high6-low7/10, so controversial opinion; I don't love this movie as everyone else did but I did like it more than the first by at least 2 or 1 point. It was paced better and so was the action. The cgi was more consistent and so was the cinematography. It looked gorgeous. The acting was pretty good though I wouldn't really write home about anything especially timonthy who I think did great at times but also at others would mug the camera with a model face like he was posing. Not like he doesn't do that all the time but it was very noticeable here. The story has improved and I noticed I was paying more attention now than the first although by the third act I was starting to not to. The fight was also anticlimactic. I don't know maybe seeing it for a second time will help like it did the first to clear things up but for now this belongs near the bottom or as a guilty pleasure.

solidtohigh5/10, very very mid. The metaphors were very obvious and the point they were making wasn't anything new, neither was the story or acting. Honestly I don't see why you would want to see this again because most of it is just surface level. If you want a better space film where the guy goes insane then watch Moon(2009). Not that Adam Sandler did a bad job but i was simply just unimpressed. The special effects and the set were well done but I wish they were in service of the story rather than there just to glide around. Yeah yeah I get it, he's very distant with his relationship as shown by him being in space and the spider is his conscience. It's like a student art films first film with a budget. See it if you like scifi but don't expect the best of the best. You probably won't feel like youre getting it here. Very repetitive and very shallow. Chernobyl was way way better, stick to that material mate

high10-low1/10, one of the best so bad it's good movies in quite some time. The editing is fucking CRAZY, the 180 rule was thrown out the fucking window in part to show we truly are apart of her web, the acting and action were done by infants in adult bodies and the directing and cinematography was done by someone blind in an infants body. The writing makes me feel like the Coens and the story had to been done by a guy tortured, making up a story out of their ass as they go. Truly the new 2001 of our time. Bow down to Lady Web, she traps all in her snare and fests like a pig consuming a dead body. I shutter to imagine what this director makes next. Maybe they make a movie about us? That's scary. It could be you, it could me! it can eve--
