Other than a few good moments, it's he same old same old of recent youth-oriented movies: human and spaceship chases, fights, explosions. A video game and thrill ride set up. We get lot of marching storm troopers, actors, the obligatory alien bar scene. There's none of the interesting characters, touches of humor, or drama of the original. To see Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher be interesting, watch their TV interviews, not this. The other actors lack appeal. Even if it wasn't a rehash of the firs few episodes, it would lack appeal. In comparison, I liked the Bond movie Skyfall, and all Hunger Games films much more than this. Caprica and Battlestar Gallactica are also much better.
