Warning: Spoilers
5 minutes staring at crazy Ivar on the ground with blood on his face back and forth with the enemy laughing and looking at the bishop. He could have died several times but was never killed. The director or writers during the episode failed in this scene. We understand he is the villain here and also the one we should feel sorry for. We don't need to watch him get shot with an arrow at an angle that didn't even make sense either. Ivar is losing interest for me because it's becoming so unbelievable that everyone is siding with this lunatic. I don't understand how this episode made the editing room floor and was left the way it was. Floki also is losing interest to me. Without his eye makeup he just is any other person on a search to find the meaning of life. I also can't stand how the bishop and Ivar have these incredibly complex haircuts. So unrealistic for the time. The bishop has a fade and styled hair with product! I didn't know mechanical buzz cutters were around back then. I don't even work in hair styling and I can tell the hair and makeup department took several liberties with these hair styles. His character is also so irritating as nobody would believe a catholic bishop would look or behave like that. As soon as I saw him we said "he is way too attractive to not be a main character".... But that's what is bugging me about the show now. They only cast people like that for recurring roles and characters almost die 30 times over. They're all like cats with 9 lives. All around this awesome show is just becoming more and more disappointing and this episode is proof of that.
