When it comes to either their signature pop-classical mashups - or their politics for that matter - Well-Strung, The Singing String Quartet, wears its heart on its sleeve. The video is Well-Strung's inventive take on the Fountains of Wayne hit 'Stacy's Mom', reimagined as a tribute to 2016 Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. The musical arrangement for strings is by Well-Strung with lyrics by Well-Strung, Jeffery Roberson amp Jacques Lamarre. The video was filmed by Blake Drummond, edited by Randy Rainbow and was produced by Mark Cortale, Matt Farber and Well-Strung.

Going to see shows in New York is a lot like drinking. Sometimes it’s like a fine wine, the taste and scent of which linger pleasantly in your memory for days, even weeks. Sometimes it’s a hearty beer had at a downtown dive, whose rough, unsophisticated flavor is a large part of its charm. Sometimes it’s an awful concoction, so syrupy sweet or amateurishly made you wish you had stayed in and had a cup of coffee instead.
And sometimes a handsome stranger hands you a drink, and you’re not exactly sure what’s in it, but the guy is so gorgeous you happily accept. Then several hours later you have this conversation with your friend.
“Are you all right?”
“Yeah, I … I think so.”
“What did you drink?”
“I don’t … I’m not sure.”
“Can you make it home okay by yourself?”
“I think so.

Good As You has information about the secret, underground Nom. I knew it ... they're Morlocks! Worried M. Night Shyamalan Fans Raise Money For the Director to Return to Film School. Below you can see Broadway Speaks Out's Marti Gould Cummings chatting with Varla Jean Merman, Leslie Jordan, and Kyle Dean Massey about their new off-Broadway show Lucky Guy, which opens April 28th at The Little Shubert Theater on 42nd Street in NYC.
Let me guess, Bret Easton Ellis has a book coming out, and he's trying to claw his way back to relevance. Or just to relevance.
That gay cemetery I mentioned a few days ago will not be happening. Kobe Bryant has "apologized" for his gay slur: "What I said last night should not be taken literally. My actions were out of frustration during the heat of the game,...

Happy 51st Birthday to queer (that's the word he uses to describe himself) singer Michael Stipe. I couldn't decide whether to use cherub Michael or gnome Michael, so I used both.
Entertainment Weekly has a handy schedule of when all of the broadcast network midseason shows will debut. I'm especially looking forward to something on The CW titled Shedding for the Wedding, which I'm hoping is a reality show about Mega-Python's nuptials. The new series Camelot debuts on Starz in April, and as you can see from the behind-the-scenes look below, they're definitely going for a grittier version than we've seen before. But will they do ... routines and chorus scenes with footwork impeccable?
As Ed mentioned in the meme this morning, Captain Honors has been suspended for those raunchy Navy videos, but how did Glenn Close get caught in the middle? One-trick pony actor R. Lee Ermey is apologizing for...
