The USA Network drama “Psych” has been off the air for a few years, but the love that its fans (Aka “Psych-os”) have for the show is still intense. “We sort of had this contract with our fans,” star James Roday told IndieWire, “that we’re pretty sure we know what you like, and we promise to give you that 85 percent of the time, if you let us have 15 percent to let us do things that make us giggle, too. And that became what ‘Psych’ was.”
It’s an attitude that still forms the foundation of the series, which returns to television Thursday for a feature-length adventure (timed to the holidays) featuring the beloved characters. The series, which premiered in 2006, followed fake psychic detective Shawn Spencer (Roday) and his best friend Gus (Dulé Hill) as they solved all manner of crimes. There’s no bigger David Letterman fan in the world than Jimmy Kimmel. And on Monday night, Kimmel lived up to his hero’s late night legacy.
Kimmel’s heartfelt 13-minute monologue about the birth of his son Billy, who underwent successful open-heart surgery at just 3 days old, was positively Letterman-esque.

At one point during his Monday open, Kimmel pulled out a sheet of paper and gave truly heartfelt thanks for the doctors and nurses who saved Billy’s life. It was reminiscent of the time that Letterman, recovering from heart surgery, brought out the doctors who saved his life.

The Nanny may have run from 1993 to 1999, but its legacy will be with us for a lifetime. The show gave us one of the all-time great television theme songs, a classic will they/won’t they relationship between Mr. Sheffield (played by Charles Shaughnessy) and Nanny Fine (Fran Drescher) and, of course, some of the most memorable fashion ever seen on network TV. But that fashion didn’t get its true due until one woman, Shanae Brown, started up the Instagram account “What Fran Wore,” which is both fascinating (and amazingly accurate, considering the show ended nearly 20 years ago) and deeply hilarious.

What up, So-Bros? A new Freeform drama about teenage addiction premiered Monday, so we’ve got some things to discuss.

The first episode of Recovery Road introduced viewers to Maddie (Skins‘ Jessica Sula), a high school party girl who may or may not have an addiction to something. (Yes, it’s vague, but that’s kind of the point.) Upon being caught with a bottle of vodka in her locker, she was given two options: expulsion, or 90 days at a sober-living facility. I’ll give you one guess which choice she her mother picked!

If you’ve been even slightly attuned to pop culture in the last several decades, you’re familiar with the basic concept of Frankenstein.
From The Rocky Horror Picture Show to Penny Dreadful to countless other movies and TV shows, Mary Shelley’s classic tale — much like the titular doctor’s monster — has had its fair share of resurrections.
Fox on Wednesday night added to the pile of adaptations with Second Chance, a drama starring Rob Kazinsky (EastEnders), Tim DeKay (White Collar) and Dilshad Vadsaria (Greek). Before we get your thoughts on the series premiere, a brief recap:

A change of pace for Sundance Film Festival, before we get their competition films (and much more), they’ve first unveiled their midnight line-up for 2016. Among the notable titles are the latest films from Rob Zombie and Kevin Smith, 31 and Yoga Hosers, respectively. However, what keeps me coming back to Park City are the surprises, so there’s also a handful of features from relatively unknown directors that have caught our eye, including Carnage Park and Under the Shadow. Check out the line-up below, along with debut images, and return for our coverage in around two months.

Neil deGrasse Tyson is an astrophysicist, which means he’s smarter than we are.

An ancient mutant will attack the 1980s in 2016's new X-Men movie, X-Men: Apocalypse. Here's our look ahead...
If the double-bill disappointment of X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men Origins: Wolverine couldn’t kill the X-Men franchise, nothing can. Now that X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days Of Future Past have got the series back on track, there’s no stopping Fox’s mutant movies.
Standalone adventures for Deadpool, Gambit and (again) Wolverine are all underway, and there’s even talk of a TV series and slowed-down-a-bit rumours of an X-Force movie.
However, there’s one upcoming X-film that promises a bigger scale, a more dastardly villain and the biggest collection of dodgy haircuts than any of the rest. That film would be X-Men: Apocalypse.
This one’s the next team-based instalment, and it will focus on the recast protagonists introduced in First Class, picking up after their adventure in Days Of Future Past.

Everything appears to be just super for the cast of Heroes Reborn, at least in this first photo of them all, which was posted on Twitter yesterday by series star Zachary Levi. “It begins,” Levi wrote, meaning that Heroes Reborn will most likely start production on its first episode sometime this week (if it hasn’t started already). With Levi in the photo are his many Heroes Reborn cast members, including Judi Shekoni (EastEnders), Henry Zebrowski (A to Z) Robbie Kay (Once Upon a Time‘s Peter Pan), Ryan Guzman (Pretty Little Liars), Kiki Sukezane (The Yokai King), Toru Uchikado, and Jack Coleman, who will reprise his role as Noah Bennett/Hrg from the original Heroes in the new series. Masi Oka, who played the teleporting and time-traveling Hiro throughout all four seasons of Heroes and is set to set to recur as the character throughout Reborn, is finishing filming on Hawaii Five-0 this week,...
