Neil Diamond and James Corden sang a dirty version of "Sweet Caroline," about an outrageous office holiday party on The Late Late Show Wednesday.
"Sweet Christmastime" found Diamond and Corden trading lyrics about an awkward holiday gathering that descends into sloppy drunkenness after shots are thrown back and the eggnog gets spiked: "Fran touching Stan/ Sexting Val/ Kissing Steve/ Kissing Stu," the pair sing in the hilarious build to the chorus – during which the "So good" refrain was replaced by "So drunk!"

How many times have you seen Star Wars? For most fans, it’s impossible to count. The original trilogy has been around for almost forty years, and now multiple generations have grown up with the movies as part of the cultural backdrop, watching and re-watching the dark side versus the light.
At this point it probably feels like you know everything there is to know about Star Wars, but think again. One of the key reasons why the franchise is so universally popular is because of how much work went into realising it, meaning there’s a whole bunch of amazing facts out there about its creation and subsequent popularity.
So grab yourself a drink from Mos Eisley Cantina and get ready for some seriously mind-blowing details about Star Wars. From acting elephants to pop-star cameos to something called a Jizz-Wailer (seriously), these are the facts you’re looking for.

Sorry, "We Wish You a Merry Christmas," but your charming harmonies can't hold a candle to the dulcet tones of Billy Eichner and Will Ferrell yelling at pedestrians about Christmas movies. Ah, you'll think whenever you hear someone scream "Elf or Scrooged?" in the coming decades, That reminds me of the Christmastimes of my youth. A more innocent time that was, back when Fifth Avenue was still made of pavement, not flames, and you could walk down it throwing dollar bills at random people without worrying they'd sic their rat-minions on you. Those were the days.

It’s the holiday season where most are thinking egg nog, fluffy snow, decorating cookies and Santa Claus. But if director Michael Dougherty has anything to say about it with his latest film Krampus, this festive time of year will include a darker Christmas legend whose shadow over pop culture is growing.
Ancient folklore warns of Krampus, a myth that has been traced back centuries throughout European cultures. Santa rewards the nice; Krampus punishes the naughty. Santa brings laughter and joy; Krampus unleashes darkness and mayhem. Santa gives presents; Krampus takes souls.
Dougherty says, “The same way that Americans send out Christmas cards, Europeans have this rich tradition of sending out Krampus cards. I was shown these beautiful illustrations of this creature called Krampus, who stole children, and images of people cowering in fear. Still, they had such a fun, mischievous quality, similar to our Halloween. I found that appealing...

Christmas is coming and that means crappy TV commercials, awful festive songs and snotty nosed sprogs banging on your front door with a half-hearted version of We Wish You a Merry Christmas, and hoping to make enough money to buy a cheap bottle of wine! All this is interspersed with eating and drinking too much, and pretending to be grateful for the ill fitting Rudolph sweater Aunt Florence bought especially for you.
Okay I’m a Christmas misery, especially when it comes to festive films on TV. I’m not knocking It’s a Wonderful Life (1943) and Miracle on 34th Street (1941), but they are filled with too much sentiment for a cynical old sod like me.

Yesterday the release date for Star Wars: Episode VII was revealed to be December the 18th, 2015. Setting a release date for a film which hasn’t been written yet may seem foolhardy but this is Star Wars, so there was a palpable excitement felt across the internet, as if millions of rumours cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.
The festive release date not only places Star Wars outside of the incredibly crowded 2015 Blockbuster season but returns Star Wars to seasonal spot which has previously given rise to some of the series’ most interesting off-shoots. The infamous Holiday Special (disowned by Lucas, but embraced – and then recoiled from – by the internet) was one such enterprise, as was this little gem: the Star Wars inspired Christmas Album Christmas in the Stars.

It's beginning to look a lot like "Glee" is putting out a new Christmas album. According to Hypable, the album will hit stores on December 4, 21 days before.
The album, the third "Glee" holiday CD, will include some contemporary Christmas songs mixed with classics. The reported tracklist is:
"Shake Up Christmas" "Mistletoe" "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" "White Christmas"/"Skinny Love" "All I Have" "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" "Wonderful Christmastime" "Snow" "My Only Wish (This Year)" "Christmas Lights" "Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree" "Magic" "Silent Night"
Looks like Bon Iver will get the "Glee" treatment as a mash-up with the holiday classic "White Christmas." "Glee" has released two holiday albums in the past, "Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album" in November 2010 and "Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album Volume 2" in November 2011.
No word on whether "Glee" will be doing another full Christmas-themed episode like the series did in Season 3.
"Glee" airs Thursdays at 9 p.

Strangulations, ground-down corpses and bodies concealed inside tanning beds... surely we're talking about Tarantino or perhaps even one of the Coens' grittier films? Jackpot follows on from the phenomenal surprise success of last year's Headhunters, using another Jo Nesbo novel as source material for this darkly comic crime story. Having sold over nine million books, Norway's leading crime writer doesn't disappoint, again helping to sustain Scandinavia's current reputation as producers of high quality crime fiction.
Opening with a police interview set-up, Oscar Svendson (Kyrre Hellum) is quickly established as the film's protagonist. Combining filmed footage through the camera and 'live' action, Director and co-writer, Magnus Martens, uses Oscar's vulnerable situation to quickly make him a sympathetic lead. How do you make the third film in your stoner comedy series stand out from the previous two? According to the new photos from 'A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas,' add Jesus as a character and show Santa Claus lying on the ground unconscious. Most of the images feature things we already know about, thanks to the first trailer for the film and the character posters that were released earlier in the month. (Danny Trejo in an ugly Christmas sweater! Neil Patrick Harris performing 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas'!) However, there are a few new things, including our first glimpse at Maria (Paula Garces) as well as Kumar (Kal Penn) sporting a hobo-esque beard. You can check out all the photos ahead.

There are plenty of celebrities who abuse their star power to get what they want, but "Bored To Death" star Zach Galifianakis relied on his verbal skills to get him out of a recent cupcake emergency.
According to The Daily the actor was in desperate need of 500 gluten-free vegan cupcakes the day before his 42nd birthday, and turned to the busy Manhattan bakery, Babycakes to get him out of the jam.
But 500 cupcakes is a tall order, and the bakery owner told the paper they initially refused the actor's request.
Galifinakis clearly wanted to celebrate his birthday with these very specific cupcakes, and ultimately the actor was able to use his power of persuasion, but had to agree to mini cupcakes instead.

While the time they spend outside frolicking in the snow equates to peaceful R&R time for you parents, you can help even if out by putting in some of these high-quality Christmas classics that are guaranteed to be as entertaining for the grown-ups as they are for the kids.

Kids’ shows run the gamut from simple, mind-numbing garbage to seriously high-brow stuff that aims as much at the parents’ funny bones as it does the kids’. Phineas and Ferb takes the latter situation to an odd point by splitting the cartoon down the middle with half of each episode catering to either parents or their children. For the kids in the audience, the adventures of the titular characters includes stuff like translating the language of animals or helping Santa save Christmas and the show’s bright colors and over the top line delivery gives them all the prompting for laughter necessary to make the show an enjoyable one. Then you have the portion of the show angled at the parents, wherein the two brothers’ pet platypus Perry foils the plan of the crazy, evil mad scientist Doofenshmirtz who delivers dialogue far above the heads of the young ones but...

Jessica Simpson has posted a video of herself on Twitter doing ear candling--a method of drawing out ear wax suggested by her stylist, Ken Paves. It doesn't look fun. "Who gives this kind of candle for a christmas gift?" she tweeted. In the video Paves sings "We wish you a Merry Christmas" as Jessica screams and moans. Ear candling is widely regarded as a quack practice, as the residue it leaves is wax from the candle, not the ear. It can also be dangerous if the hot wax drips into the ear and burns the eardrum. On the surface, Disney’s direct-to-dvd/Blu-ray adventure, Santa Buddies, may have the cringe factor working against it; lovable dogs on the cover wearing Santa caps and looking adorable. It’s enough to make parents want to puke in their stocking with this adventure put on constant repeat. But it’s not, for the most part, an annoying adventure. It’s sweet, cuddly and tinged with the typical message of Christmas that guarantees a favorable response from the children.
Dogs and Disney go together like hot and chocolate so it’s no surprise that the fine people at Disney put out more than their fair share of lovable doggy doo. Unlike its Air Bud predecessors, Santa Buddies is more cartoon than basing its adventure in any sort of kind realism. There is no dog that is “gifted” who becomes a basketball/football/lacrosse/water polo star. Instead, we have a...
