Indian streamer SonyLIV has unveiled a slate of more than 20 new and returning shows for 2024 and is expanding its content focus.
2023 saw several hits bow on the service including “Scam 2003,” “Chamak,” Agatha Christie adaptation “Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley” and “Fauda” remake “Tanaav,” which has been renewed for a second season, besides Season 2 of Emmy-nominated series “Rocket Boys.”
2024 will see shows in the Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Punjabi and Marathi languages, in addition to Hindi. “We wanted to go with a very robust multi-language content lineup,” Danish Khan, executive VP and business head, SonyLIV and StudioNext at Sony Pictures Networks India, told Variety.

New Delhi, Aug 30 (Ians) She has belted out hits such as ‘Ishq wala love’ from ‘Student of the Year’, ‘Nazar Laaye’ from ‘Raanjhanaa’ and ‘Meri Jaan’ from ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ to name a few. However, singer Neeti Mohan has revealed her lowest point in her career.
Neeti said that singing for Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar-starrer 2015 film ‘Bombay Velvet’ was the lowest point because she feels those tracks never got heard.
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the film is based on historian Gyan Prakash’s book ‘Mumbai Fables’. It also stars Kay Kay Menon, Manish Choudhary, Vivaan Shah and Siddhartha Basu.
Speaking to Ians, Neeti opened up about the low point in her career: “I think it was when I was the voice of the film ‘Bombay Velvet’. I felt that these songs never get heard. They were so interestingly recorded, and there are so many exciting stories we have for each song.

(titled Kaun Banega Crorepat), has joined as historical consultant, factual advisor and creative consultant.

Sandalwood Actor-director Ramesh Aravind has taken over the reins from Puneeth in the third season of the hit TV show Digital NativeKannada Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar had anchored the first two seasons of the hit TV show Kannadada Kotiyadipathi and there were talks that he would host the season 3 as well. But it now looks like Puneeth Rajkumar will not be on the show as speculated and actor – director Ramesh Aravind has taken over the reins.
