Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt remembered his mother and iconic actress Nargis, whom he fondly called his “guiding light” on her 94th birth anniversary.
Taking to Instagram to pay a tribute, Sanjay posted a monochrome photograph of his mother and wrote: “To my guiding light, happy birthday, Mom. I love you and miss you always.”
It was in the 1980 when Nargis was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She passed away on May 3, 1981.
One of India’s finest actors, Nargis began her film career as a leading lady in the early 1940s and continued to perform until 1967. She made her screen debut in a small role at the age of five with the 1935 film ‘Talash-e-Haq’. But started her journey in filmdom with the 1942 film ‘Tamanna’.
It was on the sets of ‘Mother India’ in 1957, when Nargis and late actor Sunil Dutt fell in love with each other after a fire broke out and he rescued her.

The fiercely against-the-tide surprise-quotient of Mahesh Bhatt hasn’t been matching most of the films that he has produced in the last few years. There was always this hope in the heart that wahi subah (Arth, Janam, Saraansh, Zakhm, Tamanna, Daddy) kabhi phir to aayegi. I watched the promo of Vidya Balan propelled Begum Jaan todayRead More

Designer Nishka Lulla is all set to tie the knot with businessman Dhruv Mehra in Bangkok, Thailand. Before jetting off to the destination wedding, the duo hosted a brunch in Mumbai for family and friends. Not only is Nishka herself a well-known name within the fraternity, she also has a long-lasting relationship with the fraternity, given that mum Neeta Lulla is also a designer, and a National Award winning one at that! The event had attendees in a mix of Western and Indian attires. Given that it was a pre-wedding brunch, it was also hard to judge what should have been the dress code.
Nishka Lulla
The bride-to-be sported a design by her mother. If you know Nishka’s style, you know she’s an ultra girly-girl, so the fact that she went all out in this light pink princess-gown came as no surprise. Seems like the event actually had a Disney/Fairytale theme,...

Who knew that a Whwn for the Screen Awards would be Bs’s most lengthy fashion feature in a long time! And outstanding turn out with fashionistas bringing their best, and sometimes their worst, to the red carpet. Read on for a full fashion low down for the evening!
1. Nimrat Kaur
It was a blue embellished Amit Gt gown for Nimrat for the awards night. I truly want to like this look, but the gown itself, especially the neckline cut, is stopping me from doing so. What I do love is the hair and makeup. Lets hope Nimrat fares better at the next awards show.
Not Hot
2. Sona Mohapatra
One to always stick to her unique style, Sona did it no different for Screens. The Payal Khandwala combo worked in concept and definitely on the ramp, but sadly the way the top was worn made it look like our beloved...

Mumbai, Dec 25: It has been over a decade since Pooja Bhatt has been seen on the big screen as an actess. She says she is open to the idea of facing the camera again - as long as she gets to act her age.
Pooja first turned producer with "Tamanna" in 1998. Later, she took up film direction with "Paap" in 2003.
"I would like to act my age. I am proud to be 40 because I have survived till 40 with my soul intact. I don't think there are many people who have survived their business like that," said Pooja.
"So, I would like to play women of my age (on screen). If somebody can accommodate my girth and my mirth in a roll, then.
