Boring and pointless
Groverdox19 September 2019
"The Bikini Carwash Company" is a pointless and tedious little b-flick designed to show unimpressive bare breasts and not much else. It doesn't even have enough plot or character to come up with an excuse to show these mammaries to the camera and as a result seems to grind painfully to a halt every few moments.

The plot: some random "geek" in a business suit annoys everybody on a beach in which all women apparently share the same plastic surgeon and all men have a line on steroids. A group of indistinguishable bimbos are struggling with their carwash business when they meet the geek and the "leader" of the group, or at least the only one with lines, decides that they can exploit the geek to save their business, though I never understood why or how.

We then get a bunch of footage of women in bikinis posing around cars and taking their bikini tops off, showing their typically '90s threatening mammary glands, which thrust unnaturally toward the camera like loaded weapons.

There's also a "flasher" running around with a stocking on his head, opening his trench coat to reveal the fact that he is clearly not naked underneath, and the filmmaker wasn't talented enough to hide that. Um, maybe angle the camera up a little bit so we can see he isn't wearing shorts? What is this, brain surgery?

Most of the women aren't even that attractive when you see their faces, which admittedly, you don't all that often. The movie is too busy showing you their ballistics.

I will say one thing about it, though: the movie's few sex scenes are done tastefully. One toward the end of the movie is even fairly erotic. Oh, and legendary b-movie filmmaker, Jim Wynorski, has a cameo, but the movie doesn't give him anything to do.

Lots of Beautiful Women but Sadly Lacking in Humor
Uriah432 September 2016
This movie begins with a young man from Iowa named "Jack" (Joe Dusic) wandering around on a California beach looking for his uncle's car wash. He eventually finds the place and takes over the business while "Uncle Elmer" (Patrick Wright) goes to a medical clinic to treat his allergies. However, he has no head for business and soon comes to the realization that the business is about to go broke unless something happens soon. Fortunately, a young woman he recently met on the beach named "Melissa" (Kristi Ducati) entices him into hiring her and some friends to attract customers by wearing their bikinis at the job site. What follows is a steady string of patron-- along with a district attorney who wants to shut them down and a notorious flasher who appears out of nowhere at the most inconvenient times. Now, rather than reveal any more, I will just say that this film had plenty of beautiful young women, but the humor and overall plot left much to be desired. No doubt, if a person is just interested in young ladies in various stages of undress, then that viewer will probably have little to complain about. I especially liked Rikki Brando (as "Amy") and the aforementioned Kristi Ducati. But having said that, it still wasn't enough for me to rate this movie any higher than I have as there are a number of other movies of this type which are certainly better. Below average.

OK for what it is
smatysia25 January 2001
I suppose it's OK for what it is. A couple of the actresses were really hot, particularly Kristi Ducati and Neriah NuPaul. A lot of topless and nude stuff without too much simulated sex. A lot of the film seems to shoot for camp, and misses. But, again, who cares?

A DRIPPING WET FRUIT ROLLUP FILLED WITH A CHERRY CENTER.

This film goes down on my "Best soft core fluff of all time" list. I loved this movie. It has sentimental value to it along with non stop sensuality for me to oogle at while i sit around my room in my underwear and drink a broosky. I highly recommend this fluffy whip to anyone that likes to see naked women wash cars in the fun sun. 8 out of 10.

Bikini Carwash
BandSAboutMovies30 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
George "Buck" Flower was working on a TV show called Nutz, Yutz and Klutz and it was set in a car wash. He wondered what a movie would be like with attractive women working in a car wash and here we are.

Directed and co-written by Ed Hansen (Takin' It Off, Takin' It Off Out West), this starts with Jack McCowan (Joe Dusic) looking for the local Sunshine Car Wash, which he is supposed to manage for his Uncle Elmer (Michael Wright). He meets Melissa Reese (Kristi Ducati, Meatballs 4, Sorceress), makes a date and a business plan. She has plenty of friends who wear swimsuits. Perhaps they can wash cars.

For some reason, things hit a stumbling block when Assistant District Attorney Donovan Drake (Matthew Cory Dunn) and the police show up to try and stop the nearly-naked car spraying. But that's a minor bump as most of this movie is just breasts on windshields. Seriously, it's devotion to women buffing and sudsing cars is single brained.

I mean, there are also butts.

So yes, the car wash is open and Amy (Rikki Brando, Buford's Beach Bunnies), Sunny (Sara Suzanne Brown, who shows up in the sequel as well as Gregory Dark's Secret Games 2: The Escort), Tammy Joe (Brook Lynn Page in her only role), Stanley (Eric Ryan), Big Bruce (Scott James) for the ladies and Rita (Neriah Davis, Playboy Playmate of the Month March 1994).

Also: Jim Wynorski shows up.

AMERICAN BEAUTIES
javamikey30 May 2001
Okay, so it's not AMERICAN BEAUTY and it didn't win any awards... but this damn film is a beauty to watch. Just turn down the volume in spots (the cheesy sound effects get annoying) and just enjoy the wonderful - and naked - beauties on the screen.

Nearly 10 years after this American Classic hit the video stores, it can now be purchased on DVD. Or, wait for its next run on late-night cable.

Unrated version has its moments
source-216 June 1999
This is one of those videos where you have to be VERY careful to get the unrated version to get your money's worth. Unrated has lots of full-frontal nudity -- including some entertaining, music-video style dance sequences. Also a fairly steamy beach sex scene. These have all been excised from the R-rated version. Just a word to the wise.

Serves its purpose
mattymatt4ever29 April 2002
Hot chicks, cool music, tongue-in-cheek humor...Hell, I can't ask for much more. This is basically an excuse to see a bunch of half-naked and topless women, but it also works well as a goofy sex comedy. There are some lame gags, but there are also some gags that work. And for a low-budget comedy like this, I was impressed. I liked the montages of bikini-clad babes hosing each other down and soaping themselves up. Those scenes reminded me of uncensored versions of 80s rock videos like "Cherry Pie." The music is great by the way! It blends perfectly with the film's upbeat tone.

Though I can't complain, there are certain things that could've made the movie better. 1: Better-looking women. Sure, they were hot, but not "Playboy" hot. Not "Surrender Cinema" hot. Nevertheless, they all have banging bodies. 2: Take away those crappy sound effects. 3. Some lesbian action! I was really itching for some lesbo action!

If you're in the mood for cheap laughs and hot babes, you won't be disappointed! But don't rent this movie if: A. You're a feminist or B. You're in the mood for intense, Oscar-winning drama.

My score: 7 (out of 10)

Eye Candy Hall of Fame
Robbie-4325 August 1999
In this multi-layered art house film, Ed Hansen makes use of dialectical conflict to tell his story of unbridled capitalism. Polarities such as streetwise beach girl - naive farm boy, brash new marketing ideas - conservative ideas, hard work - play at work, bikini on - bikini off are presented. It is the reconciliation of these opposites in which Hansen demonstrates the plus side of naked ambition. A well rounded cast featuring Sara Suzanne Brown, Neriah Napaul, Rikki Brando, Kimberly Bee, and the gorgeous Kristi Ducati give performances that bust out with enthusiasm. Ms. Ducati, as sleek and detailed as the Ducati motorcycle, earned All-Century second team status. We here at the academy, on principle, do not like to dwell on the physical attributes of the actors, but Ms. Ducati has the most bodacious pair of ... eyes. Also keep an eye out for the auteur Wynorski in an important role. In summary this is a great film with an uplifting message and definitely a classic.

Bikini Royale
refinedsugar21 August 2023
There's no getting around 'Bikini Carwash Company' is a classic of this genre for good reason - it brings the visuals - so to that end, do yourself a favor and see the unrated cut. Let's not kid ourselves about what the main attraction is so get the best bang for your viewing buck and soak up all the T&A this flick has to offer.

Jack (Joe Dusic) comes to town to take over running his uncle's carwash for the summer and in short stride meets up with some hot chicks lead by Melissa (Kristi Ducati). They partner with him in exchange for half of the profits and business goes thru the roof due to the sexy female sights while some local authorities try to shut them down.

Bikinis have gone together with beautiful women for a long time. It's a genre onto itself. 'Bikini Carwash Company' as a flick doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it does carry out the summer time formula perfectly well with a light & pleasant vibe. If you want a healthy dose of T&A - in & out of bikinis - in a simple story you'll get it here. A sequel followed a year later, but doesn't have the same feel.

Late night 90's Cinemax classic.
jimy2328 January 2012
The story has been done to death but this is an undisputed Cinemax classic an one of the reasons Cinemax is sometimes called skinemax. A group of girls are out of money a car wash business is out of money so the girls go to work at the car wash wearing almost noting and business starts booming. Like a lot of these movies there are the crusty uptight people who want to stop and censor the car wash saying it's bad and immoral. I remember this use to also air on HBO I first saw this in the early 90's when I was about seven I saw a lot of Cinemax movies when I was young. Ed Henson is known for direction movies like this Party Plan Takin it off party favors to name a few. If you like this i recommend Laderdale Beach babes from beyoned or any 90's up all night Or late night Cinemax features.

It isn't my favorite, but the sexy girls and arguably funny dialogue kept me entertained. The end felt rewarding and I recommend it.

One of the best soft-core films i've seen
sol_keeper23 April 2000
This would have to be one of the best soft core porn movies i've seen in a long time. They couldn't have chose a better cast. Kristi Ducati is fine, as well as the rest of the chicks.

Of course the acting sux but who cares. Plenty of nudity thankfully. Its refreshing to see such a good flesh movie considering how much crap there is.

This movie is a work of ART
Drunkard-29 March 1999
Upon my viewing of "The Bikini Carwash Company" several years ago, I was thrilled at the aspect of having just seen a truly FUN movie. While not an entirely deep film, it accomplishes its purpose of displaying many a topless woman and proudly displaying the "I'll-Wind-Up-On-Cinemax-Every-Saturday" type of mood that I, for one, would like to see more of. One may think such films are for perverts only, but I STILL watch this movie even when it's had all it's nudity and language cut out on USA Up All Night (Where did Gilbert and Ronda go!?). I enjoy campy, cheesy, and some may say tasteless films. (But tasteless is only in the eyes of the beholder, as I call it a work of Art. The cast is certainly appropriate, featuring the likes of Kristi Ducati and Rikki Brando. So if you're in the mood for something GAURANTEED not to bore you, rent "The Bikini Carwash Company"

A Cinemax Classic....
Smooth B28 October 1999
This movie is on my top 10 list as one of the best late-night, straight-to-video Cinemax movies of all time. It follows the STSWB (save the something with breasts) formula, but it does it so well you almost forget it's not a real movie. The plot is simple: Corn-fed nephew comes to L.A. to visit uncle, uncle having trouble keeping car wash in the black, nephew concocts a scheme to raise enough money to keep car wash in a very limited amount of time using busty women in bikinis. If you've seen this movie (or even if you haven't), you've seen one like it. The comedy in this film is classic low-budget humor....lots of bikini tops bursting, weird background sound effects, and comic relief from the really dumb blonde! Definitely a must-see on those cold Saturday nights in the winter.

The Music behind Bikini Car Wash Company
joedolan10 December 2006
Sure, this movie falls into the B rated T+A movies category of the early 90's, spun off from the movies that kept teens glued to the VCR on a Friday night when the smoke supply was thin and there were no good bands in town, but that's what made this one fun.

As the drummer of the soundtracks band; Todd Lane will tell you, the years of playing the sunny southern California music circuit were unforgettable, but being in a band at that time, loaded with talent and looking to make any noise over the onset of grunge music and the fall of good time rock and roll, a soundtrack to a movie was the one thing a band could only dream of.

New Haven, the band behind the music, was more than up and coming at the time, they had arrived, and the tunes on this soundtrack prove just that. Not only did they appear on screen jamming away, the boys lit up radios that summer with the hits that made them more than popular.

Founder and former CEO of Retrospect Records; Joe Dolan (thats me), was set to release the original demos that made this band the good time summer rockers they were, and hope is still there for this music to surface again. In 2007, hopes arise as Joe starts his engine again in the music industry with the formula for another record label. the start of this project is set to include about 8 songs from New haven and a liner from the band about what made those days so great.

Incidentally, if you feel so inclined, you can search the IMDb and find a Billy Blanks movie that features some of the great tracks from Bikini Car Wash as they surfaced again in that soundtrack ... but that is a story for another day.

Search the web for drummer Todd Lane and you too will learn the story of the band that rocked my world - straight forward good time rock, the way it was meant to be .... "Rockin' in my rockin' chair".

See you Hollywod kids! Joe Dolan

A B-movie classic!
ryansfav19 December 1999
This movie would definitely go on my "B-movie Hall Of Fame" list. It's just good on so many levels. Sure, the main purpose is to show nude women, but other than that it also has some good comedic moments, semi-dramatic moments, and even a dose of mystery as you try to find out who the notorious FLASHER is. Even eight years after it was released, and at least six years since I first saw it, I still enjoy watching this movie anytime it's on TV. Highly recommended by me.

I'd like to see this movie again
sendmemail-5666624 September 2018
I remember this movie from just before I became a teenager. I remember wishing I could hookup with the actresses back before all the sexual harassment stuff started and you could still ask a girl out. As you know it's just a male fantasy movie, but I sure wish women wanted to do stuff like that to me.

Look no further for a T&A classic
wetsprocket018 June 2001
Kristi Ducati shines her brightest in this one. Oh, Man! She is FINE! There is plenty of nudity with some very attractive chicks, some lame rock songs current for that time in the 90's, and at least a reasonable plot. Did I really say that? I'd invest in a bikini car wash too if Kristi would take her top off for me. The last sex scene is the best though with her on top. She could ride me anytime.

Wow!
BlackJack_B4 January 2001
When I saw this film at my video store(with the unrated message at the bottom) I knew this was going to be good, and it was. If you're looking for a film that offers good looking women going topless and wearing thongs, this is the one to get. Good looking cast, interesting story, great music and videos (boy these ladies can dance), and the trio of Suzanne, Kristi, and Neriah add up to great fun (although I liked the lady with the camera the most, what a gluteous maximus she has!). Of course, make sure you get the Unrated version. Also skip the sequel, neither the R-Rated or Unrated version can top the original.

First DVD I bought
Blueghost29 July 2010
I don't care what anybody thinks. This was the first DVD I bought, and I don't give a damn what anybody thinks of that. I didn't buy it because it was Shakespeare, I bought it because I wanted to see some hot babes on the screen, and I don't like so-called adult flicks (porn).

There's not much here. Hot girls who can't act parade their bodily assets on screen with a thin layer of plot and story to cover up the expose. I have to admit, these were the kind of people I grew up with in California a couple of decades before, when Hard Rock was king, and stingray Corvettes, large vans with elaborate paint schemes and American sports cars were all the rage.

This was the culture I knew. Did I love it? Not then. But I miss it now.

Look, this movie's garbage. There's little if anything redeeming here. But the women, except for the strippers, are pretty decent looking. The sequel I think has better looking girls. Miss Ducati I guess tried to get a real acting career going, but I guess it never got drilled into her head that talent, not looks, carries you in the arts.

I've got my favorites. Not soft porn, strictly T-n-A. A good watch for all red-white-n-blue blooded American males.

WATCH IT! HAVE FUN!

Lame but harmless T & A comedy
goya-427 September 2000
A guy who is running his uncle's carwash meets up with a business major out of college and a light bulb goes off! Car Wash..Bikinis...Hmmm..the bikinis come out and the fun begins..of course the bikinis dont stay on very long..and that is the reason most of us watch this movie..to see gorgeous women in and out of their bikinis (including former playmate Neriah Davis) and to that point this movie does VERY well...but as far as a movie goes...i dont think so..on a scale of one to ten..2

Best of The Breasts
errick2k12 January 2000
This has to be one of the best breast late night movies. This movie is not for mental but genital stimulation. Of all the take off my top for business movies this one is the best, primarily because of its high breast factor. Tops are coming off all over the place. Another great feature of this movie are the assorted music videos which feature almost nonstop nudity great for perverts everywhere. Also make sure you see the uncut version, I have seen a couple of versions on cable and the ones that are cut aren't as good. So if your looking for hot women nude check out the carwash company.
