But as busy as her home is—you’ll spot her grandparents, best friend Raquelle and 10-year-old sister Gracie—the focus remains on the food that simmers and sizzles its way to something tasty. “I like when anyone is naturally drawn to the kitchen,” says Alex Guarnaschelli, who knew...

Big Brother meets “mangia!” in this new competition set under the Tuscan sun. Hosted and judged by Food Network royalty Alex Guarnaschelli and chef Gabriele Bertaccini, the eight-episode showdown Ciao House sends 10 American chefs to Italy’s culinary paradise to co-habitate, collaborate and, apparently, stir the pot. “Everybody comes out on the other end better for [this experience],” Guarnaschelli says. “But not without drama.” Drama is ripe for the picking in the competition’s format, which requires each chef to pick their own teams and choose someone to send home each week. Their challenges include lessons from “real-life nonnas showcasing how they make pasta from scratch to a lesson with the head butcher of a three centuries-old family butcher business,” Food Network’s logline explains. And “each challenge is accompanied by a local experience steeped in tradition.” Here, Guarnaschelli gives us the scoop on Food Network’s latest culinary battle ahead of...

Each MasterChef judge brings something unique to the television show. They provide expert-level critiques and personalities, while acting as the face of the series. The U.S. iteration started with Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliot, and Joe Bastianich, but there was only one permanent female judge on MasterChef in Christina Tosi. The most recent panel includes Ramsay, Aarón Sánchez, and Bastianich. Here’s a list of four excellent chefs that would make great judges on the show.

Animal Planet is getting ready for the biggest game of the year. We’re talking about the Puppy Bowl, of course. The annual Super Bowl Sunday showdown between Team Ruff and Team Fluff is set for Feb. 12, and we have everything you need to know about the adorable (and adoptable) players, how to watch, and more.
Puppy Bowl Xiv airs Feb. 12 on Animal Planet, TBS, and more
The Puppy Bowl has been a Super Bowl Sunday tradition for nearly 20 years, and this year’s event will take things to a whole new level. The game – which encourages people to adopt shelter pets – has traditionally aired on Animal Planet. But in 2023, it will also be broadcast on Discovery Channel and TBS.
In addition to airing live on multiple cable channels, the 2023 Puppy Bowl will also be available to stream on both HBO Max and discovery+.
The fun begins with a pre-game show at 1 p.

Exclusive: Warner Bros. Discovery is looking to take Puppy Bowl to another level as a live television event by simulcasting it across linear networks and streaming platforms from both sides of the merged company.
In its first post-merger edition, Puppy Bowl will run on its home network, Animal Planet, where it has been a staple for 19 years, as well as on TBS, the unscripted-leaning brand of the TNets, Discovery Channel as well as soon-to-be-combined Discovery+ and HBO Max.
Last year, Puppy Bowl Xviii streamed on Discovery+ in addition to its Animal Planet run; the event’s footprint has been vastly expanded this year by adding networks, TBS and Discovery, as well as a streamer, HBO Max, with wider reach.
“The puppies are taking over, and the epic battle between Ruff and Fluff is now too big for one network,” the promo for the simulcast says. (You can watch it above.
