Ribbit and Rip It

Warning: Spoilers
I praise the Marvel gods for continuing to bring me all the silliness every week to talk about this show. Sure, this episode didn't have a talking bull-man or a therapy session for villains, but it did have a guy in a frog costume who almost burns himself up. All the goofiness is coming to this one show and I love it. Oh, and this was obviously also the episode that finally saw Daredevil make his debut on the show, so that's for you, people! And this was a great episode; had everything I had expected and hoped for, and an ending that was "meh." Wait a second... Could this potentially be a "She-Hulk" episode that many people like?? No, that couldn't be. I mean, I'll take it, but I don't think we as a race are actually able to all like an episode of this show. But hey, welcome to the club, we're happy to have you. This was a stupidly fun episode, and I'm not just talking about Matt Murdock having the jokes (which he does), but also being the butt of the jokes. Daredevil doing the walk of shame will never not be funny, and I've only seen it in this show. Granted, I've rewound that scene about 50 times, but it's still funny. Luckily, he's not only funny, but he's also badass, so don't worry about them changing him up too much. There's still a lot of the Netflix version left in this character. And more CGI character replacements, but this show is not necessarily known for its new and highly innovative CG work, so let's just take what we can get. All that was great, and it leads to an ending that's... okay. It definitely feels like they're rushing a little to get to the finish line, so let's see what happens next week. I'm sure that they'll be able to do something that brings the show home, but hopefully, they're able to make it satisfying. Then again, you don't have to do a lot to make this show satisfying for me. Just keep the silliness and you've pretty much got me still onboard.

So, can we all agree that "Ribbit and Rip It" is actually a great episode of this show that not a lot of people enjoy? Okay, good, because it was a lot of fun and it had a character in it that we all love and who we can't wait to see more of later.
