Fausto Maria Sciarappa gives a good Nicola. Rupert Everett propose a more profound Bernardo Gui and, not surprising, John Turturro sustain, in beatiful manner, entire episode. Sure, you expect the novel and the vision of director deserves be respected , but the feel to see a sort of puzzle in which the pieces are used for new drawings, simmilar to original but not the same, with high good intentions, off course, is, for me, a little serious problem. But, the opening of each episode and the hard - subtle work of John Turturro are precious gifts.
