If you're expecting historical fiction, you'll be disappointed. It uses a historical event as a rough framework on which to hang a purely fictional fantasy story (no shade to Druidism, past or present). Outstanding performance by Eleanor Cox, from helpless lost crying little girl to full grown, powerful confident woman. That's a demanding role and she nailed it.
