Prey! is not to be confused with the Predator film of the same name, Dick Maas’s lion loose in Amsterdam thriller, the 2007 film about a family of tourists stalked by lions or any of the seemingly endless list of action films and slashers bearing that title. This Prey! is about a pair of American missionaries Andrew and Sue living in a village somewhere in Africa.
Andrew is already having a bad day. He’s a doctor and had a young boy die on the operating table because the medical supplies they were expecting hadn’t arrived on time. It gets worse when he’s told he and Sue need to make a fast exit, Boko Haram soldiers are heading towards the village.

A trailer for Prey has just arrived online – and no, we’re not talking about that Predator movie that was just released a while back. This is a new movie called Prey, which Vertical will be giving a theatrical and VOD release on March 15th. It seems kind of soon to be sending another movie called Prey out into the world, but clearly Vertical disagrees. Ryan Phillippe (Shooter), Emile Hirsch (The Autopsy of Jane Doe), and Mena Suvari (American Beauty) star in this “nature run amok” survival thriller, and you can check out the trailer in the embed above. A poster for the film can be seen at the bottom of this article.

This time they take on wild animals while fleeing in Africa. After their lives are threatened by an extremist militant group, a young couple must flee from their missionary post in the Kalahari Desert. But when their aircraft crashes into an animal preserve, they must battle man and beast in a fight for their lives. Taking on lions, leopards, and hyenas and more. Prey stars Ryan Phillippe, Emile Hirsch, Mena Suvari, Dylan Flashner, Jeremy Tardy, Michaela Sasner, Tristan Thompson, and Mohamed Hakeemshady as Scar.. This reminds me of...

When the local mafia shows up to burn down her restaurant, Ana, a chef with a meticulous past, defends her turf and proves her knife skills both in and out of the kitchen.

A rather straightforward action comedy thriller that just seeks to entertain, and does so from the get go. The Hollywood cocktail of comedy and action that has worked so many times before, and having been applied so often it has the formula nailed to a tee…. Following the same schematics as in the past couple of decades with mob bosses, smarty-pants oneliners, we enter a genre that is so familiar to us, does not push us outside our comfort zone, and entertains us.

"Did you really think you could get away with it?" Vertical Entertainment has revealed an official trailer for Collide, a "gripping thriller" set at a restaurant in Los Angeles. Not to be confused with the Nicholas Hoult autobahn film also called Collide, or the sci-fi indie film titled Collider, this one is also just as forgettable as both of those. The film is described as an "edge-of-your-seat noir thriller" that centers on six strangers with interlocking stories hurtling towards an explosive (ugh) conclusion, about three different couples at this restaurant. Starring Ryan Phillippe, Kat Graham, Dylan Flashner, Jim Gaffigan, Drea de Matteo, and David Cade. This is such a strange film - there's a bomb (really?), a drug deal gone awry, and everyone has life-changing secrets, yet the trailer reveals all their secrets anyway. How does a film like this get made? Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Mukunda Michael Dewil's Collide,...
