Meek Mill will be spending the next two to four years behind bars. CBS News reports that the 30-year-old rapper was sentenced by a Philadelphia judge on Monday.
Mill was charged with violating his probation after a 2009 drug and gun case and has been dealing with Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley for almost a decade now.
"I've been trying to help you since 2009," Brinkley said (per CBS News). "You basically thumbed your nose at me."
The judge cited a failed drug test, failure to comply with a court order restricting his travel, and two other unrelated arrests.

James Corden hit the crowded streets of Los Angeles with Sam Smith for a new installment of "Carpool Karaoke"
The pair rode around the city in Corden's SUV on Wednesday's Late Late Show, singing some of Smith's most iconic songs and dishing on their personal lives.
While Smith is a huge star in his own right, the 25-year-old singer-songwriter admitted that he still gets starstruck from time to time when he meets a celeb he's particularly fond of, including one particularly handsome leading man.
"Ryan Gosling in person? Oh my god, I was dead," Smith marveled, and Corden couldn't help but agree.
"When I look at Ryan Gosling, I'm like, 'Technically, we're the same species,'" Corden added, laughing.

There is nothing more important to Normani Kordei than family.
This is evident as soon as you speak with her, but it was especially on her mind when Et chatted with her on Monday, just two days after she participated in her first breast cancer walk, American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K, in Santa Monica, California.
This was no ordinary stroll for the Fifth Harmony singer -- she was surrounded by breast cancer survivors, including her mom, Andrea Hamilton.
"The event was incredible. It was one of the best experiences and most memorable that I've had. It was honestly so surreal, exhilarating, exciting, emotional -- just a range of different emotions and feelings, because it's a cause so dear to my heart and close to me and my family because of our experience, my mom going through breast cancer," Kordei tells Et. The characters on “You’re the Worst” have always been a bit troubled, but the show’s Season 3 ended with the kind of cliffhanger that blew everything up. Moments after alcoholic writer Jimmy proposed to his live-in signficant other Gretchen, he hopped in a car and sped off. Now, as Season 4 opens, it turns out three months have passed, and Jimmy has started a new life at a retirement Rv village hundreds of miles away. Gretchen, who already struggles from depression, has become a shut-in. And their best friends, Edgar and Lindsay, have moved on and are weirdly thriving.
“I always believe in taking bold storytelling choices,” creator Stephen Falk told IndieWire’s Turn It On podcast. “They’re not always right, but sometimes it’s exactly what you need in the moment. We’re a heightened version of a romantic comedy. It felt in character for everything we built and good for the show.

The mood got decidedly funnier and edgier in this year’s Emmy race for Original Music and Lyrics. It was a badly needed tonic for the country. Most notably, Tina Fey joined the musical fray for the first time, looking for her 10th Emmy with the hilarious “Hell No,” a tribute to Beyonce’s “Lemonade” (featuring an enraged Tituss Burgess) from “Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt.”
But, given the current zeitgeist, it’s not surprising that Chance the Rapper was nominated for his Run-d.M.C.–inspired rap tribute to Obama, “Last Christmas,” from “Saturday Night Live,” or that Rachel Bloom was back again with the raunchy “We Tapped That Ass” from “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.” There was even room for the excruciatingly uncomfortable “The Ballad of Claus Jorstad (Devil Stool)” from “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” and and the animated burlesque of “Jing-a-Ling-a-Ling” from “Duck the Halls: A Mickey Mouse Christmas Special.”

For those of you that have never had your heart broken I’m not sure whether to say congratulations or you poor soul. Breaking up with someone you love is never easy, especially if you’ve found the one person that makes your heart beat a little quicker each time they enter the room. Movies with break up scenes tend to make you remember how bad that heartache really is, and how devastating it can feel. In truth it’s as though someone’s just reached into your chest and removed your heart by yanking it down through your guts. Weird I know, but

Last Week’S Review: Adam Makes His Movie As Hannah’s Life Goes Off Script
[Spoilers follow for “Girls” Season 6, Episode 6, “Full Disclosure.”]
Love Her or Hate Her
Love, with one mild caveat. While it’s been fresh to see so much sudden character growth and maturity from Hannah this season, the reveal that she has no interest in even trying to contact her unborn child’s father is a controversial one. Yes, Paul-Louis has a girlfriend. But does he have the right to know that the girl he had a fling with is having his baby? There are certainly two opinions on the subject, and almost everyone that Hannah shared her news with on Sunday night fell into the camp of the father having the right to know. The only advocate for Hannah’s decision to exclude Paul-Louis was her father, but then again Tad has always been something of a pushover for his daughter and hates rocking the boat.

Last Week’S Review: In ‘Painful Evacuation,’ Major Revelations Shake Up the Status Quo
[Spoilers follow for “Girls” Season 6, Episode 5, “Gummies.”]

This week Hannah pretty much skipped the baby part of having a baby and went right into becoming the mother of two teens, otherwise known as Loreen and Elijah. Both characters made the baby all about them after Loreen sucked back a few too many pot gummies and Elijah helped Hannah scour the city in order to find her. For Loreen, the baby signified another nail in her coffin, while Elijah selfishly didn’t want to give up his current living situation with Hannah.
As a result Hannah seemed a lot more grown up this week than usual, proving that pregnancy looks good on her — at least in the early stages (the opening shot put the pregnancy at about six weeks). Not only had she been thinking the situation through...

“The Son,” aptly, is the story of sons. While one could argue it should’ve then been called “The Sons,” the title of Philipp Meyer, Lee Shipman, and Brian McGreevy’s new AMC series almost feels like an invitation to pick one of the many featured sons, and that’s the one you’ll care about. Even if this is the case, the main protagonist, Eli McCullough — who’s more than likely the titular “Son” — is flawed not only in character, but also in concept. So the many scenes devoted to both the young and old versions of him hamper any enjoyment in the other intriguing characters and makes the first two episodes a bit of a slog.
Primarily focusing on two defining time periods in Eli’s life — set during 1849 and 1915 — the hour-long western incorporates at least three additional sons into the narrative. We meet Young Eli (Jacob Lofland...

Breaking up may be hard to do, but Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are making it look quite easy. The bust up between director Danny Boyle and Ewan McGregor over “The Beach” is a pretty well known story at this point, but one that’s getting fresh airing with the release this weekend of “T2: Trainspotting” in the U.K., and one you’re likely to hear a few more times before the film lands stateside. But the short version goes like his: after making three movies together, Danny Boyle and Ewan McGregor were going to reunite for “The Beach.” However, when Boyle decided to go with fast-rising Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead role instead (who had major post-“Titanic” heat and could get the movie up-and-running with a healthy budget), McGregor didn’t take it well, the pair didn’t speak for years.

Eddie Lane (Aaron Paul)
Where We Left Off: Eddie left the church after a series of disconcerting events — including visions of a giant snake — that forced him to question his faith. He separated from his wife, Sarah, because of his crisis of faith, as she could not remain married to a “denier” (someone who was part of the movement and left) under the rules of Meyerism. On advice from Richard (Clark Middleton), Eddie returned to Peru in search of explanations for his wild visions. There, he found the hospital where Meyerist founder Steven Meyer was incapacitated…but now he’s awake!
Prediction No. 1: Steve won’t give Eddie the answers he wants. Eddie arrived in Peru looking for proof that Meyerism was nothing but an ever-expanding lie, and finding Steve — awake, nonetheless — could provide him that very opportunity. But, even without meeting Steve, it seems unlikely he would turn into a denier himself.

Breaking up This Is Us’ beloved couple, Jack and Rebecca, is a tough job for anyone. But star Milo Ventimiglia may have just dropped a major clue about Rebecca’s current beau, Miguel.
“What people need to understand is, Miguel and Jack are best friends. Jack is not around -- and I can’t say anything more than that -- but Miguel loves Jack and Jack loves Miguel. Hulu has now unveiled the key art and character teases for season two of its popular series “The Path,” which stars Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan and Hugh Dancy. The chilling individual videos tease what’s to come for each of the characters during the 13-episode season of the drama, which follows the machinations of a religious cult.

This season will follow the Meyerist Movement as it tries to make sense of Dr. Meyer’s (Keir Dullea) mysterious departure.
Each character will be tasked with their own big struggles, as Eddie (Paul) is forced to deal with both a whole new life and some recurring visions. Meanwhile, Sarah (Monaghan) attempts to acclimate to being C0-Guardian of the Light alongside Cal (Dancy), a change that is made all the more difficult when she discovers pieces of Cal’s so-called “dark past.

The CW is about to delve into comic book territory again, but this time it won’t feature DC superheroes.
In the network’s new mystery thriller “Riverdale,” the familiar characters from Archie Comics get a dark, almost neo-noir update. Set in the title small town, the series reimagines Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead and the rest of Riverdale High as lusty, troubled, occasionally scheming, often secretive teens embroiled in uncovering the mystery of who murdered one of their own.

How do you turn one woman’s inner narrative into something visceral? Especially when that woman is describing the horrific dystopia in which she’s trapped? That’s the challenge director Reed Morano faced when she took on Hulu’s upcoming adaptation of “The Handmaid’s Tale” — and it was one that she relished.
“I just pitched the craziest ideas I could,” Morano told IndieWire on Saturday at the Television Critics Association press tour.
Showrunner Bruce Miller described the series, set in a dystopian world that subjugates women, as a “thriller.” But it’s also an intimate depiction of life in this terrifying world, told almost entirely from the point of view of Offred (Elisabeth Moss), a young woman forced essentially into sexual slavery.

The name “Donald Trump” was never uttered, but his presence lingered over a Saturday morning discussion with the stars and producer of Hulu’s “The Path.”
The series cast, including Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan, and Hugh Dancy, along with creator Jessica Goldberg, sounded starkly aware that 2017 will be a far different year than many expected, and their show might be seen differently as a result — likely for the better.
“I’m so excited this show is coming out in this new American time,” Goldberg told reporters during Hulu’s panel discussion at the Television Critics Association press tour. “I think it will be really interesting how we look to faith during this change in American life.”

‘Jumanji’ Stars Dwayne Johnson and Karen Gillan Defend Her Skimpy Costume: It Will ‘Make Sense Soon’
The Twitterverse had a field day yesterday after the first image of the new “Jumanji” movie was released and featured Karen Gillan wearing a belly-baring crop top and short shorts. Many called the outfit choice sexist and wondered why they dressed her in such a skimpy jungle costume.
Upon sharing the photo on his Instagram account, Dwayne Johnson had written, “Our dope 90’s vintage costumes will all make sense when our plot’s revealed. Truuuuuust me.” Yet people still complained about how Gillan’s costume was “super sexualized” and said that there better be a good reason for her outfit choice. (Others simply wished The Rock was “shirtless and in torn shorts.”)
I love Karen Gillan. Like, properly adore her. But if there isn't a good reason for that Jumanji costume we are Breaking Up.

Today, we're taking a look at some of those spoilery aspects of the book and what they mean for the future. Come inside to check it out!
While I kept my review for the book spoiler free it was incredibly difficult to do so. As we get further into the new era of Star Wars, with more material released to explain some of the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, more of the story is coming into focus. Life Debt brings about a few more answers (and quite a few more questions) not only for The Force Awakens, but potential future stories as well.

The demand for original television programming is sky-rocketing and doesn’t appear to be coming down any time soon. From the explosion of subscription services like Netflix and Hulu, to websites and brands looking to step into the original content game, to the continued expansion of scripted and unscripted programming on dozens of cable channels, outlets are desperately looking for original content that can stand-out in the abundance of programming now available to consumers.
Out of this demand has emerged a new way for creatives to break into TV: the Dyi pilot. Instead of writing a spec and trying to break into TV the old fashion way, content creators are following the path independent filmmakers and shooting low budget pilots that serve as proofs of concept for a hungry TV industry hoping to find the next “High Maintenance.”

Breaking up is never easy, and it's even trickier when you have to work with an ex after you've split. Imagine being an actor, though, and instead of just having to see your former flame on a regular basis, you have to pretend to still be in love with them on camera! Charlize Theron is luckier than a lot of stars in that respect. She worked with her ex Sean Penn on The Last Face, but in their case, he was working behind the camera directing. Filming is over now, but Charlize and Sean's obligations to the film aren't. They're currently promoting The Last Face at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. Initially, it seemed the former couple made every attempt to have as many other people as a buffer...

Oh, the Foo Fighters are breaking up? Oh, Dave Grohl is going solo? Nope, not happening. The band teased fans with a big announcement earlier tonight, and while many were dreading that the news would be a heartbreaking confirmation that they're done, that (luckily) wasn't the case. Instead, they addressed all of the rumors with a parody video that surprisingly featured Nick Lachey. Random? Yes. Are we mad at it? No. The spoof shows Grohl leaving the band to go on his own with Lachey coming in to take his place.
