In its own form Parks and Rec is a great show, good, original characters, clever writing and great character development. It even did some things better than The Office (Which many people compare it too). Personally I think the way Parks and Rec developed the location as a character and the way the humor way not just for gags but also happened to carry the plot at times. It's funny, relatable and very rewatchable. But with the amount of praise it's gotten I would still have to call it overrated. From what I heard I went into this thinking it would've been one of the best sitcoms made. So when it wasn't what I expected it too be I was left with disappointment which ended up spoiling the rest of this show which actually was pretty good. So if your thinking about watching this show it's good alright but don't go into thinking it's gonna be amazing.
