Luke James is the obvious standout in season 2 of this series. Dare I say his performance rivals Joaquin Phoenix's phenomenal work in "Joker." Starting episode 1 of season 2, I do not have much expectations other than this is supposed to be some sort of horror. Oh boy it is more than that! The character study here is immense, nicely supporting the expected jump scares, but here they feel organic instead of obligatory. The show is also a nice throwback to the early 90s, sporting some good nostalgic music, and taking us back to a time when racial tensions are fueled by one camcorder recording instead of the ubiquitous social media we have today.
