Not bad advice here

Not a JW but I'd recommend a lot of the advice their publications and movies give. This is old and cheesy, they have lots more these days.

Ignore the hate...

Yes the video is a bit heavy handed and obvious. Personally I think instead of a 40 minute video this could easily be a series looking at how depression and loneliness can make a teenager make poor decisions.. But remember this *was* the first modern day drama that was ever produced by the WBT society

Endoctrination Propaganda

The goal of this film is to convince Jehovah's Witness children/teens that it's dangerous to be friends with anyone outside of their religion. This film deeply influenced me as a young person, and it caused me to cut off true long-lasting friendships just because they weren't Jehovah's Witnesses. It has taken me decades to try to rewire my brain to convince myself that non-JWs aren't bad people.
