Stars: Toni Benedetti, Jamie Evans, Jason Harvey, Tyne Roberts, John Fleming | Written and Directed by Adriana Polito
Adriana Polito, one of the producers of the superb body horror short Dysmorphia, turns her hand to writing and directing with the horror comedy She Wolf of the Woods, which follows forest ranger Amy as she goes about her day-to-day business in a small Scottish village – which just happens to include burying evidence of crimes in the woods and picking up strangers in local bars!
One such (un)lucky stranger is Ben, an American looking to trace his Scottish routes, who is picked up by Amy and taken back to her place for what he thinks will be a night of quick and easy sex. But what he doesn’t bargain on is Lucille, Amy’s room mate – who just happens to be a werewolf!

A judge in Texas has released a teenage murder suspect's confession, in which he says the 2007 film "Halloween," by heavy metal musician and film director Rob Zombie, inspired him in the slaying of his mother and sister.
"While watching it I was amazed at how at ease the boy was during the murders and how little remorse he had afterword [sic]. I was thinking to myself it would be the same for me when I kill someone," 17-year-old Jake Evans wrote in his confession, according to a copy released on Thursday by Parker County Judge Graham Quisenberry.
According to police, Evans killed his 48-year-old mother, Jamie Evans, and his 15-year-old sister, Mallory, inside their upscale Aledo home Oct. 3, 2012. In a four-page written confession police said that Evans wrote hours after his arrest, he said he watched "Halloween" three times that week.

HBO’s Game of Thrones, Showtime’s Homeland, CBS’ Big Bang Theory and FX’s Louie were among the nominees in the top categories for the annual Producers Guild of America awards.
There’s a lot of overlap here with the 2012 Emmy award nominations, with a few exceptions: HBO’s Boardwalk Empire missed landing a slot for best drama series (there were six Emmy nominees and five for PGA). While on the comedy side, HBO’s Girls and Veep weren’t nominated, but Louie was. If you’re wondering why Comedy Central’s Emmy favorite The Daily Show with Jon Stewart...
