Votes: 190,488

The internet misogynists review-bombed this show, but that's all the more reason to give it a 10/10! 9/10 for my enjoyment, and the extra star to piss off those who may concern.

A great fucking jorney. Love daisy despite all her flaws and imperfections. Glad she was the one that saved herself in the end. An extra star because I just love Daisy so much.

Stars: Matt Smith, Emma D'Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Rhys Ifans

Votes: 377,083

Rhaenyra! Rhaenyra! Rhaenyra! IMDB is so real for properly addressing her as Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen. A thousands times better than GoT in terms of not objectifying and over-sexualising women! I was so obssessed with this show when it came out.

4. The End of the F***ing World (2017–2019)

Stars: Jessica Barden, Alex Lawther, Steve Oram, Christine Bottomley

Votes: 220,274

Simply brilliant! Brilliant cast, brilliant characters, brilliant story, brilliant lines, brilliant music. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Its existence proves that teen shows can be quirky, romantic, and thought-provoking without being overly cringy or unnecessariliy dark.

5. Wednesday (2022– )

Follows Wednesday Addams' years as a student, when she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a killing spree, and solve the mystery that embroiled her parents.

Stars: Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White

Votes: 362,302

Enjoyed it. Love Wednesday and her family dynamics. Just wish there was less cringy teenage love triangle stuff.

Stars: Josefine Frida Pettersen, Iman Meskini, Ulrikke Falch, Lisa Teige

Votes: 38,633

THE show that started it all. The show that opened my mind. Love the girls (and the boys). An extra star for sentimental reasons

7. Young Royals (2021–2024)

Prince Wilhelm adjusts to life at his prestigious new boarding school, Hillerska, but following his heart proves more challenging than anticipated.

Stars: Edvin Ryding, Omar Rudberg, Malte Gårdinger, Frida Argento

Votes: 44,093

How could this teenage gay boy romance be so good? This is like a Swedish Dead Poets Society with a different tone. It just has so much depth about modern royalty and responsibility, social classes, sexuality, mental health, family, and lives of teens that are more or less fucked up by their parents. All whilst not being cringy at all.

8. Bridgerton (2020– )

TV-MA | 60 min | Drama, Romance

The eight close-knit siblings of the Bridgerton family look for love and happiness in London high society.

Stars: Nicola Coughlan, Luke Newton, Julie Andrews, Jessica Madsen

Votes: 169,045

Say whatever you want about this series, but you cannot deny the romance and the tension in Bridgerton. Truely swoon-worthy love stories.

9. Lockwood & Co. (2023)

TV-14 | 44 min | Action, Adventure, Drama

Stars: Ruby Stokes, Cameron Chapman, Ali Hadji-Heshmati, Jack Bandeira

Votes: 25,978

Very enjoyable. The music choice is bonkers. Love the actors' dynamic. The acting isn't perfect, but the actors are basically babies. Let them grow. Also hoping for a season 2

10. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013–2020)

TV-PG | 45 min | Action, Adventure, Drama

The missions of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division.

Stars: Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Iain De Caestecker

Votes: 226,044

The show I followed from season one through three. Such a shame that I stopped before season 4. When I watched the whole 7 seasons back in 2022, I was obssessed. The plot isn't perfect all the time, but there have been some great episodes (including the majority of season 4). For season 5, though I already knew that the earth isn't going to exploded from the later MCU movies, the sword of damocles was so fucking heavy, and the stakes wer so fucking high. I think is is mainly due to the connection we've established with the show characters during the pervious seasons. Their dynamics and develeopment is the greatest I've ever seen. FitzSimmons is the greatest couple in Tv history. And the ending was so good, everyone gets an (almost) satisfying ending. But hopefully the end of the series is not the end of their storys. Secret Invasion I'm hinting strongly at you.

11. Fleabag (2016–2019)

TV-MA | 30 min | Comedy, Drama

Series adapted from the award-winning play about a young woman trying to cope with life in London whilst coming to terms with a recent tragedy.

Stars: Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Sian Clifford, Olivia Colman, Jenny Rainsford

Votes: 201,830

Absolutely brilliant! Was going to give it a 9, but found it unfair to take the perfect score from it just because I was born reserved. I love fleabag, I love her relationship with her sister. I also love her sister. Fleabag is not a mess (contrary to some's opinion), she is just as confused as any other woman in this world. I love that she is a "bad feminist", I love that she is not exactly a lesbian. I love her personality. I feel bad for what she has been through, I feel bad for the mistakes she's made. I felt heartbroken for her and the priest, I also feel happy that it will pass. Damn that's such an iconic line. You don't feel much when you first hear it. But as every second passes it becomes clearer and clearer for you how cruel, innocent and true that sentence is. Love will pass. And that is our hope. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is brilliant.

12. Normal People (2020)

TV-14 | 28 min | Drama, Romance

Follows Marianne and Connell, from different backgrounds but the same small town in Ireland, as they weave in and out of each other's romantic lives.

Stars: Paul Mescal, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Desmond Eastwood, Aislín McGuckin

Votes: 91,144

I mean... it isn't bad. It is just tiring. I'm exhasted watching this will they wont they together-breakup-together-breakup-together- ambition breaks us apart thing. I dont want this so called "reality" when it's just unnecessry drama and vague character personalities. Like the new york uni part felt so uncessary. Like seriously why can't you be together??? (especially after watching daisy jones and the six). I love marianne though, she's really pretty, and I don't want to see her broken. I'm also surprised at the level of nudity, like I fully did not expect to see connell's wiener out. It wasn't overly sexual and disguating though, I think the females on the production team did that for us. The plot also feels american somehow.

13. Crashing (2016)

TV-MA | 30 min | Comedy

A comedy series following the lives of six 20- and 30-somethings living together as property guardians of a large, disused hospital.

Stars: Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Jonathan Bailey, Julie Dray, Louise Ford

Votes: 26,171

Oh fuck why isn't there a second season? After that ending! After this whole fucking mess! Like I need closure! This is 100% not a closure. Other than that the show is still brilliant. PWB is good as usual, jonathan bailey is such a little girly. The tension between lulu and anthony is so fucking intensen (and unresolved). I'm pretty sure they've been in love with each other since they were 14 (semi-unconciously though). This hot fucking "cheater" mess is so annoying when it's unresolved (yet strangely addictive). Like I spent days trying to get over daisy jones and the six, and that was a story with proper closure and a happy ending (20 years later). I'm feeling sick right now.

14. This Is Going to Hurt (2022)

TV-14 | 45 min | Biography, Comedy, Drama

Set on Labour Ward with all its hilarity and heart-lifting highs but also its gut-wrenching lows, the show delivers a brutally honest depiction of life as a junior doctor on the wards, and the toll the job can take back home.

Stars: Ben Whishaw, Ambika Mod, Rory Fleck Byrne, Michele Austin

Votes: 18,095

I think this is objectively a good show. What happened to shruti breaks my heart. I'm glad that adam told nothing but the truth in the hearing. I was worrying and slightly disappointed during the first half of the last episode. I am glad that he didn't give up his career. I hope everything gets better, both in this and in real life. Oh also labor is horrible, being a woman sucks (genuinely).

15. Spinning Out (2020)

TV-MA | 48 min | Drama, Sport

A figure skating Olympic hopeful's struggle to balance love, family and fragile mental health as her dream of winning takes a dizzying hold.

Stars: Kaya Scodelario, January Jones, Willow Shields, Evan Roderick

Votes: 17,137

One of those shows that is painful to watch, but I love kaya scodelario so much that I'm going to give it an 8. (replace her with a mid actor and this is a 6-7). Typical american drama, “狗血”, so to speak. A lot to say, huge ambitions, but sometimes cheesy and one the noise. The Chinese representation was actually not bad (at least above average, even to today's / 2023's standards). But Jenn, please just stop falling for the white boys, and this is all so heart-breaking. Oh btw this show is cancelled after one season so we will never know. The skating scences are beautiful, kaya/kat is so good, dasha's also good, carol's actor isn't quite there yet, but to be fair the character is annoying and obnoxious even after taking bipolar into account. (moral of the story: do not have offsprings if you have major genetic illnesses). Personally I don't actively vibe with justin but if he's good enough for kat he's good enough for me. And serously why the doctor shit??? Haven't Jenn kat and serena suffered enough? And to think that there's no follow-ups... Kat's episode was so painful to watch (accurate though), and her mother was actually the one that encouraged her to get off the meds... But again I just love kat/kaya I watched the entire show for her.

16. Lucifer (2016–2021)

TV-14 | 4,393 min | Crime, Drama, Fantasy

Lucifer Morningstar has decided he's had enough of being the dutiful servant in Hell and decides to spend some time on Earth to better understand humanity. He settles in Los Angeles - the City of Angels.

Stars: Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Kevin Alejandro, D.B. Woodside

Votes: 356,276

Not perfect but does offers you some of the new fresh and arguably unique opinions out there. Yes there are fillers and inconsistencies and confusing plots, all the flaws of long shows. But I do care about the characters, and deckerstar of course. Also for a adapted-from-comics male lead male created film, this show is surprisingly not actually misogynistic, with hints of feminisim in some of the characters. Like lucifer is actually quite a nice person/devil/angle. Do I want to see more of chole and lucifer's life consulling in hell? Absoultely. Do I think their will be a movie/ new season/ spin off? No. Negative, I'm not delulu on this .

17. Heartstopper (2022– )

TV-14 | 30 min | Drama, Romance

Teens Charlie and Nick discover their unlikely friendship might be something more as they navigate school and young love in this coming-of-age series.

Stars: Joe Locke, Kit Connor, William Gao, Yasmin Finney

Votes: 76,599

There's nothing wrong with it, except the cringeness and imperfections and the baby actings. I mean it's not bad, and you do care about the characters, but there's young royals out there, so this is definitely not the best teen gay man drama out there.

18. Please Like Me (2013–2016)

TV-MA | 29 min | Comedy, Drama, Romance

Twenty something Josh is going through a number of big changes as he navigates his first decade of adulthood. After being dumped by his girlfriend, he comes to the realization that he is gay.

Stars: Josh Thomas, Thomas Ward, John, Debra Lawrance

Votes: 19,777

There are some very good episodes. I learned a lot about depression and bipolar from it (not sure if it's accurate though). The creater is male whose best friend and sexual orientation are male, so I can't really expect much feminisim. But it was ok. I like almost all the female characters.

19. Conversations with Friends (2022)

TV-MA | 30 min | Drama, Romance

Two Dublin college students, Frances and Bobbi, and the strange and unexpected connection they forge with married couple, Melissa and Nick.

Stars: Alison Oliver, Sasha Lane, Joe Alwyn, Jemima Kirke

Votes: 9,071

interesting, also slightly confusing. makes one think about polyamory, even though that might be the intention. I'd say don't fall for guys, but I know it's not that easy.

20. Game of Thrones (2011–2019)

TV-MA | 60 min | Action, Adventure, Drama

Nine noble families fight for control over the lands of Westeros, while an ancient enemy returns after being dormant for millennia.

Stars: Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Lena Headey

Votes: 2,286,790

Really really good, but inherently misogynistic despite the strong female characters: in the end the males always wins. Also extremely male-gaze. Really good though, except the ending.

21. Secret Invasion (2023)

TV-14 | 261 min | Action, Adventure, Drama

Fury and Talos try to stop the Skrulls who have infiltrated the highest spheres of the Marvel Universe.

Stars: Samuel L. Jackson, Emilia Clarke, Don Cheadle, Kingsley Ben-Adir

A woman who moves into an apartment across the hall from two brilliant but socially awkward physicists shows them how little they know about life outside of the laboratory.

Stars: Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg

Votes: 868,742

My comfort show. Every woman is married in the end, but there have been sparks of female voices. I mostly like the science and nerdy part.

23. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003)

TV-14 | 44 min | Action, Drama, Fantasy

A young woman, destined to slay vampires, demons and other infernal creatures, deals with her life fighting evil, with the help of her friends.

Stars: Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nicholas Brendon, Alyson Hannigan, Anthony Head

Votes: 159,839

Solid one. An early attempt at female empowerment (by male producers), though sometimes the incel% is too high too unbearable, I love buffy and willow (most of the time, when her charactering is not being assasinated). Spike is a weird one, surprisingly likeable though (probably due to the lack of toxic masulinity and insecurity). Giles is also good.

24. Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013–2021)

TV-14 | 22 min | Comedy, Crime

Comedy series following the exploits of Det. Jake Peralta and his diverse, lovable colleagues as they police the NYPD's 99th Precinct.

Stars: Andy Samberg, Stephanie Beatriz, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero

Votes: 363,790

Stars: Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Louisa Harland, Tara Lynne O'Neill, Kathy Kiera Clarke

Votes: 58,516

more like 8.5 actually

26. The Royals (2015–2018)

TV-14 | 42 min | Drama

Drama about a fictional British royal family in modern-day London.

Stars: Joan Collins, William Moseley, Alexandra Park, Jake Maskall

Votes: 14,037

americans doing british royals, so it felt american, but not so bad. Directed by male americans, so you would expect some male gaze. But I could endure it, and I enjoyed the show. Again its all about the characters. Most of the members of the royal family are somewhat likeable (except robert, and probably cyrus), especially the twins. I love eleanor, and liam has grown so much. Eleanor and jasper great ship too. The drama was also great, I dont care if it is cliche or lacks originality. Nothing under the sun is new (literally). Shame that they cancelled it, and it will never be bought back because its been too long, just like spinning out. (kat baker and princess eleanor I think I have a type, also jasper is very attrative, win win!)

27. Skins (2007–2013)

TV-MA | 46 min | Drama

The story of a group of British teens who are trying to grow up and find love and happiness despite questionable parenting and teachers who would rather be friends (and lovers) than authority figures.

Stars: Kaya Scodelario, Nicholas Hoult, Joe Dempsie, Hannah Murray

Votes: 93,133
