Good start to the new series.

Kwiker Kabs is a local Taxi rank, and a hot bed for emotions. Frank and Linda have been controllers for years, Frank's in love with Linda, but too timid to ask her out, the couple fit so nicely, sharing a two finger Kit Kat daily, and discussing The Apprentice at home. This Paradise is shattered when the handsome Terry joins from a rival cab firm, turning Linda's head and Frank's stomach, soon Linda and Terry are an item, but he's taking her for a ride (no pun intended.)

I've been a big fan of Moving on since they started back in 2009, and while I didn't think this episode was as gritty as the earlier ones, it was light and fun to watch. John Thomson is doing a good line in tragic male nice guys lately, and this is no exception, he's ultra likable in this, Julie Hesmondhalgh is great, such a good performer, but I really loved Shane Ritchie, a very good, sleazy performance from him, he seems to be ageing in reverse too!

Great to have it back, nice, warm start back, missing a little bit of grit, but lovely performances and engaging story nonetheless.

The music was good, predictable for daytime drama if truth be told, there must be one CD that they use, The Scorpions, Dolly Parton, etc.
