I usually don't watch "TV" series esp. The ones that are produced in Iran and by the IRIB. I know it's from Home Network series so when one of my friends suggested this, I just give it a try and watched it and I didn't like it.
It's a mediocre mini-series. It's weak, redundant, cliche, uninspired, kind of heartless with an inconsistent tone. It's a revenge film, I'm sure you get the idea!
The whole story is filled with unnecessary details and it was branched to a lot of redundant parts and characters with an obsessive kind of way to adding more brother and sister to the story. It was nonsense.
There are a lot of problems that I can talk about for example showing the regime's police and detective agents very unrealistically and making a hero out of them. This approach is unethical and sci-fi. The only thing that they are strong at is oppressing people and the only thing that they can follow with this care is jailing every voice against the government.
Another one was using Tool's song without any credit to them, just to name one.
Acting, music and production is among the good aspects of this series.
Sirvan and Xaniar's acting can't be judged very precisely because it's a debut for both of them but Sirvan was good and Xaniar was average.
Another problem that I always have with this kind of stories is glorification of crime and violence. There are numerous times in this series that you can hear that everybody would do the same if they were in that position!
