This is anything but pretty. Former Miss Arizona Teen USA Tori Vance was arrested on suspicion of DUI on May 5, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department confirms to E! News. It seems 18-year-old Vance, who earned her crown back in 2010, was stopped after making an illegal U-turn in Hollywood. After failing a field sobriety test, she was subsequently taken in and booked. Bail was set at $5,000 and the brown-haired, green-eyed beauty queen is scheduled to appear in court on May 31. The news comes less than a week after another pageant participant, former Miss USA Rima Fakih, received six months' probation stemming from her own DUI case.

Under a new rhyming scheme spin-off model for new shows, you’ll soon be able to watch The Choice, and see celebrities submit themselves to a blind date experiment. It’s The Voice‘s “no see” format, but now eligible celebrities are choosing potential romantic partners.
It’s bound to be crazy, and some of the “celebrities” only have loose ties to the claim, but it certainly looks to be the sort of madness people will check out.
Is this show too much? Let me know your thoughts. This falls into a category of reality that I find hard to predict, and I’d love to know if people are looking forward to it.

It's a somewhat beautiful day for beauty queen Rima Fakih. After all, rather than being sentenced to time behind bars, the former Miss USA received six months' probation and 20 hours of community service in her Michigan DUI case on Wednesday. In addition to the probation and community service, 26-year-old Fakih must also pay more than $600 in fines and costs as well as attend an alcohol safety class and a victim impact class, the Detroit Free Press reports. Former Miss USA Rima Fakih has avoided a jail sentence after pleading no contest to driving while visibly impaired.
A Michigan judge this week (beg07May12) sentenced the disgraced pageant queen to six months probation and 20 hours of community service, and ordered her to attend an alcohol education course, reports TMZ.com.
Fakih was arrested in Detroit, Michigan on suspicion of drunk driving on 3 December and, according to cops, she had a half-empty bottle of wine behind her driver's seat and a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit.
She struck a deal with prosecutors in April to plead no contest to the misdemeanour charge, and in return lawyers dropped the more serious count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
In 2010, the 26-year-old beauty was the first Arab-American to be crowned Miss USA.

Former Miss USA Rima Fakih has pleaded no contest to driving while visibly impaired following her arrest in December.
The disgraced pageant queen was arrested in Detroit, Michigan on suspicion of drunk driving on 3 December and, according to cops, Fakih had a half-empty bottle of wine behind her driver's seat and a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit.
On Wednesday she struck a deal with prosecutors - just hours before she was due to stand trial for the incident - and agreed to plead no contest to the misdemeanour charge. In return, lawyers dropped the more serious count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
If convicted, Fakih faces up to 93 days behind bars when she is sentenced on 9 May, according to TMZ.com.

Highland Park, Mich. — Rima Fakih, the first Arab-American to be crowned Miss USA, pleaded no contest Wednesday in a Michigan drunken driving case.

"You learn, you pay your price for making mistakes and you move on. I'm very happy I can put this behind me," Fakih said outside the court in Highland Park, an enclave of Detroit.
A no contest plea isn't an admission of guilt but is treated as such for sentencing, which will take place May 9. She faces a maximum of 93 days in jail.
A trial had been planned before 30th District Court Judge Brigette Officer on the original charges of drunken driving, careless driving and having an open container of alcohol, all misdemeanors.

We think Rima Fakih may not quite understand the term "designated driver." The former Miss USA was arrested on on suspicion of drunk driving on early Saturday in Michigan, after blowing a .20% blood alcohol level -- two and a half times the legal limit.
Now, her lawyer has revealed details of the incident... including the fact that Fakih was acting as designated driver when she was pulled over. Attorney Doraid Elder tells the Detroit Free Press that Fakih was driving her friend's car -- because her friend was too drunk to drive.
Apparently, Fakih realized that she, too, was too drunk to be behind the wheel after she'd been driving for a brief period. She was pulling over to the side of the road when the police spotted her.
Tweets were sent out from Fakih's Twitter account claiming that she was not the person arrested, but they were quickly removed.
