At the core the show is really good. I mean it's a western/ronin epos set in the Star Wars universe, can't really go wrong can it?
Well, besides some poor acting and dialog this episode suffers like all the previous ones by incredibly silly decision making. The guild master (or whatever his title is) lets the mandalorian know that the plan was to kill him and take the kid. Really? We´re supposed to belive that he is that mentally challenged? In his escape in ep3 the mandalorian single handeldy offed around 20 mercs before his backup arrived and now the guild master means to kill him with 3?
Sure, the original plan might have been that they would kill the mandalorian once in town with the help of imperials but he then instructed the 2 remaining mercs to kill them before they reach the outpost when he changed his mind. However, if that's the case, that would mean that these 2 mercs have no clue what so ever who the mandalorian is or what he is capable of (or that his armor is literally bullet proof) which I find to be far fetched at best.
With that said, I am enjoying the show, I just wish they treated their viewers with more respect. It is after all one of the worlds biggest IPs in the hands of one of the worlds richest companies, I think we should be allowed to expect more than this.
