I haven't seen movies like Meri Pyari Bindu, Hawaaizaada and Bewakoofiyan. I am a huge fan of Ayushmann. And this is the first time he disappointed me. Dream Girl is another example of a movie that tried to be good by including a message. Writers needs to understand that a movie doesn't become great just because there are some message in it.
There were few good funny scenes here and there. But half of the jokes were not that great. The main problem was that I found the movie too Bollywood. As a whole the movie is so silly that they had to give the protagonist a whole speech to convey the message. That just doesn't fit in.
Now, some may think that I'm being too critical but this is my opinion. I expected more from a guy who gave us movies like Vicky Donor, Nautanki Saala, Article 15, Andhadhun etc.
In short, Dream Girl is a one time watch if you like "Bollywood Entertainers".
