“Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley,” based on Christie’s 1931 novel “The Sittaford Mystery,” was adapted as a series for Indian streamer SonyLIV by renowned filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj.
Set in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh, northern India, the series follows the journey of Charlie Chopra and her quest to uncover a murder mystery alongside her sidekick Sitaram. Bruna Papandrea’s Made Up Stories has inked a deal with Agatha Christie Ltd to develop a new TV series centered on Christie’s iconic sleuth Miss Marple. The ABC Murders, the latest in a series of BBC One Agatha Christie adaptations, has unveiled its cast, with John Malkovich in the key role of Hercule Poirot.
This one off three-part drama continues BBC One and Agatha Christie Limited’s production deal that will see Agatha Christie Limited and Mammoth Screen deliver six more Christie adaptations.

The BBC is to air its shelved three-part Agatha Christie drama Ordeal by Innocence with a new actor taking over from Ed Westwick.
Mammoth Screen is to re-shoot scenes with British actor Christian Cooke in the role of Mickey Argyll (reports Broadcast). Cooke’s previous credits include Channel 4 drama The Promise and Film 4 movie Cemetery Junction.
The drama had been completed last year for a Christmas tx, but was pulled following sexual allegations by two women made against Westwick, and replaced in the schedules by The Forge’s two-parter The Miniaturist.
Fellow cast members including Bill Nighy, Anna Chancellor, Anthony Boyle and Alice Eve will join Cooke on location in Scotland to shoot the new scenes.
