Country music and Edm aren’t as distinct as they might seem. Kane Brown and Marshmello collaborated on the awesome single “One Thing Right.” Brown explained why the tune feels like the opposite of Marshmello’s “Happier.” Both songs became hits, but one was far more popular than the other.
Kane Brown said his Marshmello collaboration ‘One Thing Right’ is about his wife
Marhsmello’s “Happier” is an Edm song about someone who is leaving his lover because he feels he’s holding her back. “One Thing Right,” on the other hand, is about a man who is happy that his partner has stayed with him despite his flaws.
During a 2019 interview with Billboard, Brown contrasted “Happier” with “One Thing Right.” “We wrote a tune that’s basically the opposite of that,” he explains. “It just … tells you everything that I’ve done wrong growing up and it’s saying...

Country star Kane Brown showed off his range by working with Edm producer Marshmello on the song “One Thing Right.” Surprisingly, Marshmello revealed he had some experience with country music. “One Thing Right” was one of the biggest songs of the year even though it barely reached the top 40.
Marshmello said Kane Brown’s ‘One Thing Right’ isn’t ‘nail-on-the-head country music’
Marshmello has collaborated with artists across genres. These include pop star Demi Lovato (“Ok Not to Be Ok”), rapper Lil Peep (“Spotlight”), alternative star Halsey (“Be Kind”), indie pop band Bastille (“Happier”), heavy metal band A Day to Remember (“Rescue Me”), and R&b singer Chris Brown (“Light Up”). During a 2021 interview with Forbes, Marshmello said his tastes were always eclectic.

Rejoice, country music fans! Kane Brown released a tune with Blake Shelton on his most recent album. Brown revealed he was working on a tune that sounded like Shelton and decided he should work with the icon himself. Despite the success of these two artists, the tune in question has been ignored by the radio.
Kane Brown thought 1 of his songs sounded like Blake Shelton’s ‘God’s Country’
During a 2022 interview with Billboard, Brown discussed the creation of his song “Different Man.” “I was driving to the gym — that’s where I really have time to think and listen,” he said. “I wanted one more feature on the album, and Blake was the first person I thought of. The song just reminded me of the ‘God’s Country’ kind of Blake Shelton, so I felt like it made sense.”

ESPN has switched up its soundtrack for Monday Night Football with a new opening theme in which Chris Stapleton, Snoop Dogg, and Cindy Blackman Santana perform a “reimagining” of Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight.” Check it out below.
If you really nit-pick this, the unlikely cover actually makes a decent amount of sense: Stapleton and Snoop have both performed at recent Super Bowls, with Stapleton performing the National Anthem this year and Snoop a part of the Halftime Show in 202. “In the Air Tonight” obviously needs a powerful drummer like Santana, who’s performed with legends including Pharoah Sanders, Lenny Kravitz, and — you guessed it! — Santana.
Why Collins’ 1981 smash hit was chosen as ESPN’s new hype anthem, however, is a bit of a head-scratcher. In a statement, the network said “In the Air Tonight” has a “deep relationship” with football, “having been cited in the past and present...

Avril Lavigne may have said see ya later, boy to Tyga, but only briefly, as it appears the pair is back together.
A source tells Et, “Tyga and Avril are back together after their split. They were still hanging out and talking after their breakup and decided to give things another shot.”
Per the source, the two are not jumping back into things and are just keeping their relationship casual for now.

Rumblings of a reconciliation started after Avril and Tyga were spotted together at a Fourth of July party last week in Las Vegas, just weeks after their split.
