Way back in 1973, I was coming home from Sweden to the UK by rail and had to change trains in Hamburg. There was a cinema close to the station showing "The Exorcist" and there were about 3 hours between the connecting trains, so I decided to watch it. Big mistake! It was dubbed into German (of which I know only a few phrases) and I spent the next 2 hours thinking wtf is going on?
45 years later, I saw the DVD going cheap in a local charity shop, so decided to give it another try. Big mistake! Even though I could now understand the words, it's painful to watch and I still had no idea of what was going on, nor how the three separate storylines connect together. It's going back to the charity shop.
