BvS has some cool action, some good effects, and some good performances (Jeremy irons, gal gadot, and especially Ben affleck) but also has some wasted actors (Henry cavill told to do 2 facial expressions, Amy adams and Lawrence fishburne pointless), Jessie eisenburg as lex Luther was painful to watch, lex's plan has a million holes in it (and no real motivation to make doomsday and he figured out Superman and Batman's identity and planed 2 kidnappings the night Batman planned to kill Superman offscreen), the fight is only 8 minutes long in a 2 and half hour long movie because their moms have the same name, the rest is boring congressional hearings, a butt load of journalism, and philosophy talks, doomsday is pointless and wasted, Superman dies 2 movies into the cinematic dc universe they planned when they barley focused on him in this film, the final battle looked like garbage, and so many plot holes like Superman half way across the earth knows Lois is in danger but not when his mom was kidnapped? Another is when Superman is blamed for killing people with bullets. As for the ultimate cut, I don't care if it fixed things that's not the version played all around the world in theaters and to critics. If you need to release something after the fact just to fix a bad movie you fail. This is an awful movie that pissed me off so much. The most disappointing movie I've ever seen.
