As one of the stars of HBO’s “The White Lotus: Sicily,” Michael Imperioli has a strong shot at sharing in a Screen Actors Guild Award win for Best TV Drama Ensemble. He stands apart from his cast mates in that he has triumphed in this category before, for “The Sopranos” in 2000 and 2008. His potential third victory would put him in the company of just two other actors who have won this award for two different series. As it happens, they both also initially prevailed as members of the “Sopranos” cast.
The SAG Awards club Imperioli is looking to join was initiated by Greg Antonacci, who won Best TV Drama Ensemble for “The Sopranos” in 2008 and “Boardwalk Empire” in 2011. Dominic Chianese then met the criteria by being awarded for the same two shows in 2000 and 2012, respectively. “Boardwalk Empire” star Steve Buscemi, who shared in the series’ two ensemble wins, was...

Recently, HBO released the new, official synopsis/spoilers for their upcoming "Boardwalk Empire" episode 2 of season 5. The episode is entitled, "The Good Listener," and it sounds quite interesting as Nucky shows back up on the scene after getting caught up in a dangerous Cuba encounter, and more. In the new, 2nd episode press release: Back from Cuba after a dangerous encounter, Nucky is going to pay a visit to the now-retired Johnny Torrio (Greg Antonacci), who agrees to broker a meeting with the new “Boss of Bosses,” Salvatore Maranzano (Giampiero Judica). Nucky Thompson has impressively wielded his extensive power and resources throughout the run of Boardwalk Empire. Though he may have only embraced his "full gangster" recently, Thompson has proven to be quite adept at political maneuvering and rallying the troops to vanquish whatever enemy dared to threaten his position as King of Atlantic City. However, now that he's facing someone as violent and dangerous as Gyp Rosetti, Nucky can't rely on the long-con anymore; he can't wait for the right moment to strike or Gyp will have gotten too powerful to take down.
But is it already too late?
Below are the dates, episode names, episode descriptions, and repeat airings for the next four episodes of Boardwalk Empire's third season.
Sunday, November 4th - "Pony"
Gillian (Gretchen Mol) makes her peace with Jimmy’s death, though not with Nucky (Steve Buscemi), as Gyp (Bobby Cannavale) arrives to play ally.

Once upon a time television was where people who used to be in the movies went to die. I’m not qualified to pinpoint the exact moment where that all changed, but it definitely has. Arguably American cable channel HBO has trumped the movies, wedding the slick production values and top talent of Hollywood with a format that allows for vastly extended running times. This has enabled complex and incredibly dense dramas (like The Wire, Deadwood and now Michael Mann’s Luck) to flourish, telling stories that just wouldn’t fit comfortably into two hours – aimed at a mature audience driven from the multiplex. Martin Scorsese – director of the pilot episode of the phenomenal Boardwalk Empire – has likened this elongated form to the novel, effectively positioning movies as short stories by comparison.
The first season of Boardwalk Empire is as eye-catching and exciting a marriage of...

Ep. 12 Preview
We're not entirely sure what to expect from the Season 1 finale of "Boardwalk Empire" Sunday night (Dec. 5), but knowing Nucky (Steve Buscemi), it'll be emotional.
In the episode innocuously titled "Return to Normalcy," Election Day has arrived, and all of Atlantic City is bracing itself. It's a time for reflection, and Margaret (Kelly Macdonald) has come quite a long way from when she was a battered housewife. But does her new position -- with all its implications of power and sin -- sit well with her?
Jimmy (Michael Pitt), Van Alden (Michael Shannon) and Eli (Shea Wingham) are also thinking of what the future holds, while Johnny Torrio (Greg Antonacci) is the go-between for two enemies.
We're sure it'll all end happily and no one will scream or get offed in any violent way. Then again, the clip's "Retribution is coming" line doesn't bode well. Whose retribution?...
