Marcia has a date with Doug Simpson the school football hero but breaks a date with Charlie, another boy.
One of the best episode, it has become a classic. Doug Simpson is played by Nicholas Hammond who appeared in "The Sound Of Music" and later played the title role in the TV "Spiderman" series. Marsh uses the excuse "something suddenly came up" when breaking the date with Charlie (she got it from Greg). Then she gets hit in the nose when Peter overthrows Bobby while playing football. The nose gets swollen and when Doug sees it he breaks the date using the same excuse Marcia had given Charlie. It has a good ending when Marcia comes home describes what happened when Doug sees Charlie with Marcia.
