A memory wipe from a former patient of Belle Reeve causes Clark and his secret to be put in danger in this intriguing 19th episode of the season.
Clark's memory is gone when a meteor-infected young man takes it away when trying to escape from robbery of the Talon. In this loss of memory, some friends of Clark have the opportunity to truthfully tell him who he is, while others try to take advantage of the situation. Chloe ends up telling Clark who he is, though she believes that all of his abilities come from being infected by the meteors, rather than the truth that he IS the reason behind the meteors, and came to Earth that way. Lex, however, does anything but try to tell Clark who he is; rather, he tries to get Clark to tell him his secret.
This episode is great because it illustrates those friendly loyalties, loyalties that for some only run as deep as a memory loss can be.
