If you're a fan of Stephen King's It, there's a new documentary in development that you're gonna want to see. The doc is called Pennywise: The Story of It and it focuses on the development of director Tommy Lee Wallace’s wonderfully made 2-part TV miniseries adaptation that was made in 1990. It specifically focuses on actor Tim Curry‘s incredible portrayal of Pennywise the Clown.
As you know, there's a new film currently in development that looks pretty damn scary. With the resurgence and popularity of It, filmmaker John Campopiano and his team of investigators have announced this new doc they are producing, and they started an IndieGogo campaign to help raise the funds they need to complete it.
One of the coolest things is, they've got Tim Curry on board to talk about his time shooting the film as Pennywise! I'm sure the guy has some great stories! Campopiano...

Reviews like this are tough, because a movie like Return of the Living Dead has been discussed-to-death on the internet for at least the last two decades. What can one possibly say that another hasn’t already? In addition to that, this is also the third Blu-ray release of the film I have seen. There was the disappointing MGM release in 2010, and then much better Second Sight release from the UK that dropped in 2012 and resurrected the original audio track containing the songs that were cut from the Us release. And here comes Scream Factory to topple them all. Sorry to spoil my review, but this is the definitive Blu-ray release of Return of the Living Dead. I have never seen this movie look so beautiful in all the years I have watched it. Couple with that, the fact that there are several audio options for you to choose from,...

It’s hard to believe that the same year George A. Romero released Day of the Dead, the ultra-gory, ultra-bleak conclusion of the trilogy he began with Night of the Living Dead in 1968, writer/director Dan O’Bannon was spinning Romero’s original classic into a totally new direction with The Return of the Living Dead. Whereas Romero’s film is dark and sober, Return is pure punk rock anarchy—a horror comedy that successfully manages to be equal parts horror and comedy while introducing one of the most significant elements into the zombie mythos since Romero first made them flesh-eaters 17 years earlier.
The film’s ingenious premise—which was “meta” before being meta was really a thing—is that the events of the original Night of the Living Dead really did take place and were covered up, with the zombies locked into airtight drums and left in the basement of a medical supply facility.

Scream Factory already gave The Return of the Living Dead fans plenty of reasons to party with their extensive special features list for the upcoming Collector’s Edition Blu-ray of the film, but now they have added one more reason to celebrate with the announcement of a new audio commentary for the release.
Scream Factory revealed on Facebook that a new audio commentary with actors Thom Mathews, John Philbin and make-up effects artist Tony Gardner will be included on the The Return of the Living Dead Collector’s Edition Blu-ray (and also the sold-out Deluxe Limited Edition Blu-ray).
With new insights from the actors who played Freddy and Chuck, respectively, as well as one of the artists who helped bring the film’s zombies to living dead life, the additional audio commentary should be a special treat for fans when the Blu-ray hits shelves on July 19th. Below, we have...

Washington, Nov mber 16: Asthma does not adversely impact a child's educational performance, a new study has concluded.
In contrast, ethnicity and social deprivation were associated with poorer educational outcomes, the researchers said.
Chris Griffiths, Professor of Primary Care at the Centre for Primary Care and Public Health, at the Blizard Institute, part of Queen Mary University of London, said: "We wanted to test whether asthma is linked with poorer academic achievement as this could affect a child's chances of success later on in life. Instead we found children with asthma did as well as, or slightly better than their peers.
