Adam Levine is still looking for his fourth win as a coach on the “The Voice.” He has been with the show since it started in 2011 but has won only three of the previous 13 seasons. Could the Maroon 5 frontman finally win again in season 14?
We asked you which of the three artists still on his team could take the title on this NBC reality competition series. Your favorite, with a substantial 41% of the vote is Sharane Calister. That isn’t so surprising given that she won the first public vote when the Top 24 performed on April 16. In second place with 35% of the vote is Rayshun Lamarr, who advanced to the Top 12 when he came out on top in the second public vote on April 18. Levine’s personal pick, Jackie Verna, has the backing of 24% of our readers.

Despite being a coach on “The Voice” since it started in 2011, Adam Levine has won only three of the previous 13 seasons. Neither of these men is favored to win season 14 with our readers giving the edge to either returning coach Alicia Keys or rookie Kelly Clarkson.
As with the other three coaches, Levine saw his team of six cut halved during the Top 24 round that just ended. We have compiled a power ranking of the contestants now on Team Adam Levine. Despite being a coach on all 13 seasons of “The Voice” to date, Adam Levine has only won three times. The most recent of these was in season 9 when he took Jordan Smith to the winner’s circle (his others wins were in season 1 with Javier Colon and season 5 with Tessanne Chin). This season, he was only able to choose one of the three artists to take to the Top 12, which will perform live on April 23.
After America voted for Sharane Calister and Rayshun Lamarr he had to pick his third artist from the four remaining on his team. In the end, he opted for Jackie Verna over Mia Boostrom, Drew Cole and Reid Umstattd.

Wednesday’s Night 3 of The Voice’s Season 14 Live Playoffs was the end of the line for a dozen contestants. Not only did Team Kelly and Team Adam again sing for their lives, but the results of both Tuesday and Wednesday’s voting were revealed, and all four coaches had to play favorites, choosing one last singer to advance to the Top 12. For Alicia, this promised to be especially difficult; if TVLine’s Tuesday poll proved to be an accurate predictor of the overall voting, Jackie Foster was going to be moving on, leaving her coach with a Sophie’s choice between Terrence Cunningham,...

You know it’s a jam-packed episode of The Voice when there’s not even enough time to remind us yet again of each contestant’s heart-tugging backstory. Although Adam Levine has been a coach on the “The Voice” since it started in 2011, he has won only three of the previous 13 seasons. And, according to our readers, a fourth win is likely to elude Levine in the current season 14.
They think that he has a far weaker team than Shelton, returning coach Alicia Keys and rookie Kelly Clarkson heading into the live round, which kicks off on April 16. Levine’s six artists earned only a combined 10 chair turns during the blind auditions. Compare that to the rosters of the other coaches: Keys (17 turns), Shelton (15 turns) and Clarkson (11 turns).
We have compiled a power ranking of the contestants now on Team Adam Levine. These would-be winners are listed from best to worst based on: their reception in the knockouts, battles and blind auditions; the resulting sales of their tracks on iTunes; and the votes of viewers like you.

The first live show of season 14 of “The Voice” is on April 16. Each coach — rookie Kelly Clarkson, one-time champ Alicia Keys, three-time winner Adam Levine or six-time victor Blake Shelton — has six artists on their team. We wondered which of these four was the best coach with the strongest team and the overwhelming choice in our poll was Keys with 40% of the vote. This Grammy winner won the second of her two seasons of “The Voice” to date when Chris Blue took the title in the spring of 2017.

Adam Levine has the weakest team among the four coaches on season 14 of “The Voice” as the live round kicks off on April 16. He had gone into the knockout round, which just ended with eight artists who had merited a mere 13 chair turns among them at the blind auditions. “The Voice” coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine have had a rivalry since day one on NBC’s reality TV competition, but their recent performance of “Fly Me to the Moon” seems to suggest that all is forgiven. In the vintage black-and-white duet, the male coaches sang such intimate lyrics as “hold my hand,” “baby kiss me” and even “I love you.” The tone of the video is serious, but Shelton and Levine occasionally smile as if to let the audience know that they’re joking. In case you missed this video from the Top 24 recap episode of “The Voice,” watch Shelton and Levine’s duet above.

The second night of the knockout episodes on “The Voice” only had three match-ups and one of them was a clear favorite with the coaches and viewers. That was the last sing-off, which pitted two of the artists on Team Alicia Keys — Terrence Cunningham and Christiana Danielle — against each other. When their coach couldn’t decide between them, both of them secured a place in the Top 24.
Cunningham had won Keys over with his cover of “Tell Me Something Good,” a 1974 Stevie Wonder song that was a big hit for Rufus and Chaka Khan. “I would be up there struggling,” the coach admitted about watching her artist hit all the high notes. Watch Cunningham in action in the video above and then let us know your thoughts on his performance, as well as those of the other five artists, in the comment section below.

“The Voice” aired the second of four episodes dedicated to the knockout round of season 14 on April 3. As it was only an hour long, it featured just three match-ups but still managed to produce a lot of drama. This is the final pre-taped stage of the competition that will cull the 32 remaining artists down to 20 for the live shows. The four coaches — Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — no longer pick the songs that their artists perform in match-ups against each other.
However, they do get to declare a winner of the sing-off and each can steal one of the rejects of the other three. Keys did just that on night 1 when she nabbed Jackie Foster after Levine spurned her. And they can save one artist from their team as well: Levine did that with Drew Cole while Shelton did the same with Austin Giorgio.

For the first time in “The Voice” history, coaches were able to save artists during the knockout round on Monday night. Alicia Keys heads into the knockout round on season 14 of “The Voice” with the strongest team of the four coaches. That is not surprising given that she also had the best team before the battles began as her 12 artists had a whopping 29 chair turns during the blind auditions. At the end of the battle round, she had cut that roster in half and added two steals.

Last season, Blake Shelton won “The Voice” with an artist — Chloe Kohanski — he stole from Miley Cyrus in the knockout round. This season he may well have found another winner with his newest steal – Jaclyn Lovey. She was dropped by coach Alicia Keys at the end of night 3 of the season 14 battles in favor of Britton Buchanan after their duet on Ed Sheeran‘s hit “Thinking Out Loud.”
Lovey was one of three losers to be thrown a life-line by one of the other coaches, along with one of Shelton’s castoffs (Kaleb Lee) and Levine’s reject Miya Bass. We asked you which these three could be a winner in the final on May 22. Your overwhelming pick was Lovey, who racked up a whopping 61% of the vote tally. Bass registered 37% while Lee has just 2% of the total to date.

“The Voice” aired the third of the four episodes devoted to the battle round on Monday (March 26). At this stage of the competition, the four coaches — Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — must pit pairs of their artists against each other in sing-offs. After they chose one from each pairing to move on to the knockout round, the other was up for grabs with each coach having two such steals.
As last week’s first two battle episodes were dominated by artists from Team Adam and Team Blake, this week’s will be tilted towards those from Team Alicia and Team Kelly. On March 26, Season 14 of “The Voice” continued with the second stage of the competition: the battle round. Over the course of two episodes last week and two this week, the coaches will have pitted all 48 hopefuls from the blind auditions against each other in sing-offs. They can keep one artist from each battle for their team while the other coaches are allowed to rescue two contestants passed over by their original mentor.
The season 13 runner-up, Addison Agen, was stolen by Adam Levine at this stage of the competition when Miley Cyrus opted to keep Karli Webster. Cyrus went on to drop eventual winner Chloe Kohanski in favor of Ashland Craft in the knockout round of the competition. After Blake Shelton rescued her, he coached her to victory.
For the season 14 battle round, rookie coach Kelly Clarkson has turned to Hailee Steinfeld for advice while one-time winner Alicia Keys is looking to Shawn Mendes for guidance.

Season 14 of “The Voice” aired the third of four episodes devoted to the battle round of the competition on March 26. With the first two episodes last week having been dominated by artists from teams coached by Kelly Clarkson and Alicia Keys, this installment was focused primarily on those mentored by Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
At this stage, each coach pits pairs of artists against each other and has them sing the same song for survival. After deciding which contender in each battle to take to the knockout round, the other coaches can steal the loser for their teams (save for Levine who has used his two steals already). At rehearsals, the coaches had fellow artists on hand to offer advice: Clarkson turned to Hailee Steinfeld, Keys was counseled by Shawn Mendes, Levine had Julie Michaels by his side, and Shelton brought in Trace Adkins.

Going into the second and final week of The Voice’s Season 14 Battles, we still had ahead of us performances by a bunch of our favorites — and high hopes that they wouldn’t end up getting montaged, as was Johnny Bliss. (Fingers crossed!) Based on their memorable Blind Auditions, I was particularly eager to hear Jaclyn Lovey and Pryor Baird again, to find out (a) if they were good or consistently good and (b) how they’d fare in a cage match with another singer. Aand… ? Read on. We’ll discuss.

The battle round of “The Voice” continues on March 26 with the third of four episodes. The first two episodes on March 19 and 20 were dominated by battles between artists coached by rookie Kelly Clarkson and the returning Alicia Keys. This means the final two installments will be given over primarily to those contestants on the teams of Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, who have been with the show since the start.
Both Levine and Shelton have pitted only four of his dozen artists against each other in the first two battle rounds of “The Voice.” That leaves them with eight apiece to pair up in these final two shows devoted to the battles. We have done some digging and learned that one of Levine’s four remaining pairings pits Miya Bass against Drew Cole. To get a sneak peek at their showdown on the Bob Dylan classic “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door,...

Adam Levine has pitted only four of his dozen artists against each other in the first two battle rounds of “The Voice” on March 19 and 20. Two of them — Rayshun Lamarr and Reid Umstattd — were his picks to move on to the knockout round. While Tish Haynes Keys lost to Lamarr, she was rescued by Clarkson. Levine’s other battle loser, Davison, saw his time on “The Voice” come to an end.
Levine has used both of his steals, picking up Jackie Foster at the end of Battle 1 when Kelly Clarkson went for D.R. King instead after their duet on Harry Styles‘ “Sign of the Times.” Likewise, he offered Jordyn Simone a lifeline at the end of Battle 2 when Alicia Keys dropped him in favor of Kelsea Johnson after their duet on the En Vogue hit “Don’t Let Go (Love).”

Adam Levine has assembled a powerhouse team for this season of “The Voice.” While he has been with the show since the start, the Maroon 5 frontman has only won three of the previous 13 seasons: Javier Colon (season 1), Tessanne Chin (season 5) and Jordan Smith (season 9). He came tantalizingly close last season but his artist, Addision Agen, lost in the final to Blake Shelton‘s contender, Chloe Kohanski. That marked the sixth victory for Shelton and Levine is hoping to end that winning streak in season 14.
We asked you which of the 12 artists on Levine’s team is most likely to win. Your votes were split almost evenly among a half dozen of these talents, with Genesis Diaz having a slight edge in the count to date. Adam Levine has been a coach on every season of “The Voice” and has mentored three of the first 13 winners of this reality competition series. The most recent of these was in season 9 when he took Jordan Smith to the winner’s circle (his others wins were in season 1 with Javier Colon and season 5 with Tessanne Chin). He came tantalizing close to tasting victory last fall but his artist, Addison Agen, had to settle for second place. Levine’s rival, Blake Shelton, got win #6 as Chloe Kohanski claimed victory.
Levine is looking for revenge on Shelton this season and has assembled a strong team of 12 artists to take into battle. We have compiled power rankings of the 12 members of Team Adam Levine. This listing from best to worst is based on their performances in the blind auditions as well as the resulting sales of their tracks on iTunes and the votes of viewers like you.

Weird, isn’t it? As played out as the shoe-throwing had gotten by the end of The Voice last season, I actually thought I’d miss it when I tuned in to Monday’s Season 14 premiere. (Hey, I acknowledged that it was weird!) But nah, the episode zipped along, energized by the return of Alicia Keys and the addition of not only new coach Kelly Clarkson (funny as hell) but also the Block (a feature that allows coaches to prevent a rival from nabbing one and only one contestant).
