stringer turned him after McNulty shows him the warrant that says the CI was Stringer was great. Marlo turning around to his sister and shes ignoring him was great. Also Marlo going to his court case and Avon recognizing him was great. Avon was a great character who gets even better on rewatches. Omar freeing his beat up boyfriend and saying his goodbyes to Brother Mouzone was great. Omar tossing the gun at the docks and the camera moving past the vote Frank Sobotka picture was great. Slim Charles great as always. "We fight on that lie." Marlo and Chris talking about how Stringer is dead and how Avon is going to make it seem like they did it. "I'm thinking it might be what you call one of them good problems." Carcetti's speech was great and his friend's realization that he's also going to run for mayor was great. The fall of Hamsterdam was also great with Rawls blasting ride of valkyries. "Like they just took a big eraser and rubbed across it" Bubs and Bunny talking in the final scene was great. Bunny being screwed over sucked but I like that when Rawls tried to rub it in Bunny went "Get on with it motherfucker" in front of everybody. McNulty reuniting with Beadie was great. McNulty and Daniels talk and McNulty refusing his offer and saying he needs to quit this type of police work for a while was great. Mcnulty's reaction to Stringer's dead body was great. McNulty becoming a street cop and interacting with the community was great. Cutty's stare at that one dude he almost killed was great. Carver going to Cutty's boxing place was great. In the end so much has happened yet nothing has happened and the game continues and a new cycle begins. Empires fall and Empires rise. And now it's Marlo's turn.

Amazing finally with lots of amazing scenes. That ending montage ending with the return of Omar was easily one of the best scenes of the show and it could be argued that it's the best scene in the entire show. Seeing everyone's fates at the end of season 1 was great whether they were sad or happy. Seeing Stringer alone was great, Lester no longer being a paper pusher was great, and seeing McNulty stuck on the boat was rough but having Lester and Bunk being there and giving McNulty alcohol made it a little bit better. "It's all in the game yo" Second best scene of the episode was easily the interrogation scene with Weebey. Dude was admitting to so many murders even ones he didn't even commit to cover for other people. Bunk describing that to McNulty was hilarious. Third best scene was D'Angelo's interrogation where he gives up Weebey and we find out he didn't actually kill that girl at the window. The Carver twist with him being the mole was great and something I didn't even see coming on a rewatch because I forgot all about it. Kima refusing to point out Weebey as the shooter was a great scene that really solidifies that she's one of the best people on the show. Stringer telling McNulty "nicely done" was great. Seeing McNulty and Stringer watching Avon's court case was great parallel with the scene from the pilot episode.

Lots of different plotlines going on in this episode. The best scenes in this episode (it's really between D'Angelos shocking end or this one) are the courtroom scenes with Omar and seeing him interact in an environment like that. My favorite scene of the episode is Omar vs the lawyer and how he points out that they both feed on the drugs and crime in the city. "Just like you man. I got the shotgun you got the briefcase. It's all in the game right?" Bunk throwing the tennis ball and accidentally hitting Lester was hilarious. Lester getting revenge by constantly bouncing the ball towards Bunk was great. Seeing Beadie, Lester, and Bunk being bored at the computers was a fun scene. McNulty and Stringer talking. Omar walking into court and doing the finger guns at Stringer was great and Stringer cussing at him was hilarious. Serge pulling a gun on Cheese was great. Prop joe's meeting with nick was a cool scene. D'Angelos scene with his mom was heartbreaking knowing what happens next. Avon's scene with D'Angelo is also almost as sad. D'Angelos death is easily one of the most shocking scenes of the entire show, and is easily one of the most saddest deaths of the show. Ziggy became way more unlikable when he smokes that hundred dollar bill. Bun and Mcnulty drinking great as always. Zig and his talk with his dad is one of his best scenes of the entire show where he doesn't seem like an asshole or a screwup. McNulty trying to move on with his life and dealing with not being a homicide detective anymore was great. His scenes of trying to get back together with his wife were nice.

One of the most heartbreaking episodes of the entire series. Tragic scene after tragic scene. The best scene of the episode is probably the one of the scenes that stuck with me the most through my first watch. Randy mocking Carver as Carver walks away with a distraught look on his face. He sees through Carver's lies and knows he's screwed. I remember watching the first scene and being tricked into thinking this was a flash forward or something of Chris and Snoop hunting down Michael. Prez visiting Michael and his mom's house. Prez also meets with the assistant president to tell her that Dukie isn't ready yet. Naymond feeling cheated that they have to do tests the same as the other classes. Tests don't work in their world. Dukie creating a doc labeled Mr. Prez's class showing pictures of all the kids. Prez reassuring Dukie that he'll be fine and that he can come to his class any day. Dukie finding his stuff outside of his house and an eviction notice on his door. Michael offering Dukie a place to stay at his new place. Lester discovering the vacant plan and trying to discover new bodies by Landsman is so used to the numbers game he won't let him until next year. Everyone cheering after the unit leader leaves and is replaced by Lester. Hurk being called in for the camera and three officers being called but Hurk takes all of the blame. Daniels going to Rawls and explaining how if they discover the bodies now they can put the blame on Royce's administration because it would be before January. Drunk Bunk great as always. Bunk and Lester making a bet over finding a body in one of the vacant house and they find one but can't call it in because of the stats game. Carcetti is faced with the issue of whether he wants to help the kids or whether he wants to screw himself over for the election two years down the road. It's his career or the city. Kenard lying to Namond about having his stash being stolen. Kenard taunts Namond but Michael beats the shit out of Kenard. Namond runs away because he's not hard enough for the streets. Carver visits Randy at his house. Namond cries after trying to look hard by bullying Dukie only to have Michael slap the shit out of him. Namond tells Cutty that he isn't his father and that he doesn't have it in him in the same way Cutty didn't have the game in him anymore either. Cutty visits michael's mother only to find out she's gone. Carver tries to call Namond's mother who refuses to do anything about it. Miss Anna's house gets burned down after Molotov's are thrown in. Cutty tracks down Michael to a corner and in an attempt to take him off the corner one of Marlo's guys shoots him in the leg. Michael tries to help him but Cutty tells him to go with his people giving his student one final lesson. I think this is where the seeds of doubt are planted in Michael's head. Bubbles creates the poisoned trugs and tragically Sherrod took it. Bubbles realization and reaction to Sherrod's death is incredibly sad. Omar plays Prop Joe and robs the co-op package. At least Omar's story added some light heartedness to this incredibly sad episode.

Lots of great scenes this episode with the best scene in the whole episode and one of the best scenes in the entire show being the intense scene where Kima spots two guys in hoodies walking up to the car before they shoot the windshield and the rest of the cops rush to the car. That image of Carver kneeling on the ground looking extremely distraught is stuck in my head. Great buildup throughout the entire episode. The second best scene in the episode was Stringer and Omar meeting up to discuss the truth and Stringer being extremely careful not to get caught saying anything that contradicts him being a messenger. "You ever steal from me I'll kill your whole family"-Prop Joe. McNulty's court scene with his wife was great. Wallace story this episode was great with him becoming a snitch. His scenes with Daniels were great with him going to his aunt's house and asking what's that sound to the crickets not used to them after living in the city for so long. Also him handing Daniels a twizzler was great. Bubbles and Kima talking about him getting clean and Kima offering him some money was a nice scene. "yo what the fuck gimme some love". Another great scene is Omar boarding the bus to New York to lay low for a while and asks McNulty for some money and says he could easily go down the street and get some if he wants too.

So many great scenes this episode. Omar hitting Prop Joe's shop. Slim Charles being so calm you barely even realize he's there. Omar bringing the broken clock. "what's the problem?" "It ran outta time" Omar bringing a huge ass pistol and sticking it in Prop Joe's face. Prop Joe's amazing speech. "Omar to one side holding a spade, and maybe Marlo to the other with a shovel. And at this moment I managed to crawl out my own damn grave. No way do I crawl back in." Poor Bugs being so unused to going to a fast food restaurant and practicing his order. Naymond buying for everyone. Michael showing signs of Omar by planning out his own stickup on asshole cop guy. Naymond drawing the short stray and scratching that cop's car so that he can follow him right to the barrel of Michael's gun. Bodie and McNulty talking in the restaurant about how that one cop got jumped was great. Seeing McNulty actually question Carcetti instead of cheerin along was great. Michael taking his ring and having paint thrown at him. Naymond and Michael talking afterwards about how Michael is different and being more bold. Michael being the greatest friend and backing up Randy by beating the shit out of those guys trying to ambush him. Marlo telling Chris that Michael stood tall next to a snitch and Chris's reaction. Naymond and Bunny rough housing in the hallway and Naymond doing the blindfold drop in the class after looking at Bunny staring at him. Sherrod reuniting with Bubbles and sadly not being able to stand up to that one asshole and Bubbles and them both getting beat up. Randy's social status being destroyed as he's outted as a snitch and can't even sell anything any more. Randy talking to Prez, Michael, and Dukie about what he did and Prez backing him and saying don't say anything to anyone. Prez confronting Carver and Carver realizing Hurk fucked up and telling Bunk. Lester and Prez reunite on screen once again after asking Prez about Randy and Prez giving them a little information and Lester being very understanding and happy that Prez has found his calling. Lester and Bunk going to the park and realizing that those Vacant Houses are actually tombs. Daniels promoting Lester and the major crimes crimes surviving once again. Daniels telling Lester that as far as he's concerned Lester is the major crimes. Divison. "The bunk is strictly a suit and tie wearing motherfucker" Naymond at the corner and being put in a hard position when Michael's mom goes to try to get drugs for free and Naymond giving in. Naymond having to cut his hair due to his mother and asking Kenard how he would look with no tail and Kenard going, "Do I look like a faggy?" "The fuck you do that for?" "That's Michael's moms yo." Chris showing humanity and chilling with Snoop and Marlo and talkign about how he likes the song on the radio. Seeing Marlo, Snoop, and Chris just chilling was cool and reading magazines and what not was cool. Omar telling his boyfriend about he's pronouncing co-op wrong because his boyfriend was saying coop lol. Bunny talking to that one kid and why he had at an outburst and the kid opening up and telling him that his mom was found dead at his house and how he was told to go back to school. Seeing those kids trusting each other and catching each other's falls reminded him of it.

Fantastic episode. Omar protecting his granny in the car after Stringer gives the go ahead to try to kill Omar on a Sunday morning. Everyone's reactions to this including Stringer talking about how Prop Joe gave him and earful and also Slim Cheese and his opinion on all this. Stringer and Avon's talk about this. "Like Fat Face Rick heard that our people shot Omar granny in the ass on purpose" "The Sunday truce has been around as long as the game itself, man. You can do some shit and be, like What the fuck? But hey just never on no Sunday." Prez's entire story of shooting the undercover cop was heart breaking. Daniels meeting him in the interrogation room and backing him with a lawyer was great. "Tell Lester I'm sorry." Everyone's somber reaction to this was heartbreaking especially Lester's. The final shot of Prez at the empty detail office. Cutty trying to get permits and finally getting them. Omar's reaction to the hit on his grandma and refusing his boyfriend to help with this and the other crew member leaving was great. "That woman think I work at a Cafeteria." "Cafeteria?" "At the airport yeah."

Lots of great scenes in this episode. The first half of this episode is great and has this hectic fast paced feel. Best scenes include the beginning with everyone at the crime scene. D'Angelo thinking he was gonna get whacked but it ended up just being him having to feed Weebey's fishes while he's gone was hilarious. Rawl's talk with McNulty on how it's not his fault is a great scene for Rawls and shows that he's more than just the asshole guy. Weebey talking with Stringer and finding out that they shot a cop was a great scene as well. All of Stringer's scenes were great. Lots of cool raid scenes throughout the episode. Herc and Carver taking some of the raid money and stuffing it into the front of their vests. Poot and Wallace's phone calls were great. The highlighted couch scene was a great emotional callback to one of the previous episodes.

Best scene is easily Chris loosing complete control and beating Bug's father to death. It is heavily implied that Chris was molested as a kid as well seeing that he kept bothering Bug's dad about the kids thing and recognizing Michael's look after Snoop asks what'd he do to you. In a way Chris gets revenge for his own childhood which ultimately leads to his downfall. The wire has shown that emotion is what brings alot of these guys. Naymond is arrested for drugs and while his mom in away and not there for him he calls upon Bunny and Bunny helps him out. He stays at Bunnys house and is nice to Colvin's wife. Carver being nice and allowing Naymond to stay at the police station instead of going to lock up was great. Carver has changed alot. Donut crashing into cars all across town until that asshole cop finally catches up to him and breaks his fingers. McNulty going to dinner with Bunk and his kids was great. McNulty's wife showing up and her showing signs of regret when realizing McNulty may have finally grown up. Daniels going outside of the chain of command to tell Carcetti what's really going on. Prez noticing classroom's are hotter and the other teachers telling him it's to keep the kids drowsy so they don't disrupt the 90 minutes teaching days. One of the teachers watching Prez in the classroom. As soon as she leaves Prez tells everyone to get back to teaching normal Math and continues doing to do real teaching. Randy starting to realize that he's been outted and his social status is starting to fall apart. One of the kids refuses to use the dices with him and Michael being the greatest friend ever says he'll work with him. Bodie and Poot talking about how they are getting old. Bodie telling little kevin to go to Marlo to make it known that he didn't snitch. Bubbles getting revenge and sending Herc on a church member and making him think that he is pulling over one of Marlo's guys was great. Little Kevin telling Marlo that Randy is the snitch sucks and makes the next scene less sad. Immediately as Little kevin turns around Marlo's guys grab him and shove him into the back of a truck. Even though he didn't snitch he failed to tell Lex directly and there is a small chance that he might snitch and so Marlo decides thats enough reason to murder him. Little Kevin's last look in the back of that truck at Slim Charles walking by was sad. He's on his way to a vacant and he knows. Slim Charles telling Bodie that Little Kevin is dead as sad. Poot talking about how the world is getting hotter but the people are getting colder. "World going one way, people another."

Fantastic final scene and easily one of the best moments in The Wire and in television history. Seeing Stringer finally admit to Avon what he did and Idris Elba getting so worked up that his accent was coming in was some fine acting. Avon's reaction is great and Stringer knocking him and making his speech. Avon confronting Stringer and hitting Stringer where it hurts by saying that he's not hard enough for the streets and not smart enough for what's outside the streets hits Stringer's nerve and Stringer finally cracks. Stringer telling Avon that he is going to fuck everything up by starting a war with Avon. "What cause I don't shoot up a block indiscriminate, I ain't hard enough? Because I think before I snatch a life, I aint into this bullshit?" "But there go a life that had to be snatched Avon." Second best scene in McNulty being super cold but also super truthful with D'Angelo's mother and explaining how a lot of what happened to D'Angelo is her fault and how she convinced him to take the years. That line about how he went to D'Angelos girlfriend and not his mother because he wanted someone who actually cared about D'Angelos was an insanely cold thing to say to D's mother. All of Omar's scenes are great especially his reaction to Hamsterdam. "Ayo this some kind full-tilt set up man to catch a master scoundrel. Capone and whatnot." Omar isn't falling for Hamsterdam. Seeing the cops struggle with the fact that the game has changed and seeing the gangsters wanting to file a complaint because the cops couldn't stop a stick up crew from stealing their drugs and money was hilarious. Chris shooting Avon through the shoulder by pulling up and shotguning the window was great. McNulty hanging out with Greggs was great and Prez's joke during the zooming in on the license plate and Daniels saying "sometimes you still scare me you know that?" was great.

Every scene with the kids was great. Seeing their introductions and where they began was great. Seeing them before their innocence is lost. Throwing piss balloons. Naymond accidentally popping the balloon and pissing himself. Randy being nice to Dukie and also Michael being nice. Michael taking the hits at the fight while Naymond watches and runs away. Carver scene with Bodie and messing around with them "Wheres the love Bodie? Where's the love!" Snoop and Chris murdering that dude in the beginning and Chris comforting him before killing him was unsettling. Snoop buying the nail gun and laughing with Chris in the car was great. Marlo's scene was grea. Chris and Snoop at the park and Snoop in the shadows just sitting there waiting was terrifying. Sucks that that hat dude Cutty spared died. Usually I don't care for Carcetti but he was great this episode and was fun to watch. Him struggling with the calls in the room and being bored was great. Mcnulty and Bunk talking and McNulty changing was great. "Dinner?"- Bunk Prez at the school and getting a class room and trying to find his place was great. Randy dealing with the fact that he might have unwittingly been involved with a murder before his mom calls him back up the steps. Snoop and Chris boarding up the wall before moving on through the dark streets. Great shot btw.

Omar Little gets shot in the back by a child. Omar's death is one of the most shocking in history and easily the most shocking death in The Wire not because it happened but how it happened. But it's absolutely perfect. Omar wouldn't die by someone like Chris or Snoop. Omar would die by someone he didn't even know was in the game. Omar Little sees his killer and ignores him in the same way he ignored Michael because "he's just a kid." Omar becomes a victim of his own senseless violence that he created all throughout Baltimore. He relies to heavily on his legend. In an earlier scene when that psycho Kenard pours lighter fluid over a cat all of the other kids run but Kenard stays because he sees Omar in his vulnerable state. Kenard, the same kid who wanted to be Omar Little during that shootout back in season 3. Omar simply walks up to an apartment and the drugs are dropped down. He goes to a Korean convenience store and it's just another day for Omar Little. Kenard shoots Omar Little in the back of the head and leaves. Bunk goes to his crime scene and picks up his list of names. Unknowingly Omar still helped take Marlo down by giving them info on Cheese siding with Marlo. We get this huge buildup between Marlo and Omar and the rug gets pulled from right under us. In the final scene Omar's name tag gets mixed up with some random white guy because in the streets Omar will forever be a legend but outside of the streets he's a nobody just like everyone else. Chris's shocked reaction to Omar's death was great. Marlo still trying to get a trip to AC. Michael, Chris, and Snoop talking about Omar. Snoop being very rude to Michael. She always never liked Michael. "Youngin on some different opinion shit there."- Snoop McNulty coming home to find Beadie has left and has left a note as well warning him that the way he's acting will end their relationship. McNulty talk with Beadie at the end and telling her about the serial killer plan and Beadie pointing out that he made a huge selfish decision. McNulty telling Greggs and Greggs going to Lester and Sydnorand finding out they're in on it as well. Bunk gives in and asks for McNulty's help to sign off on helping him get DNA evidence on the Michael's dad's corpse. Bunk finds out it's Chris's DNA but can't act on it because Lester and his illegal wiretap. The Wire shows that emotion is the downfall of a lot of characters. This episode in particular it's the downfall of Omar and Chris Partlow. If he moves on it everyone will go into hiding destroying Lester's illegal case. POOOOT!!!! Poot working at foot locker and talking to Dukie. Dukie going around trying to find a job and finding a job which involves helping a junkman lift some junk into his horse cart. Dukie is close to completing his journey of becoming the next Bubbles. Sydnor helps crack the code behind the clocks. Freamon tracks down Davis and threatens him with the case work. Carcetti makes another terrible decision solidfying his journey of becoming just like any other politician. He gives a portion of the already low funding to another person in order to make sure he gets elected. "Yeah, but if I don't win Jen I bring back exactly nothing." Templeton being exposed for a bullshit because that previous army veteran comes in and is furious that he faked parts of the story. Gus keeps editing down Templeton's articles because he's recognizing the bullshit. Gus stands tall and refuses to allow the article go through with that fake quote. Klebanow goes to try to override Gus's decision.

All of Stringer's scenes great as always and Avon assigning him a body guard was hilarious. "Tall man gonna be there when I stomp on your fucking head!" "Cmon Mr. Bodyguard" Omar's scene with Butchie was great and Butchie giving him the address for the funeral home was great. Bunny's talk with Carver in the office was great. Hamsterdam comes crashing down as word gets out and Bunny has to show Rawls everything. Seeing their slow realization as to what Bunny has done was great. "You nit don't you see what he's done? He's legalized drugs!"- Rawls Bunny openly threatening Burrell was great. The opening scene cutting to different parts of the city and bodies showing up was haunting. Marlo showing some emotion after killing Devonne. All of Avon's scenes were great. Stringer at the co-op meet and being told that he needs to control his dawg or the Barksdale crew is out. McNulty driving through traffic almost getting into an accident to talk to Beadie only to realize it's just a lookalike cop. The staged cell phone plan with Bubbles was great. Brother Mouzone's story and sending in one of his crew to go into the gay bar was great. Brother Mouzone knocking out Omar's annoying boyfriend. Cutty learning to deal with how annoying kids can be and getting the hang of it and setting up shop.

Fantastic episode. Best scene is easily Bunk and Omar's scene together and Bunks speech about the violence that Omar inspires within the community. Second best scene is Cutty admitting to Avon that he can't be in the game anymore and Avon okaying it and saying they're good. Slim saying Cutty used to be a man and Avon saying Cutty is still one today was great. Avon struggling with the business side of things was great. Avons scenes with Stringer in this episode really emphasize how they're polar opposites. Avon says hes a gangster and he wants his corners. Seeing Stringer struggle in the backseat while Avon talks with Slim Charles about taking the corners was great. The two hits on the corners were great. The first one with the failures and car crash was great. The second one with Cheese shooting the other dude and Cutty struggling too pull the trigger on the last guy was great. Marlo dapping up Chris and actually showing emotion with a smile was nice. Snoop's first appearance. Stringer talking with Bodie about Hamsterdam was great and String's talk with Avon while having drinks was also great. Stringer talking about how Hamsterdam is like a buisness and Avon spacing out and then saying what're man what's up and Stringer going nothing at all man was great. Stringer getting his money drained outta him by that senator and his pissed off reaction was great. The opening montage of the police officers messing with the dealers who weren't in Hamsterdam by driving out to the woods and making them walk back or throwing their shoes in the sewer drains was great. Bunk standing up to Landsman and Landsman being cool with him investigiating his homicides was great. All of omar's scenes especially when he confronts his witness were great and same goes for Stringer, Cutty, and Slim Cheese. The ending with colvin rawls and burrel waiting for Daniels was great.

Final montage great as always. All of Omar's scenes are fantastic as always. Seeing Omar talk with Butch about Stringer and Brother Mouzone was great. Brother Mouzone and Stringer's talk was great. Avon and Stringer's talk about Mouzone was hilarious. "Us man" Seeing Bubs getting out of getting arrested again and giving Mcnulty and Greggs information again was great. The hints at the fact that we are gonna be thrown back into that world again was great. The detail turning back towards Avon and Stringer was great. Seeing the corpse of Frank and everyone's reactions to it was heart breaking. Seeing that the Greek got away with it sucks but I'm fine with Spiros getting away cause I like him. The most unrealistic thing about the wire is the fact that Daniels is super ripped. Prop joe and Spiros's last meet for some time is great. Prop Joe and Stringer talking while McNulty takes pictures is great.

The opening scene was great. In the end they are still kids and them being freaked out by the "zombie" dope fiend was great. Chris Partlow, zombie master. Prez giving Michael and Naymond detention and Naymond snapping and then coming back to apologize to Prez. Randy telling Prez why Michael can't make it attention because of his brother and him having a dope fiend mother and all. Dukie, Randy, and car jacking kid helping Prez get his car keys out of his car by breaking into it. Prez giving Dukie stuff. Prez learning that Dukie isn't wearing the clothes he gave him because his family sold them off was heartbreaking. Snoop and Chris trying to recruit Michael was great. His friends seemingly leaving but actually keeping watch at the end of the block was nice. Dukie, Michael, and Randy checking out the corpse in the vacants to prove that there aren't zombies. Gave me real It vibes. "Ain't no special dead...There's just dead."-Dukie Rawls telling Carcetti that Watkins jumped ship and Carcetti and Norman waiting till Rawls turns the corner and then dashing to their car was great. Royce shaving his beard like that would make a big difference while Carcetti is working hard at it was great. Watkins and Royce arguing was great. Herc setting up the camera and Marlo immediately finding out. Marlo and Chris discussing how to deal with Omar. Chris being an absolute psycho helping that lady and then immediately killing her next. Bubbles and Sherrod's talk about how he needs to go to school.

Randy ordering offline using help from Dukie was great. Using cash upfront from winning at a gambling game using the probability math he learned Randy orders the candy offline using Prez's credit card. THE RETURN OF POOT! Lil kevin being pulled off the corner by cops. "Do I look little to you?" Herc being an absolute moron lets it slip that Randy is the informant. Herc ignoring Bubbles phone calls and Bubbles being beat up on sucked. Prez dealing with the fact that the classes are being forced to teach to the test and Prez being who he is and refusing to do so. Carver and Cutty talking at the gym. Colvin taking Naymond and everyone else to the fancy dinner place was great and seeing them out of their element gives my flashbacks to when D'Angelo was having dinner and was out of his element as well. The kids returning to exactly how they act as soon as they get in the car. Marlo talking with Chris and Snoop about how it's their top priority to go and get Andre. Prop Joe and Slim Charles tricking Andre and serving Andre up in order to get Marlo to join the co-op. Chris and Andre talking about murdering him in such an nonchalant way. "What's the difference?" "The difference is my people. They won't know." "They'll know." "You're all right I got your back."- Chris Bunk and Omar talking once Omar is released. Omar agrees to Bunks terms and vows that he won't drop any more bodies. Omar watching Marlo and seeing the beginning of the next Omar. Michael struggling with dealing with Bug's father. Carcetti wins!!!! And also doesn't cheat on his wife this time!!!! Carcetti and his wife taking the walk and him getting the phone call that he won. Marlo playing the cops and taking a random ladies bag and their interaction was hilarious. They arrest him and realize that instead of dope it's just clothes. McNulty being doubtful that Omar would do something like that. Omar getting arrested and hiding the gun in back of the store refrigerator. Screw that cop that guys an asshole. The cop takes Omar's ring continuing this Lord of The Rings type thing. In a way that ring represents power in the game and how somebody is always above each other. Omar takes the ring from Marlo, the cop takes the ring from Omar. Brianna cutting Naymond's annoying ass mother loose was great. Weebey being back again is always great. Cutty trying to relate to Michael about women and Michael just ignoring him. Cutty being all of these kid's moms and then one of the mom's being mad about the fact that it's a one night stand. Randy snitching sucks cause it all goes down from here. Against the wall he admits that he knows about a murder. Naymond returning to the corner and Bodie's comment about he knows now why he is the way he is. Bodie is always fantastic. Omar in prison and seeing even he was scared was terrifying. McNulty helping out Omar and allowing him a phone call was great. Seeing Omar be scared made me scared. The two big guys coming in and Omar putting his fists up only to realize they were Butchie's guys was great. They got themselves arrested by talking back to an officer lmao.

Kenard's prank on Colicchio where he reaches into the bag thinking it'll be drugs but it ends up being dog shit. Colicchio exploding at the dude who kept honking his horn. Michael laughing at yelling beat his ass. Carver saying he'll charge him himself when he finds out he feels no regret over his decision showing that Carver really has improved as a person. Herc and Carver together again. He reminds Herc of Randy and the shit he pulled. He reminds him that everything they do matters and spirals out. Herc says he'll get a bad rep but he tells him to do the right thing anyways. Maybe Herc has improved a little as well. Davis at the courtyard putting on a face. Burrel behind Daniels with a golf club in an almost threatening manner. Burrel not saying a word when Daniels visits him for a meeting. Freamon's story about that officer that is helping them and how he lost authority over Rawls at a crime scene. Greggs noticing Bunk's mood change. Greggs watchign Devonne, the kid from the home invasion, through the mirror and then going to visit her own kid. Greggs building a lego house with him. McNulty comes home to Beadie questioning him. Feels bad to see Beadie like this. Freaman and McNulty repositioning the body. He fakes defence wounds. Lester pointing out that killers mature and they mimic this. Prop Joe aranges flowers for Butchie's funeral. "Butchie, woe to them that call evil good, and good evil. From your true and loyal friend Proposition Joe." Slim Charles worrying that the card won't convince Omar who will come back for revenge. Slim Charles questioning Marlo and his intentions. Joe and Slim correctly guessing that Cheese gave Butchie up. Joe goes into hiding leaving Cheese in charge with Slim watching him closely to see if he spends his extra money. Marlo meeting with the Greeks and asking if they are good with him killing Joe. They recognize that if they say no Marlo will do it anyways and they will have to deal with him change up the power dynamic. The greeks say they are fine with it. Spiros of course questions Marlo and saying he's no Prop Joe. Spiros shows a little bit of loyalty towards the people he works with unlike the Greek who goes with whoever he can. Marlo angry at the meet that they are talking about non street stuff like investing into buisnesses. Cheese gets angry at Hungry Man and Prop Joe disrespects Cheese by reminding him that he's not in the co-op which leads to Marlo seizing the opportunity to turn Cheese against Prop Joe. Marlo gives up Hungry man to Cheese. Prop Joe at the defence attorney office and Marlo recognizing Herc . Prop Joe and Herc talking about how Burrell went to the same high school as him and that he was in the glee club and was stone stupid. Cheese helping out Prop Joe preapre to leave town and Prop Joe tells him that he kept this house even though he's so rich because he respected his grandfather who bought the house and was the first African American in the neighborhood to do so. It's the newer generations like Cheese that don't care about things like Prop Joe's generation did. Prop Joe even warns Cheese about Omar but Cheese said don't. Marlo comes in and Marlo confirms Cheese gave him up. Marlo allows Prop Joe to close his eyes and go out calmly which means he actually respected Joe. "I treated you like a son." "I wasn't made to play the son." Chris kills Prop Joe and Marlo wears the crown. Omar's emotional reaction to learning about Butchie's death. "I'm going to work them. Sweet Jesus, I'm going to work them." Omar back with his shotgun. Omar ambushing Slim and Slim actually acting like a stand up guy and Omar responding by not killing him. Slim tells him to do what he's got to do and doesn't act like a coward. Slim is one of the best side characters of the show. Omar is on the hunt once again.

"Don't seem possible." "It don't." "Some Spider man shit there." Marlo's reaction to Chris pointing out which floor Omar jumped out of was great. Snoop checking out all of the hospitals and Chris searching the rooms. Omar was in the janitor's closet of the building the whole time. Watching all of these gangsters looking around and not finding a single trace of Omar really emphasizes how Omar is like a legend in the streets. An untouchable force of nature. Omar taking Fat Face Rick's gun and ambushing him was great. "You kill Joe? Hungry?... Didn't think so." Marlo straight out admitting that he was behind Prop Joe's fall was great. I almost thought he was gonna lie but no he straight out says it. Slim Charles's look after seeing Cheese rolling with Marlo. Slim Charles refusing Marlo's offer. Slim is one of the realest characters in the entire show. McNulty realizing Templeton is bullshiting. RAAANDYYY!!!!!! Randy's back and we see what the group home has done to him. Randy's tragic story comes full circle. He got chewed up in the system and the nice kid we once knew is gone. Randy has to act hard and push random tiny kids out of the hallway in order to survive. "Why don't you promise to get me outta here? Cause that's what y'all do ain't it. Lie to dumbass niggas." - Randy Wagstaff The DNA evidence from the vacant murders get messed up due to the new temp brought in due to the budget cuts. Every department is hurting due to these budget cuts and Carcetti's selfish decision. Bunk interviewing Michael's mother revealing that Michael's mother knows Michael was behind it due to the fact that he knew he wasn't coming back before they even know he got murdered. NIIICKK!!!! Nick Sobatka is back and exposes Carcettii for his bullshit. The docks are gone now bringing that story to it's inevitable conclusion. The death of the blue collared worker. Carcetti finding out that him defending the homeless might be his key to winning his next election. Only when it has to do with him does that problem get addressed. Sydnor agrees to help Lester with his illegal wiretap. McNulty does the most fucked up thing he's done and kidnaps a random mentally ill homeless man. To help with his guilt he puts him in a shelter home. McNulty is clearly overcome with guilt but he won't stop doing what he's doing until the police get their funding back. I love how this show is adresing this situation. The Wire doesn't tell you that what he's doing is right or wrong. It merely presents you the pros and cons of this situation and leaves it up to the audience to decide. The Wire succeeds where some other shows fail. It doesn't make the choice for you, it merely presents information and leaves it to you to decide. Omar going around messing with Marlo's world and him blowing up that SUV is one of my favorite scenes from the entire show. Now you make sure you tell old Marlo I burned the money. 'Cause it ain't about that paper. "It's about me hurtin' his people and messin' with his world. Tell that boy he ain't man enough to come down to the street with Omar. You tell him that!"

Fantastic episode a ton of great scenes and quotes. "Ayo lesson here Bey. You come at the king you best not miss" D'Angelo looking at literally anybody else to be the man for an hour before having to settle on Poot."Shiiit look at me". All of Omar's scenes are great as always especially the shootout with Bey and Stinkum. His talk with the Lester, Kima, and McNulty is great too. "lester are we still cops" "technically I suppose" "ok i was just checking" Restaurant scene with Weebey Stinkum and D'Angelo and another dude was nice. Elevator scene with McNulty Daniels where he questions his integrity was intense. Drunk Bunk great as always burning up his clothes in the bathtub and falling asleep in McNulty's bunkbed in a robe. The opening scene with McNulty's kids following Stringer Bell and having it all end up being just Stringer going to his business class was hilarious. Stringer's business talk at the paper place was a cool scene as well along with with the meeting with Stringer and Avon discussing Omar was great. Overall fantastic episode. Great scene where Omar watches quietly holding that kid watching silently through the window as his van is burned.

The escalating scene with Ziggy killing the greek guy was great and his reaction in the car was some great acting. His scene later in the interrogation scene with Jay Landsman was heartbreaking. "Your his father" Nick and Frank's reaction to Ziggy's arrest were great and showcased both of their acting skills well. Ziggy and his childhood friend reminiscing about Zig at the children's playground was another scene showcasing great acting. Bunk being super nervous on the boat the first time with a huge safety vest was great and seeing him later fishing on the boat and looking like he's in Florida was great. Prez punching his father in law in the face was great. Vondas cleaning house and the cops rushing to get warrants was intense. The parallels between the two greeks washing down the cocaine and the cops working on the warrants was an extremely intense ending. Bodie's comments about Prop Joe's crew moving in the towers were hilarious. Cheese making fun of brother mouzone and then being shot in the arm by him was hilarious. Mouzone just sitting down and reading a newspaper and everyone still avoiding him was hilarious. Omar is great as always even though he's in one scene with Butch. Prop Joe saying that Omar might be able to pull it off was great. Overall fantastic episode.

My favorite scene this episode was easily when Michael refuses to take the two hundred from Marlo and Marlo trying to stare him down only for Michael to stare him right in the eye. Marlo recognizing this and smiling while turning to Chris who nods. Michael doesn't want to be indebt to nobody. All of the scenes with the kids were great. That one kid jacking the car and all of them hanging around it. Carver starting to show change when he's about to participate in another foot chase but realizes he already knows all these kids and where they are at. Randy loosing the 200 to a cop. Randy saying can I take Michael's 200 after Michael refuses was great. Naymond getting his clothes from his mother was great and was one of the few times I actually liked his mom. Weebey and Naymond talking in prison was great. The whole Herc accidentally walking in on the mayor was hilarious. Carcetti's speech about the killed witness and Royce realizing he fucked up was great. Bodie being mad at Naymond for dipping and Naymond giving his job to michael for a while so he can get clothes was great. Cutty at the gym and recognizing Michael's potential was great but sad when Michael refuses training for a reason we will find out later on. Prez listening to ring of fire while hammering away the gum from the bottom of the desks. Marlo and his crew's training was great. Marlo the king with two guns, Snoop shooting insanely yet accurately, and Chris shooting the gun like a trained soldier would and pointing out the flaws in his crew's shooting.

McNulty's fake baltimore accent when making a fake phone call to Templeton. Lester has to figure out the code behind the clock photos. McNulty becomes like a boss around the office by giving people the things they need to solve their cases. Lester also needs his help as well and questions McNulty's decision because he could get caught. Bunk refusing to attend the meeting and telling Landsman that he's working a real case and if landsman makes him go he might as well transfer him. Carver brings in Michael gift wrapped. Bunk and Michael's conversation. Omar breaks his code and agreement with Bank and goes around murdering people and don't really have to be murdered. Omar flushes a bunch of cocaine and messes with Marlo's world even more. Omar commits another action that breaks his code and kills Savino even though Savino had nothing to do with Butchie's murder and is just one of Marlo's soldiers. Omar is getting to emotional and it's clouding his judgement. He's already hopping around town with a broken leg. Omar putting a gun to Michael. Michael recognizes the fear that Omar is putting in everyone and perhaps this is what pushes Michael to become a stick up man himself. Kenard is dissapointed when he finnaly sees omar. "That's Omar?"- Kenard. Kenard is the only one who sees Omar is vulnerable. Omar trashes Marlo's name once again saying he's not man enough to come to the street with Omar. Bubbles returns again and he's helping in the soup kitchen. Bubbles going around and showing the world of the homeless to one of the reporters. Bubbles shows another sign of true change when he refuses to take his money. "Nah not about that... Just write it like it feels." Senator Davis pulling all kinds of cards like the race card and charming the jury. Davis is acquitted. I love that shaky cam shot of Davis lifting his arm up when walking out of the court. One of my favorite scenes in the entire show is Greggs taking her son who can't sleep to the window and looking outside at the moon and saying goodnight to all of the people in Baltimore. "Good night po-pos. Good night fiends. Goodnight hoppers. Good night hustlers. Goodnight scammers. Good night to everybody. Good night to one and all."

Stringer bringing in two chicks to Avon as great. Stringer always the business man and Avon always the gangster. "We brothers B"

Omar's entire opening prison scene. The two guys taping books to him. Omar sending a message by stabbing that dude. Omar getting a knife cut on the tape showing he's vulnerable. Bunk and Omar's talk and how if Omar didn't do it then someone else is and Bunk is letting them walk. Bunk working out deals to help Omar get a jail transfer was great. Kima doing investigations and it turning out that the witness who died was due to a random stray from a guy shooting bottles meaning a big reason Carcetti became mayor was over a lie. Prop Joe giving Marlo advice. Herc realizing the camera was gone. Cutty and Spider's talk and Cutty apologizing to everyone in the gym over him dating their moms. The whole board game story and Prez going through storage to find a bunch of useful stuff just locked away. Naymond's plan to get out of school failing. Naymond saying man fuck you over and over to Colvin was great. Colvin smiling and unfazed throughout was great. Naymond getting beat up on outside the gym by Sherrod. Cutty helping Naymond out. Bubbles getting beat up on sucked and then that one asshole cop taking his stuff sucked. Sherrod and Bubles talking. This episode is especially heartbreaking knowing how that Sherrod story ends.

Also Omar's first appearance in this show and pretty much every scene with him in this episode is a highlight. The scene where the cops raid the pit and get nothing is a highlight. Another great scene was when Kima runs over and you think she's gonna stop them from beating up Bodie but she joins in instead and they all beat down bodie. Another great scene was Stringer talking about how having a worse product leads to dope fiends buying twice as much because they're addicts. Also McNulty refusing to listen to Daniels was great.

Lots of great scenes these episode like: Everyone of Omars scenes especially the one where he reacts to seeing Brandon's body, Omar hanging out at the office while McNulty storms out after getting angry about Rawls almost shutting down the case, Bodie's court scene, Bodie getting beat up by Herc and Caver without them realizing he's actually allowed to be out and so Bodie gets them to take him to his Grandma's house in return, and the two scenes of Wallace and D'Angelo discussing Brandon's murder and D'angelo talking about why he didn't pay them to find out who was stealing and why he took the two thieves off stash watch. Also great scene where Rawls and Daniels defend their positions. The scene of Avon and Stringer visiting the pit in slow motion is one of my favorite scenes from the Wire.

Marlo showing emotion and smiling before leaving the store. Slim Charles gets another scene gret as always. The cops hitting Marlo's courtyard. "Yo that shoots nails be cool." My favorite scenes throughout the entire episode were Snoop and Chris's talks to one another while going around murdering folk. Snoop almost shooting that guy after giving the right answer and Chris calming her down was hilarious. "Yo Snoop! Yo Snoop! Chill! Sonay be on the show too!" We see that although Bunny helped clean up some streets he created hell on earth, a paradise for dealers and addicts. That entire scene is haunting. Poot being smart and playing dead when Snoop drives by is great. All of Omar's scenes are great and him dealing with Bunk's statement and how Bunk's words have stuck with him because he knows it's true. Stringer looses his cool when D'Angelos girl reveals she told D'Angelo's mother that the cop said her son's death might not have been a suicide. Bunk snipping that other detectives tie was great and every gathering around and laughing around the office. Bunk finally getting his gun from Bunk was great. Bunk and Omar's conversations were great. Sucks that this episode pretty much signals the end of Kima's relationship with her girlfriend. Avon's scene was great and Herc realizing Avon is out and telling everyone. The final shot of Kima throwing something towards the camera and it cutting was great. Carver pointing out that Herc used habitat in a sentence. "Did you just use "habitat" in a sentence?" "I did." Carver standing up for the little ones and Herc's reaction was great. Bunk trying to find the gun and finding a list of a stupid amount of guys going by peanuts was great. Never realized the first time around that it was Dante who accidentally shot Tosha. McNulty and Kima drinking. Drunk Bunk and McNulty again is always great. Cutty was great and his mee maw giving him money was great. Cutty dealing with the fact that people have moved on including his once girlfriend was sad. Marlo's crew pulling up on Bodie's men. Omar burning his hand with the cigarette. The tradition at the bar was great. "Old King Cole"- Landsman The bar singing was also great. "I'm a free born man of the USA" Carcetti cheating on his wife sucked tho. Best scene without a doubt is String's meeting scene. It's hilarious throughout. "Nigga you ain't got the floor. Chair don't recognize yo ass" "Do the chair know we gon look like some punk ass bitches" "String poot did have the floor man" "Shut the fuck up man this nigga too ignorant to have the fucking floor" String trying to apply business to the animal kingdom trying to make D'Angelos dream of selling shit come true. The drug dealer trying to sell to Bunny was hilarious. This episode overall is one of the funniest of the series and it feels great to focus directly on the street again. Second best scene is Poot and Bodie just talking and having a normal conversation that isn't focused on the game. Poot and Bodie reminiscing about the Franklin Terrace towers before it blows up is great. All of Cutty's scenes are great. Avon walking across the field and everyone stopping was great and really shows his hold over the game. Cutty and Weebey talking was great. Bunk and Mcnulty at the game with their kids was great. Carver and Herc chasing down the runner and Carver's stupid speech on top of the police car was great. Bubs and his friend running into one of Marlo's guys and Marlo first appearence coming out of the building was great. "Do it or don't I've got places to be" Bubbs and his friend walking around after getting their pants taken for punishment was great. Marla and Daniels scene was sad and him pretending to still be together and then having to return to his office was depressing. Colvin saying how could we juke the stats regarding murders was great.

Omar hitting the stash dressed as an old man was great. "Oh shit" "Oh shit" "hey yo omar all due respect but this right here this a barksdale joint man" "do tell" The whole Cheese story of him murdering his dog and the cops thinking that he was admitting to killing his dawg was hilarious. The interrogation scene between McNulty and Bunk and Cheese was great. Bunk mimicking Cheese was great. "Man yall some cold as motherfuckers man" "Animal cruelty you wanna run wild with it" Mcnulty investing D'Angelos "suicide" was great. The woof murder was great touch. "Woof" Some of the other dealers talking about it and saying something like "woof? Like a dog?" was great. The dogs barking after the shot is fired is great. Poot and Bodie meeting Herc and Carver at the movie theater was great. The paper bag speech scene by Colvin was also great. Stringer and Avon meeting in prison again was great. Cutty working as a gardner was also great. Bodie trying to find Marlo was also hilarious. The scene where one of Marlo's guys takes a gun out from the car but luckily one of Marlo's other soldiers tells him they should talk to Marlo first. Marlos scene in the tire shop with Vinsion was also a great scene. Loosing the wiretap over a dog was hilarious.

Great scenes throughout but the best scene is Omar hitting the poker room right when Marlo wins. Omar drops so many great lines throughout this entire scene one after the other. "I don't know about cards but I think these four fives beat a full house" "Man money ain't got no owners only spenders " "Boy you got me confused with a man who repeats himself." That security guard's story is heartbreaking. Chris and Snoop's interaction after boarding up his body was great. Chris and Snoop watching Michael. Bodie giving in to Chris and Snoop but not being a suck up neither. "Well I told little Kevin right there to shoot yall both in the head. But seen as he done walked away.." "oh you funny" "Yeah." Michael being distant from Cutty sucked given his tragic backstory and how Cutty could have maybe been the positive force to stray him away from the life. Omar meeting Prop Joe was great. "Disturbs the sleep." "Oh I bet it do." All of the homicide cops pulling prank after prank on Kima was great. The return of Herc to the detail and everybody being gone was great. Lester and McNulty trying to get McNulty to drink was great. Bunk missing McNulty's hook up tips was great. "Jimmyyyyy!" Bunk yelling his name in the bar was hilarious. Marlo's talk with Prop Joe was also great. Michael walking past his mother who clearly is not fit to be one and helping his brother get settled with his homework was sweet. Randy getting caught and having to snitch sucks. Cutty finding out that the kids only have to show up 2 days in an entire year was great. "Nah man. School is school!" Cutty and the Deacon was great. "A good church man is always up in everybody's shit." Prez trying to talk to the kids about that whole classroom fight was great.

Marlo wears the crown and he seems to be enjoying it very much. It actually seems like a normalish guy when talking to Spiros because he doesn't need to prove how hard he is to Spiros. Spiros doesn't give a shit. Spiros shows Marlo how pictures on a phone work and Marlo listens with a confused look on his face. Marlo seems human again when smiling at Chris hanging out with his family and being cool with Chris stopping by his family. Seeing Chris with his family really adds alot of humanity to Chris. He seems to really care about his family and hates that he can't stay with them for a while because Omar is on the hunt. Dukie sadly getting beat up by Spider and then trying to learn boxing with Cutty but failing at it. Dukie's talk with Cutty hits hard. "Like...how do you get from here to the rest of the world." "I wish I knew." Dukies a smart kid not born for the streets but he's stuck there so he's in a world where he keeps getting beaten down. If only he knew the world out there wasn't like that. Bubbles getting a negative on the HIV test and being sad because he believes he deserves to be punished. Herc giving Marlo's cell to Carver. Templeton making up more bullshit. Greggs is assigned to work with McNulty which Bunk realizes stops her from working her actual real murder case. McNulty tells her to keep working her case. Beadie's talk with Bunk was heartbreaking. McNulty's ex wife giving him advice on how his relationship with Beadie is falling apart. Omar and Donnie ambushed in Monk's apartment. R.I.P Donnie he had great choice in music. O-Dogg, Snoop, Chris, and Michael ambush Omar and pin him down leaving him hiding behind a couch for cover. Then Omar pulls a batshit crazy insane move and jumps out of the fourth story window and pulls some Spiderman shit. "What the?"- Snoop. Chris, Snoop, and Michael look over the balcony and Omar has pulled some Michael Myers shit and is no where to be seen.

The opening scene with the kid catching the stray round was one of the most heartbreaking moments of the entire show. The duck dying was another heartbreaking moment. McNulty's british accent is hilarious and that scene is super meta considering the actor is British so it's a British guy doing a british accent that a white guy would do. The brothel scene was hilarious. Bunny Colvin showing up was great. Bodie tossing the guns only for them to land on the deck of a ship was hilarious and the interrogation scene between Bodie and the two cops was even more hilarious. Bodie and Stringers scenes together were great. Stringer going behind Avon's back with Prop Joe was a great scene. Brother Mouzone's arrival super early was great. Drunk Ziggy trying to fight Nick after his duck died was great. Stringer and Avon talking about the possible proposition with Joe was great."You don't think I'm gonna send any of my people up against Brother? Shit, That nigga got more bodies on him than a Chinese cemetery."- Prop Joe

Best scene was Frank's rant too Bruce. Great acting. Frank giving money to the injured guy's wife and his friend asking where he got that money was a great scene that summed up his character. All of the reactions to D'Angelos death were great. Stringer Bell is extremely unsettling when interacting with D'Angelo's family. The scene at the funeral where he is comforting D'Angelo's mom with his hand on her shoulder is super unsettling due to the fact that he is the one that is responsible for the murder of her son. Avon and Stringer's jail talk was great. Avon dealing with D'Angelo's death was a great part of the episode. Prop Joe and Stringer talking was great. The whole tennis ball story was great. One of the most intense scenes of the show was Carver chasing after that tennis ball with a bug in it. 1,250 dollars. Greggs talking with Prez in the car was great. Daniels saying he refuses to take the 14 jane doe's but then taking them eventually really sums up his character on how doing the right thing holds him back but he does it anyways. Zig getting messed with in the bar was hilarious. The opening scene with Bodie talking about D'Angelo and looking in the flower store was great. D'Angelo and Poot at D'Angelo's funeral hit hard. Always great to have another scene with poot. "You happen to be white" Frog and Nick talking was great.

Michael, Bugs, and Dukie go to six flags. Michael checking on his corner and Monk drops one of The Wire's most iconic lines. "Nice dolphin nigga" McNulty continues on his insane plane but it's hilarious when no one cares. "This is the hard part, getting these guys to give a shit." Bunk still outraged by McNulty's batshit crazy plan. He tries to get Lester to talk McNulty out of it and the plan backfires and Lester ends up joining McNulty. Burrell brings in the wrong stats and crosses Carcetti for the last time. Davis trying to get Burrell and Carcetti to back him. Vondas rejecting Marlo's money. Marlo going to prop joe to help get clean money through money laundering. Marlo visiting the Antilles and kind of being very clueless because outside the street Marlo isn't much. Joe refuses to help him find Marlo. Cheese giving Chris info on Butchie. "Now where my cheese at man?" Butchie's sad ending. Chris and Snoop torture Butchie by shooting him in the leg but Butchie stands tall and refuses to give up Omar. Chris shooting Big Guy in the leg and telling him to make sure Omar hears this.

McNulty singing in his car and crashing was great. Carver getting his money back from the lost bug through a fake informant "Fuzzy Dunlop" (Hercs cousin) was hilarious. Frank's talk about how he was flagged and he wasn't to be disconnected even though he didn't pay his phone bill was great. The decoy container scene was great. Ziggy and his duck was great. McNulty finally being a good person and deciding nothing good will come from being with Beadie was a great scene for both of them. Poot and Bodie driving the other crew out was great. The main dude from the other crew was dressed like he was gonna graduate lmao.

The return of Carver and his talk with Daniels was a great scene. McNulty and Bubs talking at the boat about how Omar came at Bubs with a shotgun was great. Lester coming back was also great. Zig and nick talking at the bar about how he doesn't have money for zig and how Cheese is gonna kill zig. Stringer talking to his teacher about business in order to use that information for drug selling was great. Omar talking to the lawyer and Mcnulty talking on the sidelines was great. Frank's angry speech against Bunk was great acting. McNulty and Omar buying him court clothes was a definite highlight of the episode. "it's a look" "No it ain't" Bunk and Beadie talking about how they have no informants is great. A cop is only as good as their informants. The montage of Carver and Kima on the roof while Herc gets his "props" and manages to blend in with white gangsters. "All in the props baby all in the props" Stringer hanging out with D'Angeglo's girl and picking up D'Angelo's son was unsettling especially on a rewatch. "Your father bucking us little man" Nick meeting Cheese and Cheese blowing up the car was great. Ziggy explaining to Nick how computers work was great. Frank's outsmarting of bunk by explaining the computer system was great. "They playing us" String meeting up with all of the dealers to come up with ideas was great.

Best scenes include D'Angelo's story about killing that one girl and the McNulty and Bunk investigation after it. No- Heart Anthony discussion scenes are also great especially the one where Bubbles says he's embarrassed to be a snitch for Kima after she doesn't know who no heart Anthony is. The basketball scene where Avon learns that Omar is gay is hilarious. The scene where McNulty talks with Lester and we learn his backstory is pretty great with the whole being a paper pusher for 13 years and four months. Herc apologizing to Bodie's grandmother was great and added a bit to his character.

Bubbles at the meeting and his jokes about being so high he was like a scarecrow or a Christmas tree. Bubbles failing to continue on about Sherrod. Sherrod's name being mentioned already has him turning around. Templeton interviewing people and finding no one interesting was hilarious. He ultimately makes up some bullshit and it gets published despite having no evidence to back it. Marlo, Snoop, and Michael scoping out the place of one of their targets. Michael speaking his mind and questioning why they have to kill a man who might have even have said that Marlo is gay even there theres no evidence, and even Michael points out everyone knows Marlo isn't. Chris pointing out that it doesn't matter if he said it or not people think he did. Snoop cutting the wires of the camera. Michael watching out back and seeing a kid run past. Some of Marlo's guys might have even killed that kid due to being a witness but Michaels different. Kima finding the kid hiding in the closet and carrying him out. Marlo going to jail to meet Serge and finding Avon!!!!!! instead. Avon fantastic as always. Avon catching Marlo off guard. "Let me find your tongue." Avon negotiating and saying if he wants to talk to Serge he must first give his sister 100 thousand. Avon still looking out for his sister. Burrell not backing Senator Davis. Freeman working the senator Davis but still on his own free time he watches Marlo's meeting places seeing that they have fallen into a pattern but the cops can't move on it because of the budget constraints. Freemen and McNulty messing with that one fed dude by driving the car back and forth. McNulty and Bunk going to do the probable overdose corpse and McNulty getting a dangerous idea and staging the body to look like a murder. Bunk is absolutely caught off guard and shocked.

Great introduction to all of the characters. Some of the best scenes of the episode included D'Angelo talking with Wee Bey about the rules in front of that glowing building which was easily the best shot scene of the episode. The court room scene with McNulty and Stringer Bell was great especially when stringer bell shows him that drawing. The Bunk and McNulty scene of them hanging out at the railroad tracks was also a fantastic scene. Snot Boogie opening scene was great. This episode does not deserve to be this low but for me personally it is this low because this is the hardest obstacle to overcome when watching the series. The Wire is a show that doesn't hold your hand so it catches a lot of people off guard because most shows add a big wow moment in the first episode. I grudgingly continued to episode 2 and then to episode 3. Thank god I didn't quit and watched episode 3 cause episode 3 is when I started to get interested in the show. Always tell people to watch at least episode 3.

The Major Crimes Unit being cut once again ending the investigation into the vacant murders. Daniels pointing out that solving 22 murders means less than dealing with Clay Davis. All of the cops fighting and having to deal with the budget cuts. Carver trying to control them but struggling with it. The two cops fighting in the parking lot. This episode really highlights the consequences of Carcetti's selfish decision. Meanwhile Herc is doing great with his new job. Chris Partlow looking into Sergei. Chris Partlow asking Daniels, Bond, and Rhonda for directions in the court house. Kind of touches upon the theme of how within the streets everyone knows Christ Partlow but in the world outside the streets he's a nobody. This theme is heavily enforced later in the season after a tragic death. Dukie on the corner and still struggling to get respect. Michael paying him to look after his brother instead. Bubbles in his sister's basement and still dealing with the fact that she doesn't trust him. But she is justified because who knows how many times Bubbles has broken her trust. Bubbles working an actual job as a rush hour distributor. Also the journalist stuff which is probably my least favorite storyline in the show but what it has to say is extremely important especially regarding how well it has aged. The bar scene is the episode's best scene with Bunk Kima and Lester talking about planning out a robbery and having McNulty as the getaway driver. "Every plan, a weak link." The crew watching Marlo and watching them from the rooftops and Marlo already knowing McNulty is there because of one his guys spotted McNulty climbing the building.

I liked this episode more on rewatch which means I'll like this season more than the first time watching because now I know exactly what the show was going for and how it tackled different areas of baltimore and not just the streets vs the cops. McNulty's scenes were the the best of the episode especially his scenes with drunk bunk constantly bothering him about omar, his scenes with Landsman and how Landsman was probably the one who told Rawls that he didn't want to go to the boat, the introduction of Beadie is great and she grows to become one of the best characters and she gives me major Fargo vibes, pryzbylewski trying to get his father in law's attention was great, Mcnulty pulling out the charts on the dead body was the best scene of the episode. Lining up the charts and fucking with Rawls again was great. Rawls reaction was great. "The price of tides" Stringer and Bodie scene was great where Stringers finding out who he can trust. Stringers scene with Avon in prison was great. Stringer getting screwed over was another great scene and his pissed off reaction to them bullshitting and saying that Avon could be a snitch because he got a shorter time in prison was also great. The meeting with the Greek was great and Frank Sabatoka was fantastic as always.

Best scene is Omar ambushing Bubs. "snitching bubbs" Avon playing video games in prison on a super small screen was great and D'Angelo saying he's out. Stringer saying "I gotta midterm I gotta study" is great and his dissapointed look at the fact that Avon is probably get out earlier is great. Dinner scene paralleling Greggs and Daniels was the second best scene. The return of most of the squad meeting Prez was great. Mcnulty saying he never lost Omar despite the fact that he has is great. McNulty in his car scenes with old music was great and him going up to a corner and asking where's omar like he could possibly get an answer was hilarious. McNulty tracking down Bubs was great. Bubs talking to the older guy and the old guy saying something along the lines like if you want to find omar you just stand on a corner with a big ass package was a definite highlight of the episode. Frank and Nick's opening scene was great. Lester and Bunk intimidating Frank was also great.

The scene where Bunk and Lester question the no english speakers was great. McNulty thinking his smart and coming to Bunk and Lester with the information was hilarious because Bunk and Lester already know it before hand and mess with him. All of Omar's scenes great as always. Those two girls robbing the place Omar was talking about robbing before hand was great, and Omar confronting them was great. McNulty meeting Daniels in the evidence room was great. Avon and D'Angelo in prison was great. Butchie's first appearance was awesome. The heroin scene with all of the deaths and Avon and D'Angelo's talk beforehand in the library was a highlight. Beadie's scenes were great.

The Greek's arrival and the interrogation of Sam was a great scene. Beadie's scenes were great especially the scene where she first meets McNulty and they investigate the shipment. The scenes of Bunk and Lester and everyone in the office waiting to see Rawl's reactions were great. McNulty purposely looking into police departments lines in order to fuck over Rawls again was great. The stealing of the surveillance van and loading it up into the shipping container was a fun scene. Weebey's scenes were hilarious especially when the guard comes in and takes all of his stuff and then smashes his container of fake plastic fishes (lol) and Weebey gets surprisingly really upset. Avon trying to talk to the guard and the guard telling him off was great and Avon's surprised look. The return of D'Angelo was a nice scene.
