Review of Slumber

Slumber has two things I love, R. E. M. Songs and horror. Scream queen Katherine Isabelle, guest stars as a young girl in a coma, who's taunted by her greedy uncle. It's a glorified filler episode, but one of my favorite of the whole series, for using songs from « In Time » best of R. E. M. CD, a lot of fans like me. Bought after watching it. And that fantasy/horror feel, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, pulled with its first season's « Nightmares ». It's a great episode that keeps you guessing, with an opening scene as good as any. And a deliciously creepy atmosphere. As opposed to season 2, season 3 starts strong. After a perfect premiere, with lots of juicy revelations, that make us see previous season events in a different light. It grates us with two standalone episodes, that have the show almost back to its first season greatness. And a Chloe character who finally sees the light and stop being irritating.
