Yes this type story has been done before. But what take some productions over 90 mins to make an impact, padding out the run time with pointless side stories. Here we get a short run time with none of it wasted . How long can Steve and Reese keep this high quality program making going time will tell, I hope we've still got years of excellent Inside no 9 to go
