This movie has been solidified in my list of the worst movies I've ever seen. I'm so confused how it could be this bad?
You expect us to believe a mom decided to keep a murderous psychopath in the house JUST to keep her husband happy? Nobody was making her do that.. Esther didn't blackmail her or anything.. and it didn't seem like her intention to raise this fake daughter for the rest of her life.. so her plan was to give it some time and then have Esther die somehow? So now having the dad go through his daughter getting kidnapped, found, then die is better than the truth that some woman was faking things to trick them? When the whole point was to keep him happy? It's not like having the dad find out Esther was a fraud would suddenly reveal their secret.. IT WASN'T BLACKMAIL. Do these writers not understand that Tricia didn't have to tell Esther anything about what she and her son did....
I have no words to describe this storyline other than purely moronic. It's that stupid. Who are these writers? I'm concerned for their mental well-being... the utter stupidity is actually offensive.
