Out of Time (2000 TV Movie)

Really Bad
2 November 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Most movies that I take the time to watch, I can find some redeeming qualities. With this one, I am hard pressed to find them. The acting is generally bad, the writing is abominable, and the attempts at humour were eye-rolling groaners. The dialogue for the kid sounds like that written by an adult who cannot get the hang of "hip" speech.

And they introduced things out of nowhere to get something done. For instance, they needed to get the information off of the developer's computer, so at just the crucial moment, they decided that the kid could become invisible. There was no explanation as to how or why he suddenly had this power. They just couldn't figure out a realistic way to do it. I understand that the story is a fantasy, so I don't have a problem with a character being able to become invisible, but there has to be some sort of explanation.

Overall, my suggestion is: "Don't waste your time."
