A bit too pretentious

"Never Travel on a One Way Ticket" (Res aldrig på enkel biljett) (1987), written and directed by two Swedish multiartists, is an experimental dirty, dark dystopia, with a sadly stiff dialogue and rather weak acting.

The nightmarish story of the Investigator
salvin10 February 2007
This is perhaps the best Swedish movie ever made. Dark, creepy, frightening, you will never see a movie like this again. The future is a horrible place, darkness everywhere, the only light source being lit torches. The mysterious magician Hassan the great, has invented an escape from the horror, the teletransport, a glass coffin which takes you to the south pole, where a paradise has begun to grow. A man called the Investigator is called in to see what really happens to the people Hassan sends away in the coffins. The movie has spectacular actors, Mikael Samuelsson is incredible as the Investigator. This is truly a masterpiece, and is now finally on DVD.
