Absolutely pathetic. Carrie announcing she's getting married to herself just so she can get compensation for her shoes that were stolen at a party. Even more pathetic is when she calculated how much she spent on gifts for one of her married friends. It's a gift, if you didn't want to buy them, you simply could not have. Carrie acts as if the whole world revolves around her in this episode. Also, it is common decency to take off your shoes when you go into someone's home. We get to see the shallow world she lives in and how intolerant she is to others lifestyle.
